THE STAFF IS AMAZING!!! THE ROOMS ARE GORGEOUS! THE FOOD IS DELICIOUS! KHALFAN!! MY GUY!! Thank you so much for making my stay so pleasant, memorable, and amazing! Khalfan was like my personal butler lol that's how on point and handy he was! When I wanted fruit, go to the ATM, find a cab KHALFAN was there! he walked me to the fruit stand made sure I paid a fair price, separate occasions mind you! walked me to the atm and waited for me then walked me back to the hotel, got me a cab when needed made sure I got a fair price, taught me how to play mancala which they have in the lobby lol. Khalfan was always around when I came downstairs and was absolutely always pleasant. Him alone just made my stay worthwhile, but wasn't the only bonus! honestly your entire staff is amazing. The check in was easy and amazing! I got the room I wanted which is gorgeous, comfortable, and modern! Consistently had hot water, night time rounds with candy, mosquito spray (if desired) didn't need it they have AC and heat in the rooms :). When you see the pictures online just know you will be wowed when you're there. Okay, let's talk about the restaurant! I requested a traditional dish and was provided that.I thought it was a soup LOL but it wasn't-it was what I ordered. It was good! It was the snapper-I forgot the name of it.Anyway, I was so convinced I had the wrong dish (they delivered it to my room at no extra charge) that I took a picture and brought it upstairs.They told me that's what the dish looked like and if I was okay with it.I said it's fine. Went back down and tried it and cleaned the bowl LOL. Later that evening I was upstairs enjoying the view- PLEASE GO UPSTAIRS TO THE RESTAURANT THE VIEWS ARE SPECTACULAR!!!!!! 360 VIEWS! IT WAS ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!!!!!! While I was upstairs one of the gentlemen insisted that he give me back some of the money because it wasn't what I was expecting. I told him I did enjoy but he kept insisting.

ABSOLUTELY NOTHING! Your staff works hard and they are so attentive! The rooms are gorgeous and with the security outside 24/7 you can always feel safe. I thank you for hiring them and they all deserve a raise!! :)

I booked a twin and arrived late in the night, past midnight. The place is quite easy to find. The taxis at the airport knew where and how to find it. It's by the road and accessing the entrance was quite easy. Check-in was straight forward at 2:00 AM in the night. The staff were very helpful. They have various payment options. The room was the exact reflection of the images, it was clean and the bathroom is has most of what you need for the price. The view from the windows in the morning is great for those that love ocean view. Breakfast was the best part for me. The food was very tasty and quite a variety to handle almost all nutritional preferences.

Close to the Zanzibar ferry for those who are interested, the view from the 19th floor is good, the staff is excellent especially the man who carries the luggage from check-in to check-out, he is professional and responsible. The food is good and the waitress is very polite (her name is Amina). I was satisfied overall.

The people cleaning the room ( housekeeping) knocked on my door twice selling chocolate! and I was relaxed, which is really annoying. Also a paper to write your name, signature and time to enter the fitness club! Other is the water boiler is plastic, not stainless steel, that is unhealthy.

I had an outstanding experience at Golden Tulip Dar City Center. The check-in process was seamless, and the staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful throughout my stay. The room was not only clean but also spacious, providing a comfortable environment. Kudos to the housekeeping team for their excellent job in maintaining the cleanliness. The breakfast, featuring a delightful Indian variety, added a flavorful touch to my mornings. Overall, my stay was perfect, thanks to the hotel's attentive service and impeccable accommodations.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Golden Tulip during my visit. It was an absolutely delightful experience. It ideally located in the heart of City. Its central location made it convenient for exploring nearby attractions, shopping districts, and dining options. The check-in process was seamless. The hotel staff greeted me with warm smiles. The service was truly exceptional. Every staff member I encountered was friendly, courteous, and attentive. They went above and beyond to ensure my comfort and satisfaction throughout my stay. The staff's genuine hospitality added a special touch to my overall experience. The hotel's restaurant offered a many selection of dishes. I also appreciated the cozy ambiance of the restaurant, creating a pleasant atmosphere for dining. My stay was practically flawless, and the hotel exceeded my expectations in every aspect. I wholeheartedly recommend Golden Tulip City Center to anyone visiting Dar es salaam. I am already looking forward to my next visit and another wonderful stay at this hotel.

For Dar es Salaam and Tanzanian standard this is perhaps one of the best hotels. Even though some details are not entirely up to international standards.

There are different little things about the facilities that could be improved (not all lights in the room worked, some of the equipment in the gym does not work, etc.). However, I experienced other hotels in Tanzania, and in all cases things were much worse.

I just finished my visit there (end of October 2022), and it was my second visit (first one in 2018). I can only say that my stay was great and the best thing in the hotel is the staff. They were super friendly and helpful, always trying to help and listen. The views from my room and from the breakfast restaurant are incredible! Breakfast is also delicious, with many choices, and very friendly staff (Addallah and Damian, among others!). People at the reception desk were also great, friendly and helpful. Especial thanks to Hussein and Rashid!

I'd suggest to have more international plugs in the rooms and maybe firmer pillows (these comments are just to improve something which is already good! Even without these details, the stay in the hotel was excellent!).

The staff were always friendly and willing to help. Issues raised were promptly dealt with. The rooms had terrific views, being able to capture either sunrise or sunset depending on which side of the building one was. The staff helped with our trip to Zanzibar, even to the point of sending someone to the port to get our ferry tickets. Restaurant food was good with a good selection. Four seasons pizza a favourite with one of the group.

Breakfast is a bit pricey. A wide selection to choose from, but a lot of vege dishes. And no waffles despite it being on the menu.

The staff were very friendly and hospitable. Luqman who was at reception made us feel welcome and went out of his way to arrange for us to have our apartment even after check out time as our flight was in the evening. We had a 3 bedroom apartment which was extremely spacious with all the necessary amenities in the kitchen. It was very clean and the maids that came to clean every day did a fantastic job and were so nice and friendly too. The location was close to the mosque, restaurants and many shops. The airport was only about 20-30mins away depending on the traffic.

The lights in the main bathroom and 3rd room need to be brighter.
