the property is well maintained. the room was spacious, the bathroom was big, good shower with hot water and good power. I was left clean towels every day and a bottle of water ! the bed was comfortable and everything was clean. the staff were more than helpful. they booked two tours for me which were amazing. I would recommend booking the train and floating market tour with them with the boat ride to see the fire flies as well as the day trip to Attyhaya. an incredible experience! the staff were so so nice, and the breakfast included was delicious ! the location is excellent, only about ten minute walk to the Main Street and markets. I felt safe walking alone to and from the hotel on my own. as a female solo traveller I would recommend here highly. the price was great and also it was super quiet so you get good rest as you need it with the heat and after touring around. definitely recommend!!

I sleep here several times in the last 7 years. It's a family business and the stuff is nice. I like the neighborhood and the size of the room. The room has TV and fridge, the give you a bottle of water every day and clean the room. Its a good place for a very razonable price.

The breakfast change after the Covid and now it's just thai breakfast: noodle soap, rice chicken and things like that. Before was a buffet with fruit, toast, eggs (and thai food too). Maybe is only until the tourism came to normal. No elevator, but they have a small elevator for your luggage (important if you are in the level 5).

This budget hotel is perfect. Everything a traveller needs is provided. Breakfast has only one choice, chicken with rice and egg and it is delicious!

I saw a guest fill her private bottle with the water that was provided at breakfast. A bottle water costs 10 baht. That is 30 cents. How cheap can a guest be! I apologise to the hotel for the behaviour of that other guest.

The room was well appointed with a refrigerator, a rack with hangers for clothes and a surface for placing items, and a desk with chair. The electrical outlets were well positioned. There was also a drying rack on the balcony for your clothes. There was no kettle in the room, but there was on the first floor with hot beverage mixes and tea. The room was true to the pictures posted on Booking. The funny thing is that I almost didn't book there because I thought the room looked a bit cramped in the photos, but actually the room was plenty big - about 50% larger than the impression I got from the photos. The air conditioner worked OK. The room was made up every day. They would give two (usually) bottles of water every day. The breakfasts were spectacular.

Perfect place, super clean, room service everyday. Even when you put do not disturb sign out of the door, the staff still delivers you clean towels,bottles of water and toilet paper every single day!good Thai breakfast in the morning, perfect location 10mins from Khaosan road and close to many nice restaurants. Room spacious and very comfortable with good Aircon and big balcony, we will return for sure! Super good value for money!

Maybe the only downside for someone could be that the private bathroom inside the room doesn't have a door but only a curtain, but it wasn't a big issue for us at all. Also there is no elevator, only luggage lift, so that may be a problem for someone since hotel has at least 5 floors. Otherwise everything else was perfect!

Great location near Sansen Rd. and Koasan Market. The Roof View is between 2 Buddhist temples. This is an older dated building but it has all the amenities in the rooms and includes a good breakfast, a good place to meet fellow travelers. Additionally the rooms are large with a small balcony and clothes drying rack; everything is clean and functions well. I found to be convenient and affordable. The hotel is owned by a dear elder lady with great life experience, if you see her reading or entering Rm. 101 introduce yourself; we had a great conversation, you may too.

The property is neither new nor recently updated, I liked it but if you like bright modern decor look elsewhere.

Location is great and very clean as well. Breakfast is Thai but also delicious and it's not the same everyday. It's very good for value. I'd recommend it.

Maybe to say something, it has 4-5 floors and no lift, although it has a small lift to bring your luggage upstairs so you don't have to carry the weight all the way up. For me it's not a bag thing to walk up 4 floors but maybe for someone it's a problem.

First of all, very decent staffs, looks like a family running the hotel. And they have served breakfast also, which is great for me since my first day looking for morning food. And also the bus and store things, they are excellent in guiding me tips, has to give their point for the instruction! My room is 3 beds type of room (1 twin 1 single). Room was nice. Big balcony, I like it. They even cleaned the room when I was going to Phuket. Amazing.

A/C seems to active slowly till that the room is super hot.

Really enjoyed my stay here — would definitely stay again if I’m ever in Bangkok again. The room was quite spacious and had everything I needed, including a handy drying rack plus a little balcony to put it on so that my clothes dried even faster outside. Great value for money, lots of great little restaurants nearby, and the street it’s on is very quiet and I liked how it seemed to be more of a locals area, as well. The breakfast was also really good and they had a vegetarian option! I’d like to call out in particular how incredibly nice and helpful the front desk staff were when the tour I was on ran late and so made it so that I would not be back in time for check out. I was in a huge panic as they had to turn over the room for a new guest, and my things were still all over the room. I called them to explain and they very kindly packed my things up and brought them down to the front desk for me which was a huge lifesaver as I had to rush off to the airport from there. So it was this little extra bit of support offered that really made the difference, so I can’t recommend this hotel enough!
