The hotel is strategically located in Da'an district, & less than 5 mins walk from Da'an Station Exit 4 or 5, an interchange station for 2 MRT lines (Brown and Red), making our trips everywhere a breeze. Taipei is a safe and very "walkable" city, with pedestrian walkway along every road. Linjiang/TongHua Night Market is a short 20 mins walk away, so is the award-winning 18 Guanjun beef noodle restaurant. The hotel breakfast is commendable, if you had a "Chinese Palette". I love the variety of side dishes that go well with the porridge. We stayed for 5 nights, and the hotel made at least 2 changes to its breakfast spread daily, and we appreciated that. You can also order eggs from the wait staff although there's no explicit "eggs station" sign. This will be our hotel of choice when we visit Taipei again.

My 12th-floor room facing east has a big window with a sweeping view of the city, even the mountain, which made me feel less isolated. My room is clean, quiet, and comfortable. It is well stocked with linen, toiletries, and tea/coffee, which they replenish promptly on demand. There is laundry and dish detergent, a retractable clothesline, and plenty of hangers. An electric kettle and a fridge help. My room is big enough for me to do daily aerobic exercise. The cable channels are sufficient. The meals are sensational. The hotel provides a variety of delicious and nutritious foods, some ordered from famous restaurants nearby. I didn't get tired for 10 days. In fact, they are something to look forward to. If you order takeout, the staff deliver almost immediately.

The WiFi is sporadic. I got my own router to boost it up. Only one elevator (the other one for staff only) is working. I had to wait quite some time and finally took the one for staff which was frequent and empty. Suggest " priority for staff " for both elevators. The meals usually arrived lukwarm. It's understandable when they are ordered from outside. The staff try to deliver as soon as possible. Suggest a small microwave in every room, which is a standard in the USA.

Great location and the predominantly local breakfast was decent. Remember to check out the counter where you can ask for freshly cooked eggs (eg. sunny-side up). To my knowledge, this service is not common amongst the 3/4 star restaurants I’d stayed at in Taiwan. Room lighting can be adjusted using the console at the bedside table. Small but cosy hotel lobby is useful for waiting after checkouts.

Room ceiling can be quite low for taller guests and room can feel claustrophobic for longer-term stays. Lift lobby at each floor is a bit stuffy (lack of air conditioning).

First, the location. It is very near Daan MRT, so, it is very convenient to go to any place in Taipei using the MRT system. (Tip: Buy the MRT Day Pass, it is more convenient.) The hotel is clean with complete amenities. The bed is comfy and the pillows are soft. There are coffee shops, eateries, and a 7-Eleven nearby.

There is no bidet. For the kind of hotel, the breakfast spread is kind of underwhelming, in my opinion.

my room was kept clean everyday and replenished with toiletries and toilet paper and towels. the shampoo, conditioner and body wash came in a big bottle of dispenser which was very convenient and didn’t have to worry about running out of them. they provided good quality toothpaste and toothbrush, house slippers and all the basic necessities. I’m very pleased with the service and how friendly the staff were. overall a very great experience.

I got there around 7 am, and the staff was friendly enough to offer me free breakfast while I was waiting for my room that was available only at 2pm. I could entertain myself with free coffees and biscuits (very good ones) while working on my laptop.

The room was really tiny. Overall - Good experience, just the prices went through the roof comparing to pre-covid times. I paid less in Shangri La in Tainan for a mega room.

location which was very near the Daan mrt. Plenty of eateries, convenience stalls nearby in a clean district, broad walkways. functioning lift to the rooms. Availability of breakfast.

the property was revamped but still dated. the toilet did not have the electric bidets like most Taiwanese hotels. the rooftop garden is not worth walking up the stairs.

The location is absolutely great! It was just a walk distance from the metro Daan station (you can use both exit 4 or 5 ~ both of them are connected).

Just only one thing I don't like that much is the ceiling heigh of the room, that can cause the reason of feel like the room is small but it is actually a good size to stay.

Very convenient location you can walk to Tonghua night market within 15 minutes and the location is right next to a lot of restaurants and local coffee shops. The room was clean. The only thing was the bed was harder than I would like. It is a good hotel for quick weekend trips or business trips.

People were super nice and helpful. Breakfast was simple but very nice and quiet and not too busy.

Aircon in the room was not cold. Centralized at around 22deg. They immediately added fan when we gave that feedback.
