The hotel itself was very nice. The room and bathroom were spacious, clean and comfortable. Breakfast was very good, continental and asian fare. There was always something for everyone's taste. The beach was clean and most days, you get the beach all to yourself with the occasional hotel guests strolling along the beach. If you want quiet, this location is great.

Not so nice if you want to go downtown. The nearest shops are quite a distance away. You'll need a transport. Walking isn't ideal because the road is windy and quite narrow, not to mention the heat. And since the hotel is rather secluded, you do not have much choice when it comes to restaurants. The food offered in and around the hotel was alright but you really pay touristy prices.

First of all, I would like to thank, by name, some of the resort staffs. Big thanks to Suwan, Dee, Kung, May and William, they made our stay special and perfect. What we like: 1- Check in and out were very good. 2- Room size was perfect. 3- Cleaning was superb. 4- Restaurant food was delicious and prices were reasonable. 5- Very welcoming staffs. 6- Beach was great.

What we don’t like: 1- Location was far from shops and taxis became expensive, and the resort more expensive!! 2- No fitness facilities and no activities. 3- There were some noises from other guests and the hotel did not take any action!! 4- Beach is not private.

Beach location is beautiful, clean and cool water. You can arrange most things from the resort, or vendors on the beach (boat trips, snorkelling, kayaking etc). Nice big trees on the beach provide shade through the day where you can laze on sun loungers. Some of our party were sick while we stayed, and cleaning was quick and efficient when we needed bed changes etc.

I had requested 2 single beds in one room upon booking and 1.5 months out from our stay. And then again 2 days before our stay. The room type booked, had 2 singles as an option that could be selected. However, they could not accommodate this request despite the many advance communications. There is a window when no food or drinks can be ordered at the hotel, around 10.30-11.30am (after breakfast and before the beach restaurant opens). I recommend dining at the resort next door, the food was delicious.

Worth the stay. The place was clean, stay for 5 days, they came cleaning everyday. The people were nice! The view from this room breathtaking! The thing that I love about this place is the breakfast 🥞! All sorts of breakfast! You don’t have to go out to get dinner or lunch, they have restaurant and even room service. A bit far from Ao nang beach. You need to take a taxi to go there but WORTH THE STAY. They provide free kayaking

The location was great. Away from the hustle and bustle of the busier tourist spots like Ao Nang but close enough to be a short taxi ride away if you want to go to the tourist attractions. Tup Kaek is right on the beach that is not busy with people, and has plenty sun loungers to relax on. The pool is amazing and our pool side villa was just perfect! The food, oh my, the food! The best curries we have ever had in our lives! Absolutely delicious. Breakfast was also great with an awesome morning view over the beach and ocean. Friendly staff as well. We will be going back!

Nothing to dislike

A five star resort, if like us you are 80 years old, who like nice things and good service. We were treated like royality and this was our third holiday there. Beach front rooms are the best with the views, breakfast was brilliant as Suwon looked after these two oldies, like he was their son. Reception provided golfcart transport to our hire car whenever requested and housekeeping did a great job keeping the room clean and sheet and towel changing every day, Some have moaned about the coffee and the boat noise, the coffee is great if like me you like it strong and the boat people have a living to make. All in all a fantastic place and I hope we are well enough to go again some time

Two complaints. One was the small pool, which unbeknown to us had been replaced by a larger pool. we were kooking forward to using ths pool but whoever designed it, never included a way of entry and exit suitable for old people. There was no hand rail, just steps under water. Totally useless for us, neither were there any hand rails upto and into the big pool, so we were disappointed not to have a swim. Handrails are important and there were other places they might have been put. Low cost items but so important to older people like us. The other gripe was the beach sunbeds, most seemed to be playgrounds for the sand ants. I think they should be sprayed, to keep the beds and tables free of the little blighters.

The garden bungalow was very spacious, clean, comfortable, pretty new furnitures. Right on the beach, equipment with beach bag and flip flops. The beach has comfortable sun beds and generally it’s very private and quiet beach. The big pool is also very nice for refreshing swims. The room cleaning ladies are very polite and kind. The pictures of the room are pretty accurate to how actually they look. The breakfast terrace has a nice view and food is good.

The sea was muddy, can’t see jellyfishes around you while swimming. And yes, it was so many ones. Bike rental partner company staff was not friendly and the prices for this service were high. Quite far from any towns. No grocery, massage, stores around this area.

The staff were very helpful and very polite.

The pool view room that had an open shower wasn’t very good during the rain (there was a lot of rain during my stay). It meant we had to shower in the rain and a large amount of rain water ran into the bathroom all the time. This meant we always had wet feet in the bathroom and the floor became very slippery. We were moved to another room as I was concerned about falling.

We booked a bungalow right at beachfront, which was wonderful! Nice comfortable room even with a outside shower and a nice „private“ terrace with 2 sunbeds.

The beach is nice but rather small. When low tide, it’s not ideal for swimming. Not too many opportunities around the hotel (a few restaurants), which didn’t bother us.
