It's super clean and neat, perfect location and comfy bed. The first day I came, the receptionist woman was so supportive and happy. The 2nd day, the receptionist guy was super helpful when I need his help to wake me up in the morning. His English was not so good but he super super nice. Kudos to 2 of them and so thankful for your help in my trip. The hostel got all the precious small thing like: umbrella, inforgraphic letter, earbud and all other things. Recommended for solo travelling with the party passionate like me! Definitely choose this place for the next time!!

It's spotless! Very quiet hostel (if you're looking to party and socialise, don't come here), I slept very well in the female dorm. Bathrooms are cleaned very regularly. It's a less than 10-minute walk to the MRT and the BTS, and Silom Complex.. You have a 7-Eleven just next door as well. Staff is quiet but very helpful and kind. Tea, coffee, water and biscuits are complimentary. There's a small fridge to store your food while you're there.

It'd be great if they could repair the door of the female bathroom... Other than that, I have no complaints :)

The location, very near to the main road and the bts, 5-10 mins walking to the malls and shopping center. spotless clean, free water and tea coffees, has a laundry room, spacious, the soap in the shower was the best, the owner was so pleasant and helpful in many ways

I thought about the lower bed was great until i realized there was some space in the curtain that makes someone from the upper bed actually see people in lower bed. Luckily I got the upper one. Privacy is still important especially if living with strangers. I thought it had a roof top, i messed up with another hostel, yet it's okay. Only would be cooler with a roof top.

Lovely hosts they help me so much in everything, perfect location close to all the transportation, very safe and super clean, quite place and you everything you need in 10 minutes walking! Thank you again :)

Bargain priced hostel in a convenient location. We were spending just two nights on our way back from Thailand's islands before heading home. We chose it mainly for the low price and convenient transfer from Ekkamai bus terminus. We didn't realise there was a lot of sex industry in the area but actually this street is very quiet and we felt safe around the whole area. We were perfectly comfortable going to the nearby night market for dinner and politely declining the multitudes showing 'sex menus' in the street was not really problematic. Always felt safe and comfortable. Staff very helpful and friendly. There are a lot of traditional Thai massage parlours in the area which was good. Hot drinking water available any time and free tea and coffee 8am-11pm. Microwave too. Hostel was quiet and civilised with a whole range of ages of people staying. For the price and convenience we would be happy to stay again.

Could be improved with some cooking facilities. But there is plenty of very cheap food around and staff will helpfully recommend places to go. Shower curtain would be useful (we were with private bathroom, I assume shared showers have curtains!). As you can see these are only minor niggles and should not deter anyone from staying here.

The staff were very nice and friendly. Free tea, coffee and water is available throughout the day. Free towels. Plus the locker are really big: enough to get big suitcases/rucksacks in and more. The beds are spacious. The hostel is conveniently located in the Japanese area of Bangkok and not far from the BTS. The rooms are cleaned well and the floors are mopped and cleaned everyday, including in the rooms. The bathrooms are spotless as well. It isn't highy social but it dies somehow feel like a home away from home, probably because the staff are so lovely.

Perhaps an extra plug socket near the beds would be good as there is only one. I was in room 1, and the air conditioning is a little loud but nothing too bad. For those whole need softer beds, this hostel may not suit your needs as they are a little harder. I had no problem with this, however.

- One of the cleanest hostels I have ever stayed in. The staff keeps the place clean the entire day and not just at the beginning of the day. - There's complimentary tea and coffee in the lobby with a microwave and a refrigerator for use - The staff is very knowledgeable about the place from vegetarian food options to public transport usage. I trusted their advice. - They go over and beyond to support guests with travel. I had my train and bus tickets booked by them. - There's luggage storage available - Washrooms are outside the room and super clean throughout the day (Separate washroom for women available) - Strong wifi across all floors - Great location, very close to BTS, MRT, and bus stop.

I wish check-in time could be flexible. I understand it's a downside (for guests) of a very systematic approach which otherwise works brilliantly well.

I was REALLY surprised with how clean was this hostel. You have to take off your shoes before going upstairs to the rooms and at first I was sceptical about this, but the floors were very clean, the same goes for bathrooms. I stayed on girls-only floor. The AC works the whole day and beds are comfy, I slept very well. I also really liked the location, it’s very close to all central attractions and there are many restaurants and street food stalls around. The staff are cuties. Keep shining!

The smell downstairs was a bit unpleasant in the morning, probably because of all these shoes :)

We‘ve really enjoyed our stay in the Ekanek hostel! It‘s located near Lumphini Park and there‘s a big street market around the corner, so there‘s lots to see. You‘ve also got a few metro stations nearby so the location is ideal to explore the city! The furnishing of our room was quite simple (no TV etc.) but we didn‘t miss a thing. It was also very clean and the air con helped us to bear the heat of the city. The staff was always super nice and helpful, we were also able to store our luggage in the hostel for quite a few hours after checking out.

Be aware that there‘s no TV etc, for us it wasn‘t a problem at all!

I like that beside the bed there's still lots of spaces to put small personal stuff. And there's a privacy curtain, the facilities and wifi and common areas are all good..most importantly, it's the staff who are so friendly and helpful to me. Because of the staff ， my trip was better :)

Nothing about the hostel. Just let people know that the next street is red light district with lots of "shows", and another street is a busy food market and shops. Lots of tourists. But I didn't feel unsafe at all, it's safe!
