We were a group of 12 and stayed at the Urban Rose Hotel. The manager, Mr. Raaj was fantastic. He took care of our airport shuttle by providing a bus to and from the airport. It was reassuring to know the hotel would pick us up at 1100pm at night. He also arranged a wonderful breakfast buffet for 530 am on the day we were traveling to the airport. He and the managers of each shift was very helpful. Mr. Raaj suggested we spend the day in Mbudya Island by taking a short boat ride to this beautiful island which was a secluded white sand pristine beach. There were huts and they served fresh fish and lobster. The restaurant in the Urban Rose Hotel served delicious Indian and Chinese food. I would definitely stay again if I return to Tanzania.

The stay was wonderful so there was nothing I did not like.

The staff were excellent, very friendly and very helpful. The food on offer at the restaurant for both breakfast and dinner was good value and very tasty. I was put in an upgraded room, which was very kind. The room was clean and really comfortable.

The location was very central and fine. However, having spent one night in the Masaki region, I think that is a slightly better location...it felt like more was happening there.

Very large suite with two AC units and three ceiling fans. Good ventilation with open screened windows in bathroom and kitchenette. Lots of space, plus balcony. Nice sofa, chairs, desk, table=-plenty of work space. Refrigerator, and bottled water provided daily. Excellent buffet breakfast with good Indian choices and lots of tropical fruit. Front desk staff very helpful; kindly allowed us late check-out for our evening flight.

Kitchen and cleaning supplies minimal. Limited reading light.

The location is great, near to the habour and the cathedral, close to street food restaurants and local bars. The room(s) were big and comfortable, with small kitchen, a living room and a bed room, 3 ACs, fans, a balcony, ect. The staff were super helpfull and friendly, thanks to all of you! We would definately coming back!

We arrived at 1:30 am, The gentleman at the front desk was very helpful. He checked us in right away so that we could rest without worry for which we were very grateful. The staff was friendly and helpful, the room was clean and comfortable, the location was central and we enjoyed our stay. We especially enjoyed the young man and young lady on the breakfast crew. They were very attentive and pleasant, great start to our mornings!

very close to the ferry, comfortable but most of all very friendly staff, even offered my elderly friends a ride to the ferry at no charge which is rare in this town. So lovely.

some real coffee at the breakfast buffet would have been good.

The overall stay was excellent..... Hats off to all staff.... Breakfast was very good.... Raaj, the manager was friendly and made our stay very comfortable to the extent that we got take away breakfast when leaving very early in the morning..... All staff were excellent including the driver who picked us and dropped us off....

Wonderful view of the city as we had a spacious apartment on 9th floor. Apartment had kitchen, balcony, living room and two bedrooms. Staff was very friendly and helpful like helped us with SIM cards, money exchange and gave us useful information on what to do

I liked the way the staff came into the room and turned everything on for me and then they even offered to put my items that needed refrigeration into the fridge.

I am just amazed about the service and the crew. It have been the best service i ever had! Starting with the arrival until we left. They helped us with everything. From trying to find a good coffee, order a Uber or places to visit. The manager have been very polite and you noticed they do everything for the "clients". Also the room have been spectacular. Very big and everything inside you need. I would always return again

Breakfast was not that big/special as expected. The service is so great that unfortunately they have been cleaning the room at time we were on breakfast, so when we return we had to wait a bit :)
