The hotel is excellent and very special.. next to the sea and the required services such as restaurants, market, and all the required shops. The reception staff were at the top of sophistication and kindness, and their service was amazing , as they provided us a motorbike for rent and helped us with all our needs. The hotel staff is very kind and helpful. They always welcome and provide assistance if we ask for it, and the rooms are beautiful, the view of the pool and the sea is stunning, and the breakfast buffet was wonderful ... I cannot describe this hotel, and I will book it in my future trips

It was a beautiful experience. Our 1st time in Phuket. And Avista together with its staff made it extra special. It was a 5oth birthday celebration to remember.

The rooms are spacious and very neat. Hotel facilities are wonderful, restaurant options are nice. Good huge swimming pool, could get busy so make sure you reserve yourself a good sun bed early morning. Breakfast buffet was reallllly good, just make sure you go there wearing something you don’t mind getting the smell of food stuck on. The staff are beyond nice they will make all your needs come true. I loved the stay.. overall was a really good experience.

Not a beach front resort - you’ll have to cross the road to get there, and pay money for renting sun beds as well. Location: would’ve been great if this place was somewhere in the center beach of Karon instead the edge.. you’ll have to walk at least 10 mins to the nearest supermarket, restaurant, etc.. 5 stars prices: either at the restaurant or spa .. they know they have good service and you’ll have to pay for it. having said all this, I still truly enjoyed my stay here !

Fabulous hotel, amazing staff and a very wonderful experience. Food was very good, breakfast was well stocked and had a great selection. We were well looked after every day by Trish - who also served delicious cocktails every evening on the roof top bar. Our room was excellent, large, very comfortable and very clean. It had a lovely balcony and seaview from the 5th floor. Our room attendant was fantastic - Biw works very hard every day to keep the rooms clean and well stocked. We loved this hotel. Everything about it was great - the swimming pool and the restaurants. We ate dinner in the main restaurant once and had a mix of Thai and Spanish food - lovely. We also ate with our "feet in swimming pool" at the beautiful grill restaurant. We enjoyed a great steak whilst watching the live fire dancers on Friday night. Great location. Easy to walk into Kata beach or Karon beach. A nice massage place just outside - much quieter than the ones in town / great massage! Highly recommended! Thank you. We shall definitely return if we ever come to Phuket again.

The highlight was the room/resort design, ambient lighting control, in-house restaurant, staff friendliness/skills/professionalism, small details that made my stay perfect! Reception team were world-class! Other features that made my stay amazing: double size balcony with views of the ocean and sunset (you have to pay more for this type of room), the bathroom was super modern and luxurious, nicely equipped gym, staff to guest ratio was high (everyone was either cleaning or greeting guests).

Soundproofing could have been better (but not sure how you can change that now), as you can hear the foot stomps of other guests, the echoes in the hallways, quite loud housekeeping staff. I had to wear earplugs. Also, other guests were a bit trashy: some drunk Aussies disturbing other guests. Loud families who didn't understand resort etiquette. Again, hard to police that as a hotel. Finally, dear future guests: please don't wear beach clothing to the restaurant, don't be greedy at the buffet breakfast, speak in a manner that doesn't affect other guests eg volume/noise, don't behave like it's a hostel. Class doesn't cost a thing, so please respect the resort and others.

Nice hotel grounds with a great pool and good restaurants and bars. Close to an OK beach and not too far from other attractions. Personel was polite and generally efficient.

More of a 4 star in terms of service (cleaning the room took ages, you had to chase pool towels etc). Food was a bit hit and miss.

Everything was up to the standard I'd expect from 5 stars. Great room, spacious and clean. We had 0 insect trouble. Bed comfy. Shower pressure ok, nice assortment of complimentary goodies. Pool nice and clean. Staff friendly and helpful. The hotel seems well-maintained, you could always see somebody fixing or cleaning something. One beach is two minutes away, one a 15 minute walk away. Be aware that Phuket beaches have dangers (rip currents). Particularly liked the breakfast, with an egg/omelette station, and a really good selection of warm and cold dishes. Hotel restaurant was good as well and not overpriced. When you arrive at the airport, be aware of scammers targeting people going to upper range hotels. There's a "smart bus" stop very close, the ride is 100 baht per person.

Constant music from pool bar and rooftop bar until late in the evening. On Saturday, you also hear a nearby club until late, but thankfully not during weekdays.

The pool area is just amazing, also very friendly staff at the reception and all around the hotel, special thanks to Mr. Mathew who arranged a birthday compliment cake to our room. Will definitely visit again with kids.

Fantastic hotel, fantastic service and fantastic facilities. Breakfast is amazing featuring traditional and western options. The pool is great with a pool bar too. There is a very nice and professional spa in the resort. The staff were by far the best, very friendly and very accommodating. Location is very close to the beach and very close to food options nearby and markets. Definitely would come again!

Nothing much! May be a bit more expensive than some places however compared to other deluxe resorts, this was very reasonably priced for everything included in the hotel.

The pool area is really beautiful, with lovely magnolia trees carefully planted around the pool to provide natural shade. The buffet breakfast was absolutely phenomenal. What set this hotel apart from others was the huge selection of premium items - whether it was Bircher muesli, delicious pork sausages, fresh loaves of bread or the juice press that provided fresh carrot or beet juice! In the evening the restaurant also shined - I needed a break from Thai cuisine and they baked a delicious salmon fillet which was cooked perfectly! Last but not least, I really enjoyed the Pearl spa! They had many special offers, some more than 50% off and the treatments were very professional. Yes, you’re paying more than a street massage (I had a 90 min Thai massage) but I would much rather have a massage in a clean, private and luxurious spa than some random storefront in an alley. Massage was so good I came back to the hotel the following week for another one!
