The owners and the staff of Palmview are absolutely amazing, they were the sweetest most helpful people and they really made our stay! Even taking us to the bus station when our taxi didn’t come, genuinely lovely people :)

This is a really friendly and lovely place to stay. The location is great, a short walk through the back to the main road and entrance to national park. Its so peaceful and lovely. The staff are incredibly friendly, and very welcoming, helping you with anything you need. The room is basic but nice. Ideal spot to do tours from and good value for money.

The breakfast was not good. I think the tours are a mixed bag. We did the two day lake tour which was great but could have lived without Night Safari. I think if you know Thailand and tours then you probably know what to expect. If you're just going to do one I would go with the Lake.

From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with warm smiles that made us feel right at home. The owners and their family were incredibly kind, polite, and always willing to help. Our room was spacious, and the beds were very comfortable. The town itself is charming and has all the essentials a visitor might need, like mini-marts and restaurants. On our last day, we unfortunately missed our coach, but the owner went out of their way to help us book a new one and even drove us to the bus station. We truly enjoyed our stay. My kids especially loved the table tennis table, and the location was ideal, with plenty of wildlife to spot in the area. Thank you for a fantastic stay—I’d highly recommend this place to others!

Nothing not to like

Top location in a wonderful palm forest. We arrived at 5:30 am and were greeted by our friendly host. The rooms are functional, some of them don't have AC, but all are well equipped with mosquito nets, fans, and a terrace/balcony to enjoy the beautiful view. If you are lucky, you can spot monkeys in the nearby palm trees. Breakfast and hot meals are served throughout the day and are very tasty! The owner and staff are very very friendly and help with every question or tour reservation. It's a 10 minute walk to the main street with restaurants and shops, and a 15 minute walkt to the entrace of the National Park. We enjoyed our stay very much and would always come back and recommend!

Kong and his family were great hosts. Even before our arrival, Kong provided us with all the information and helped us book a two-day trip at the bungalows on the lake. Sleeping at Khaosok Palmview resort was a special experience, as the rooms (bungalows) are surrounded by palm trees, where there are lots of animals (in the morning we were woken up by monkeys jumping on the palm trees). The rooms are large and clean. There is a shortcut through the forest from the bungalows to the town. After finishing the two-day trip on the lake, Kong helped us organize transportation to Krabi town. We waited for the transportation at the resort, where they have a corner with loungers at the reception. The food at the resort is excellent and affordable.

Lovely peaceful site at the edge of the National Park. Owned and managed by a friendly and welcoming couple that helped us organize activities with local guides (we would highly recommend hiking through the park, both during the day and night). There is a shortcut to the main road that reaches the village and national park in about 5 minutes, much shorter than how it appears on maps. A surprise visit by macaques during our last morning was a nice bonus :)

The lack of AC makes staying in the room during a hot day quite uncomfortable, but that's an extra reason to spend the day in the park. In the night, the fans are more than enough to keep the room comfortably cool.

Once we found out about the shortcut to town, it was close to town. The cabins were comfortable but basic which is all you need in the national park. I was lucky enough to stay in two different cabins. There are air con options but have to book in early and may only be for two people. Would need to inquire there are more cabins for more people with air cons. There are fans in every cabin. Kong & Jeab are very friendly and welcoming and would highly recommend staying here at their resort. Family run. Always helpful as well. Great place to also see nature and the monkeys in the trees.

Beds a little firmer than used to but was still OK.

Amazing place to stay! The staff were really accommodating and welcoming. The room was lovely, the fan was powerful and kept the room cool and the mosquito net above the bed kept us free from bites. The resort is beautiful with lots of animals wandering around, we were able to watch a group of wild monkeys in one of the trees! There is a really nice restaurant onsite which is good value for money and the accommodation is only a short walk from the Main Street. Would definitely recommend staying here, we loved it!

Absolutely amazing place. As everyone already mentioned the owners are heartwarming and passionate about what they are doing. You feel like at home here. They say in advance that the hotel is not a Hilton but places like this stay in memory forever. On top our pick up didn't show up and the owners were able to help us organising a transport. They called a bus which was already 4 km away from Khao Sok to pick us up so we don't have to wait 6h for next transport. They saved our holidays and this kindness you can expect while visiting the place. On top delicious food especially lunch/dinner offer I felt in love on in your noodle soup

Think about extending breakfast with the sandwiches from lunch. I think many Europeans would appreciate it

The people who run the resort are wonderful. Friendly, helpful, and fun. I want them to adopt me as their Auntie. The resort is right next to the national park, so it's surrounded by jungle. The bungalow i chose was their more basic one but had everything I needed. It was beautifully done and felt very homely. The food they serve is delicious. They are helpful in arranging trips. They have the fluffiest dog and some cute cats, chickens, and geese. From their comfy lounge area, you can watch butterflies dragonflies, birds, frogs, and toads around the pond. The resort is very convenient for access to the village... especially when the owners tell you the short cut! I did not want to leave.
