Overall solid place. Location is pretty good, walking distance to city center. Some nice local food joints around. I was working remotely and can verify that wifi in room (most away room in the hotel) was sufficient for online meetings with camera. Even streaming (netflix) had no issues. Good breakfast with a lot of different dishes. Very pleasent to talk to staff, they were extremly helpfull. Overall pleasant experiance!

Please be aware its a rather noisy neighbourhood. The family room in which I had my stay had issues with windows, basicly on a heavy rain the room had quite some water leaks, towels were neccesery to stop overfloding. However the staff were very helpfull and offered discount for the room due to insufficient room quality. Pool couldve been cleaner ( quite some algea)

Easy reachable by bus/boat/taxi, 7/11 3 min walking distance, pretty much silent neighborhood. Staff is friendly, always smiling and willing to help. Rooms are good, with comfy beds. Bathrobes added extra comfort. Pool is nice and empty most of the time. Really great breakfast. Vegetables, sausages, ham, fried rice, noodles, eggs, omlette, some sort of meat, watermelon, tea/coffe/juice, cereal and toasts. They always change something every day, which is great.

For me, the pillow was too high, but it's very specific. AC is noisy. For us it sounded like a snow storm back home, so it actually helped us to fall asleep. You can not have VERY hot water in the shower, but wasn't a problem for us.

The staff is very friendly! Towels for swimming. Good breakfast. A indoor small playground for young kids

The neighborhood is a bit poor, so don’t expect a nice view from out of your window but we liked that aswell. You can watch the Thai people in their daily routine

Clean room, friendly staff, spacious living room within the room to put the luggage because without that having only the room wouldn't have space for luggage. It had some gym equipment Pool was clean and pretty. Area was ok to walk to Khaosand and temples 10-30 minutes. Breakfast was basic, fruit, Thai food, salad, some bread and spreads, eggs. Enough to eat something to start the day. Comfy bed Area around hotel is not wow but you can see how people live and go around little streets which is OK. You can walk around the riverside, very close to hotel. Some markets for locals in the nearby area too. Not a modern area but interesting.

I wanted a room looking at the pool but I got top floor so the view was the city but not a nice view so we kept curtains closed always. Gym space is not clean and tidy, I mean is only some dumbells, bar, bench and a machine for multiple exercises but it was dusty. Could have been tidy every day to keep it clean. I thought staying in phuket was going to be more expensive but I paid more for this hotel (4 nights) than for the hotel in phuket in front of the beach (5 nights) so price/value is not great. The room kind of vibrated sometimes which made me awake but the bed was comfy.

The staff were amazing! They were professional, kind, sweet, caring and the service was outstanding. All staff always smiled, and they were available for to accommodate any requests. They booked a Dinner/River cruise for us, and they upgraded the ticket, to the top floor on the boat, with spectacular views of the city!

We had to move to another Hotel, due to an electrical fire, on our floor, to stay safe. The staff handled the situation with such ease, and they did all they could, to make sure we were comfortable in the other Hotel, so this is not a complaint, it's an acknowledgement of their professionalism. May and all other staff really are awesome! I would stay at Pecae Land again, in a heartbeat!

The hotel is located nearly close to the old town and 15mins by walk from the famous Khaosan Road. Generally it is calm in the evenings for sleep. The breakfast is more less the same every day but it is good enough. The beds are ok to sleep but not that comfortable. The staff is generally kind (except 1 guy who is staying night shift, not so polite..).

Please give to that guy of the night shift a good lesson on how to behave with the guests. The hotel looks like into the "ghetto" in US, and you can see another reality of life while getting to the hotel, but they are all good people.. The room doesn't have a balcony which is a big minus for us. Smoke of marihuana almost everywhere but that is the reality especially in Bangkok.

The rooms are really big, the staff there are very nice and the pool is also clean and very convenient (you also can borrow for free pool towels which is nice). The location is convenient as we could walk anywhere (20 mins to The Grand Palace). On the other hand the hotel is situated in an interesting area with narrow allies. But the people who live there are very nice so it's fine :) We would book this hotel again:) The thing which we had an issue with were really just small details.

Breakfast is good but they stopped the refills too soon like an hour before the end. We also missed cheese at the breakfast. Our bedsheets had spots but that seems to be the standard for Asia... No conditioner provided, only shampoo and body wash.

Fantastic location. Amongst busy clean backstreets of Bangkok with lots to do.

Peace Land Khaosan is a very nice hotel a little out of the touristic centre of Bangkok which helps to make it really a peace land. The hotel has a very pleasant design, the rooms have good sound isolation, so it's always quiet in your room. Breakfast options are good and the selection of foods vary from day to day, so even spending there 7 days, I never got bored with the food. It also has a very nice little pool and gym. Your room is cleaned only when you request it which is a very reasonable and environment-friendly policy. Also, for me, a big bonus was that they actually allow you to use an iron and ironing board in your room for free whereas most hotels in SE Asia try to sell you the ironing service for extra charge. Also, the staff was very good, friendly, and with a good sense of humour.

There's really nothing unpleasant about this hotel. The location is not the most central but I knew it and selected the hotel exactly on this reason. And still, everything you need to visit in the centre of Bangkok is still in walking distance.
