We had a amazing time at this beautiful hotel with full of amazing people! The service and food was exceptional . The room was super nice and very clean. We had lunch or dinner every day at the hotel and it was perfect. After dinner we went in to the cigar lounge where we meet nice people and had some really nice African cigars,where we also meet the German general manager of the hotel. This hotel have a very nice ambiance where very good trained and friendly staff make sure you really enjoy your stay. A big thanks also to the general manager who’s always around and makes our stay perfect so we don’t want to leave.

The hotel was wonderful. 1st class all the way without being super expensive. Very comfortable, elegantly decorated with all the facilities you can ask for; lounges, several restaurants, spa, lovely outdoor pool area. The rooms were very comfortable. It was a great place to unwind at the end of our travels in Tanzania. The location was good. Not too far from the airport, overlooking the water in a lively area of town. The breakfast buffet was amazing! The entire staff was very professional and helpful. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay there and highly recommend this hotel. It’s obvious they have put a lot of attention into making this a wonderful place to stay.

This hotel is ideally situated if you are catching the ferry to Zanzibar - just out side the main gates. It has all the facilities you would expect from a five star hotel and very comfortable. We had a mini suit, high up overlooking the sea and the views of the harbour are great. The restaurant and bar serve good value food and drinks. When staying here make sure you have all the supplies you need as there are very few outlets around to stock up. It’s built on the site of six redeveloped blocks, so maps in books are out of date for this area.

Location to the ferry is why we booked this hotel. It's literally right across the street and there are porters at the gate of the hotel to assist you with your luggage and help you do all the things needed to get on the boat. Breakfast was great, staff were great, rooms were great, sauna was great and gym was well equipped. One thing that was fantastic was the power outlets were all universal outlets.

Price was a little expensive, but you pay for location. We only stayed 1 night so it was manageable and everything was transparent.

Very nice design in general. Clean. Nice view. Beautiful rooms and wonderful restrooms. Food tasted excellent. Very luxurious. Pleasant staff in cafeteria in lobby.

-We were asked 3 times how we liked our food in a restaurant by 3 different people. -A massage therapist asked us to come there for massage several times, before and after he showed way to restaurant. Seemed a little too much salesoriented and this actually discouraged us to go there. -The person who took the order in the restaurant, was not so efficient in English so we had to correct her to make sure the french fries were upgraded to truffles, instead of giving two different french fries to me. It was also irritating when she was standing behind our table for several minutes observing us like if she had something to tell us. -One of the buttons to the toilet didn't work (small flush).

Everything was super awesome, the staffs were supper friendly and I made quite a good number of friends, Najma and Abdul at the reception were super friendly and helped a lot, then there was my very good friend Frank at the pool side, he Typically made my solo travel enjoyable, all the staffs I came in contact with made me feel so welcomed and at home, best location With perfect views of the city, pool and ocean… I’m lost in words, I’m definitely going back with friends.

1. Nothing everything was top top for me.

The hotel is located in the center of the city, with excellent views that beat my expectation. The staff at the reception and dining area are very friendly and willing to help. I barely moved out of the Hotel since you will find most of the amenities on site. Breakfast was very good, quite a variety to choose from, very clean dining area. I was looking forward to breakfast for the time I stayed at the facility. Another thing I loved about the hotel is it is not crowded, if you are looking for a private time. i enjoyed the pool alone for two days. Very nice and well stocked bar with band in the evening. Highly recommended! I would definitely go back!

Very nice front office staff, very nice facility, spacious and clean room harbour view was great, fantastic breakfast assisted by very accomodating staff.

The service at the restaurant Hamilton is not up to the standard of the hotel, we have ordered a bottle of sparkling wine and it was bad, the waiter promptly replaced it suggesting to change kind of wine as the next botle if the same could be bad as well, we did follow his suggestion and opted for a different bottle which turned out to be good. The issue is about keeping up with the service, after pouring the first glass the waiter vanished, we could see 3 waiter and 2 peoples behind the bar more busy looking at the football match showing on the big screen TV than assisting the guest.

Reception checked us in in the morning at 6.00 o clock without any discussion. Very friendly. Without any extra payment. All the Staff-Members were very helpful and very nice. The Hotel looks very new, very clean and very interesting. We liked especially the Panoramic Elevator, wich looks to the Ferry - Port and the Bay. Also, the Restaurant on the 8th Floor, with Dance Music and Swimming Pool was very inviting.

The hotel is new and it’s so beautiful. compare it to Park Hyatt the room are better in Johari Hotel. The breakfast is one of the things I enjoyed every morning with my fam. Lunch buffet is so very delicious and it’s something not to be missed. My mum, cousin and I visited only one time and we regreted not trying it before. Actually am not a buffet person but this was just next level. #delicious

Good Service is very important, Johari hotel should train they works better. They should avoid words like “I don’t know” instead they can use word like “Let me check that out for you” ask your colleagues or find answers. No one pays for I don’t know.
