At River Lodge our room was spacious and it was clean. The river runs up one side of the hotel and we were lucky as we had a room with a great view over the river from our balcony. The staff were all very welcoming and helpful, they served a good breakfast and sorted out trips and transfers etc for us. Thankyou to everyone, We loved our 3 night stay so close to the national park. We enjoyed a day trip to the lake organised easily at the hotel's reception and also spent a day independent walking in the lush green forest to small waterfalls. I highly recommend spending a few days here.

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel. Our room was spacious and clean with a nice view of the river that runs along side it where you can kayak and tube down, which looked fun. The beds in the room were comfortable and the black out curtains helped create a great nights sleep. There was also air con in the room. The staff were incredible and kind. They organised our day trip to the national park and provided us with a dry bag which included towels, waters and head torches. It was very straightforward and easy. The breakfast was basic but very tasty. The town itself is lovely and very relaxed, there's a handful of bars and restaurants to visit all in a short walking distance.

Excellent breakfast and staff were friendly, knowledgable and helpful. Most of our arrangments were made through Betty, who was professional, prsonable and efficient. The location allowed us a beautiful view of the river and easy access to the National Park

The music in the restaurant was rather repetitive and intrusive

We (a couple) stayed here for four nights. We only slept and took breakfast, because here in Khao Sok you have a lot of things to do during a day! The staff is very friendly. No problems with cleaning: every evening we returned to the cleaned room with new towels, soap, sheets etc. AC worked, although we usually turned it off after one hour because it was a little bit chilly during nights. The fridge, the bed, the shower were all ok. We didn't use the TV so cannot say anything about it. The breakfast was nice and varied from day to day a little. They served rice, noodle, vegetables, toasts, tea, coffie, juice, fried eggs, sausages, ham, fruites and, sometimes, soups - always had something to choose from. The price is aligned with the rest of the hotels in Khao Sok. Great place overall! PS: the restaurant has view on the river and one day we spotted a group of macaques on the opposite side of the river!

the rooms on the river have little balconies which are excellent to relax and listen to the water gushing by. The rooms are really comfortable with simple touches which make them quite charming. Staff super friendly. Tubing great fun.

Rooms not on river overlook a bit of a building site so try and avoid those. Breakfast is uninspiring. This maybe the same for all Lake tours but the one we booked through hotel was underwhelming. Accommodation basic, food poor and under 24 hours actually on the Lake area (11 to 11) for 3700 bht pp.

Very nice hotel placed almost in the jungle. Big rooms. Friendly staff, they organize the trips to the national park. A quiet and peaceful place. Close to the shops or restaurants. They give you free water every day. AC working well.

Breakfast could be better. The houses are not hermetic so you can expect some ants or lizards in the room. Mosquito net has some holes. Bathroom also could be improved.

Clean, spacious and well maintained. Beds were very good. Friendly stuff. Breakfast was good. It felt like we are in tree house. Excellent view from our balcony. Little river and forest view right across with monkeys always roaming on other side. We liked it so much we ended up extending our stay. One of our favourite places in Thailand so far.

They have safe boxes near reception but id prefer having one in the room.

Wow, the location RIGHT next to the river is so beautiful and serene. We could see monkeys right from our balcony. The convenience of having a restaurant on property and many more nearby is great. We slept well and the bungalow is very comfortable. We also love that the staff is always friendly and will help you reserve activities and tours to make sure you have a great time in Khao Sok.

Everything is excellent!

During the jungle hike in the national park I grabbed a branch of thorns, which were all stuck in my hand. When I showed it to the front desk lady, she immediately responded and brought together a bunch of employees and materials to help me! They worked for at least 30 minutes to get all the thorns out! Besides that the room was very nice and had a nice river view.

Good to know that there is no shuttle to the busstop, so either get a private transfer or organize it with the bus company in advance.

This place is really a lovely stay. we were in cabin #7 with a lovely river view. the room itself is perfect. i am a backpacker and have been traveling over 1 year and this is the nicest place ive stayed overall. they even have it down to all the little details being just perfect!

truly nothing bad to report on this place. highly recommend!
