The hotel has a perfect location - right next to 7/11 supermarket, cheap restaurants and around 8 minutes walking to the beach. It is not on a hill which is perfect, not like other hotels. The staff is absolutely awesome - the owner is kind, speaks great English and ready to help you with everything. Breakfast was good too, no buffet but you choose from options - it does not make you completely full but great to start the day. AC worked nicely. Balcony is very helpful. You can wash your clothes for a nice price.

The water in the sink did not flow away properly. The cleaning service was a bit slow - only after some days they threw away the trash. There was also some rubbish in the drawers after previous guests. The bed was quite hard.

Loved how spacious the room was for its low cost. It was so close to the beach and it had so many amenities like a hair dryer, a toaster, a refrigerator and freezer, etc. The room felt homey and not temporary like most hotels. The safe made me feel comfortable and well taken care of. They were so friendly! The breakfast was delicious too.

One of the soaps provided to me had a hair on it which made me feel a bit uncomfortable. Also I wish they changed out my towel more often because of how much swimming and showering I was doing. It wasn’t changed for the three nights I was there. Overall, the pros far outweighed the cons.

Great hosts. Comfortable & secure self contained apartment on ground floor with patio to shield from the torrential rain & weather. Good filling breakfast offered until midday. Large fridge, kettle & microwave including utensils provided. Host went out of way to accommodate all my requests. Due to being extremely quiet their restaurant was closed for lunch & dinner, but there were so many tasty options within 5 minutes walking distance. Convenience stores, banks & shopping within 3 minutes walk. 5 minutes walk to the beach.

TV reception did not work very well, but that did not bother me at all. Humidity in Phuket.

Staff were super enthusiastic and helpful. Our room was upgraded owing to low season in Phuket. Great value and highly recommended.

Nothing. If you’re coming to Phuket for resort leisure, maybe this property does not match your expectations; but if you’re coming for islands hopping and Phuket explorations, this property is possibly what you would like to stay in.

A had a lovely stay at Sala Bua, the room was clean and comfortable, the owners were kind, the breakfast was really good, I liked the Phuket breakfast and plenty of vegetarian options in the restaurant. The wifi worked well. Also, the location is ideal, 5 minute walk to Karon beach and 2 minute walk to 7-11. If you're looking for a friendly, comfortable and affordable stay near Karon beach I highly recommend Sala Bua Rooms, their restaurant is great too!

The room was clean and comfortable in an excellent location. The host and his team/family were absolutely exceptional and the service we received was the best we have ever had. The breakfast was good, water in the room each day was massively appreciated. Overall value for money was excellent. I would return if in Phuket again!

We were very happy, but to make our stay more comfortable we would have liked hand towels and maybe another larger mirror.

Firstly need to mention very nice and helpfull personnel and tasty breakfast! Pretty big room with all nessesary things like kettle, microwave, fridge, knife, forks, cups, air conditioner and TV. Food minimarket is in 2 mins walk and beach is in 10 mins walk. Hot water in shower, rather big and comfortable bed.

It is all not actualy hotel problems but need to know that: -During the night very loud music is playing in some bar next door, so if sound bother you to fall asleep will be a problem. -Mosquitoes. Dozens of them, even if the balcony 100% of time is closed! Take some repellent or smth else to avoid night fights with insects.

This place is just amazing. I have stayed in many budget accommodations in Asia but this one is surely one of the best. First of all, Thep and Ion are just some of the most wonderful hosts I've ever encountered. They are so kind, and smiling and professional. I felt so welcome there and each day when they greeted me with smile was so genuine. The breakfast was amazing too. And the room? Absolutely amazing. I never had to ask for anything.

TV didn't work. It's not a big deal but as a solo traveller I do welcome the opportunity to watch TV sometimes, especially if it's a long stay. But I found my way around it and it didn't matter in the end.

We really enjoyed our stay at Sala Bua Room. The staff were all very attentive and helpful. Our room was well equipped, clean and comfortable. The breakfast each day was tasty and filling. The room was in an excellent location- restaurants, shops and the beautiful beach are all close by. We ate at the restaurant just across the street which is run by the owners of the rooms and the service and food were excellent.

A lovely hotel close to the beach (5 minutes) with very friendly staff, amazing breakfast served in the restaurant opposite (also run by the owners) and a good sized room. The restaurant was delicious for dinner too - we recommend the homemade chicken green Thai curry! Many convenience shops, bars, restaurants and beach stalls close by. Only a 10 minute walk to the southern point of Karon beach where you can see lots of underwater life with goggles/mask. About 30 minute walk to the main Karon town centre - paved all the way and runs along the beach. About 20 minute walk into Kata town.

It was a bit humid in the room in the evening despite the air conditioning but it was otherwise very comfortable.
