We wanted a more “real” Thailand experience, so opted for Bungalows rather than Hotel. The location felt like you were in the middle of a jungle. Lovely green scenery and well kept gardens. Lots of monkeys and other animals. Staff were so friendly. Laundry service on site. Pool was lovely, albeit a bit cold probably due to early season and it not getting much sun. Baby cot was provided for free. Good aircon and WiFi. Free tea coffee water daily and room cleaning. Free shuttle to beach. It was a great authentic Thai experience. Great value for money.

Our bungalow was quite basic but it wasn’t a negative at all. It gave us a more real experience. I think some other reviewers forget what they pay for such a place. 25 mins walk to the closest part of the beach. Also not a negative for us as we like walking.

You really are in the middle of the jungle! it’s a super unique location just below some cliffs, but it’s still close to the beach! the staff is seriously so friendly and nice and accommodating. they let me check in early free of charge and check out late (by one hour) also free of charge. they offer motorbike rentals which was super convenient and very fair priced at only 250 thb per day!

I have no complaints, it was what I expected. I opted for the cheapest option since I’m on a teachers salary, and it a non-air conditioned, basic room with one full size bed. They came and made up my bed fresh every day and gave new clean shower towels and 3 free water bottles every day.

the resort is in the middle of the jungle, top location, behind the huge cliff! very impressive and calm environment! the staff is super helpful and kind and just hanging by the pool with that surrounding was the perfect way to relax after (or before) busy aonang road!!

the rooms and entire place are a little worn out, wich you can't really see on the pictures, and the pool wasn't very clean. But if you don't mind it, it's a very beautiful and peaceful place and i would definitely recommend it. unfortunately at the beginning they only offered breakfast but later opened the kitchen also for lunch!

breakfast - terrible all food open no covers so crawling with flies and ants as the restaurant is outside. They had an egg station but the lady cooking the eggs had cooked a load of eggs up but again sat out on the side cold with no cover and flies stuck to them. So asked for a fresh one to be cooked so was wasting food, if you’re going to precook stuff keep it warm and have it covered. rooms could have been a little cleaner in places

We loved the setting of Aonang Cliff View Resort and the use of free shuttle service to beach during the day. Staff were friendly and helpful. We had the Triple room for 3 adults which, with breakfast included, was a reasonable price. Swimming pool looked good although we didn't get the chance to use it.

The room smelt damp when we arrived although it improved once we aired it. There was no safe but one was fitted on our 2nd day. The towels were very old and tatty, only 1 toilet roll was supplied at a time which meant we ran out twice, only 2 glasses and 2 cups supplied for triple room so had to request extra. All were such silly things but niggling none the less. It would have been better if the shuttle service could have continued into the evening after 6pm.

The hotel and property exceeded all expectations. The property is surrounded by jungle; the flora and fauna are spectacular and surrounds very well maintained. The staff are amazing with absolutely nothing being a problem. The little town of Ao Nang, including the beach, is within walking distance although the hotel operates a free hourly shuttle bus into town and has a good relationship with "tuk tuk" taxis so transport is no problem. "The Land of Smiles" is epitomised by the very friendly and welcoming staff at this hotel. This property is unbelievable value for money and without doubt or question, we will return.

The pillows on the bed. But all we did was ask for them to be replaced. Done! No problem!

Location! Every other negative aspect of the hotel was compensated by the location and staff ( especially the new girl on the reception). It was amazing to drink morning coffee and watch monkeys playing in the trees. The cliff view was breathing!! Wildlife coming into your room if you forget to close the door. Hot breakfast before we checked out early in the morning.

Rooms need updating 😩. Our bedding had staines and smelled quite badly. Terrace had cigarettes buts and was really dirty. My hubby found a brum, and I had a quick clean around, wiped everything, and it was "OK", our bedding was changed ( still didn't smell great, but it looked washed). Safe is just a box that can be moved. Not really complaining, people who worked there tried to do everything you asked for, and the nature around really made our stay unforgettable. Don't use gym or sauna 😅

Stayed for 7days. Nice atmosphere,if u love nature or you want peace and quite u should stay here. The staff were friendly and helpful. The only thing we were disappointed with was the tv. Booked 2 rooms,both tv's has no signal. The shows just frozed. But the wifi signal was strong. So decided to watch netflix on our own devices. They provide shuttle svc to aonang beach hourly. Last shuttle was at 6pm. Me and my family really enjoyed our stay. And it was a great experience... Thank you team ❤️

Location was fantastic. Being inside the jungle under the beautiful cliffs of ao nang is an experience not to be missed. Plenty of wildlife and incredible animals to see, I wont spoil it for you saying what animals I saw... but worth it! Free transfers to and from ao nang beach a lovely touch! Staff were lovely and helpful!

Breakfast was a little disappointing. If I'm being overly picky I'd say the resteraunt should have other meal options as well as breakfast as your about 20 min walk to town. Bed was a little stiff.

Lovely staff and lovely resort overall. The pool is lovely and refreshing with an occasional visit from the monkeys. There is a shuttle service to town available a few times a day and town is also a short 15 min walk away

Resort is slightly worn down and tired and could use a little re-fresh. Rooms were a little dusty and bedding wasn't changed during our stay. Rooms with a fan are too hot to stay in and have no plug sockets.
