Location is not bad - tip: its easier to walk from Beimen Exit 2 (Tacheng Street), just a straight road down then turn right at a small carpark. Otherwise can also walk 10-15min from Zhongshan MRT or Taipei Main! There is a nice Taiwanese breakfast option to the right (尚雯早午餐) or a small coffee place that sells really affordable and nice sandwiches/french toast to the left (初作早餐 塔城店／企業外送/下午茶訂餐) Walking to Ningxia night market is super easy as well! Facilities are very well organised, toilets/showers/washing up area/hairdrying area/laundry room are all separated, everything is very clean and at the hairdryer station they even provide cotton pads with Bioderma micellar water and Cetaphil body lotion!! The common lounge has card games which I used with a few other hostel guests. It was fun and chill (: A more commercial hostel so employees are less personal, but they will definitely answer all your enquiries and ensure that you are well taken care of!

Private room was great, had a great time every night in the shared space too on the lower floor, checkout was at 12

we stayed in the private 2 people bedroom up on the 7th floor. the room is on the smaller side and it has everyone we need. we like the common area a lot. we can’t eat or drink beverage other than water in the room but we can do that at the common area. the common area is just as comfortable and has everything we need such as plates, utensils, fridge and microwave. they also have water station for cold, cool and hot water. you can make tea or coffee instantly. with the reasonable price, you can’t go wrong with this place. being able to do laundry is a bonus. the dryer in Taiwan is not as powerful so even after 75 min of drying, you still need to hang the clothes to dry for a day afterwords. also, the laundry machines only takes 10 dollar coins, if you are doing laundry outside of the staffing period, make sure you got enough 10 dollar coins.

we stay on the 7th floor, there is patio for smoking but I find if someone smokes there, the whole hall way smells it.

The common area is very spacious, with a well equipped kitchen, well designed, warm, clean. The kitchen has hot and cold drinking water tap, 2 sinks, free coffee and tea, toaster oven, microwave, and also self paid bottled water, instant noodles, soft drinks and beer for your convenience. The sound proof is excellent, no noise is heard from the street. Everything is new, clean and elegant.

Sometimes people talk too loud in the phone or make video calls in the common area like in their own living room.

This was my second time to stay here, since the first time was satisfying, the second was time was as expected, smooth check in, clean, nice and quiet room, friendly and accommodating staff. Wonderful stay! Would love to always come back and stay here.

One of the best hostels I’ve stayed at. They have all the necessary facilities such as a water dispenser as well as bioderma makeup remover and cetaphil lotion. The shampoo and body wash provided was excellent as well. Board games and playing cards were provided as well in the common area which had a really nice cozy vibe to it. All the pictures provided were very true to the place. We really enjoyed having a large bathroom with a sink that allows us to shower and brush our teeth within one space rather than needing to scramble around with our things. We booked a private quadruple room which came with 2 hangers for each person as well as an international plug socket so you don’t have to worry about forgetting your travel adaptor.

If I had to be picky, I would not choose this if I was travelling alone as it gets quite dark at night in the area. However, the hostel itself remains really welcoming and it didn’t feel awkward walking around in the early mornings or late at night.

Only one slow elevator and the rooms are on different floors The washing machine only takes 4 10 dollar coins, there is only one dryer We had a lot of 10 dollar coins laying in our room for the stupid washing machine, exactly the amount we needed and the cleaning lady just stole some of them and did not make the bed

My double room is clean and gets cleaned every day. The staff is helpful. The toilet is an automatic Japanese-style one. There is a common room for guests, although I didn’t use it. Instant noodles are available for purchase, and tea and coffee are free.

The hostel is a bit far from the nearest subway station. To travel to other places, you need to walk about 10 minutes to reach Taipei Main Station. The area feels more local with just a few convenience stores. My double room is so small that it feels cramped, with a low ceiling similar to a cheap apartment. I asked the staff to empty the humidifier, but no one did. It’s not a big issue, though.

Second time I'm staying there. All perfect. Try to stay in "mixed dorm with balcony", it's on the 6th floor and much more private than staying on the 2nd floor where the reception is situated - and it has it's own big and comfortable "private" common area.

Clean, affordable, has all the amenities you need, and it’s close to shops and public transportation. I was impressed with the quality of this hostel for what you have to pay. I stayed it a one bedroom private room that had strong AC (great for the humidity), WiFi and the room was clean with its own bathroom that had shampoo, body wash and tooth brush/toothpaste. A bonus was they had a laundry machine downstairs (40NT for washer / 50NT for dryer - only accepts 10NY coins) which was great to be able to clean your cloths after being out each day when it’s hot. Can’t go wrong with this hostel! 🙂
