Staff is exceptional, as is the location. Beds are great, very comfortable. That can be a big thing here. Some beds in Thai hotels can be a bit on the firm side... like sleeping on a slab of concrete...but the beds here are top rate. The place is a bit older now and has many of luxury amenaties popular in the 90s or so... phone in the toilet, a somewhat novel electronically controlled Do Not Disturb sign on the door, etc.)... so it is a bit of a time warp. Oh, the Mexican restaurant on the 4th floor by the pool on the 4th floor, has authentic Mexican (a favorite of mine) food with an interesting and fun floor show. We stayed only one night but were very pleased with the experience.

The breakfast are always superbly presented, the chefs always do a fantastic job in preparing a wide and delicious range of food types. The Reception staff are always so helpful and friendly its always a joy to stay at the Rembrandt Hotel. The location is great, but more promotion for use of the Tuk Tuk to Asok BTS station would be helpful.

All good, I'm very happy and I look forward to staying at the Rembrandt again in a few months time.

Service was impressive. Staff were all extremely helpful. Though we stayed for a night, they gave us 2hrs for a late checkout. Bell at the concierge helped us arrange for a taxi to the airport in the evening and helped us store our luggage till we needed to depart. Room was huge and clean. The hotel is a little dated but its ok. We slept really well. Around dinner time as we were about to head out, they offered delicious snacks to promo their Indian and Mexican restaurants. Location is on soi18. Really convenient to walk to Asok BTS & suhumvit MRT, terminal 21 (around 8mins). It's on the good soi of asok area and not on the cringey part of the street. The massage place directly in front of the hotel is excellent too.

It is an old hotel, an old dame restored. The carpet can come across as dated and they sprayed really strong air freshener in the room which was too much for my nose. So I had to air the room a little. It's a pity we stayed only 1 night.

Spacious rooms, good location, and although I did not need them, there seems to be a lot of facilities and services that you can enjoy like the pool, bar, restaurant and taxi/laundry.

Housekeeping was rather pushy about trying to enter my room even though I explained calmly a couple times that I just didn't need anything (since I spend little time in the room and there wasn't really anything to clean up). Maybe they get paid per room they work on, I don't know. A bidet or hose in the bathroom would have been nice. Every Thai place I have stayed has one and it's really convenient.

We had a wonderful stay at Rembrandt hotel for our honeymoon in May 2023! They were kind enough to upgrade our room, and the service was always friendly and professional. We didn’t eat at the hotel as we wanted to explore all of what Bangkok had to offer, but the location was perfect to do exactly that. We did have a few drinks on the rooftop bar however, and would highly recommend as the views are specular, service was impeccable and the drinks were delicious! We didn’t expect to want a pool but the fact the hotel had one was also a godsend, very much needed for a Brit in the sun and humidity! Excellent value for money and perfectly placed to experience Bangkok at ease, highly recommend.

I booked a hotel 2 weeks ahead before my trip, which is a hotel that I stayed few times before. I arrived at around 11am and noticed the size of the hotel have been downsized to half. This does not matter, and I also understand that the check in time is 2-3pm but I cannot stand the black faces from the front desk people, saying "Sorry, no room yet and not sure when can get you a room" and asked me to wait. Immediately I decided to cancel the hotel, by paying the penalty, and look for another one at booking.com. Booked Rembrandt and called a grab car to the new hotel. The bell boys were so busy during my first step into the hotel, I pushed the door myself with my luggage, and the front desk girl "Kim" ran towards me at the door and kept on apologize, saying "sorry for you to push and open the door yourself, bell boys are so busy", This gave me a very good first impression about the hotel. Later I noticed all the front desk staff, concierge and the bell boys are so polite and always have their smile on their faces thru-out my stay. Breakfast is good and the staff will act to your need very fast.

The soundproof of the room is not that good. Still can hear the noise from outside when people talk and run. The welcome drink is just soft drinks like sprite or coke, no juices. I expect.to have some special cocktail. It does not need to be expensive drink and good enough to represent the hotel or Bangkok.

A good area in Sukhumvit, with plenty of restaurants, massage parlours, pharmacies and main shopping malls up the road within a 5-10 min walk. i had lunch in a lovely family owned restaurant, a western/asian style across the main road called Indulge Bangkok. A classy decor with excellent aircon and really delicious food & drink and friendly owners. The hotel lobby is inviting, bright and spacious with live music in the evenings. It’s a very decent hotel, could do with a bit of modernising, but the hotel clearly attracts a lot of families and is a great hotel for convenience and general comfort.

The rooms decor is dated and could do with some modernising in keeping with the standard of other 4/5* hotels in the area. However, the rooms are very accommodating and large and have everything you could need including a mini fridge with complimentary water, hair dryer, big bath and a safe. Only thing I felt they missed is providing dressing gowns.

The room size was good, Breakfast was absolutely wonderful with a great choice of prepared fruits, cooked meals, even sushi options. and meals were delicious too. Hotel is clean and very friendly staff. Currency exchange at the reception desk and within 50m walk outside the hotel. Hotel provides clean towels and change bedding daily. Security safe in the room, Iron and ironing board in the room but also have laundry services near.

Didn't like the shower which was in the bath-tub, so had to step over the tub each time. While the aircon works great for cooling, I found that the aircons cannot be adjusted - so either too cold or put off. You cannot get a nice comfortable room temperature, even when I set the aircon to 26 degrees Celsius, It still blew too cold, so had to just put it off. This was the case in both rooms I slept in {they changed my room because I was given 2-single-beds room, whereas I asked for double- bed}

Excellent location. Big rooms. Good options for vegetarians in and around the hotel. Phenomenal rooftop Indian restaurant (they still serve in silverware).... 1826 rooftop bar is excellent place to unwind.. Special mention to Nano at front desk & Sumit, the manager at rooftop bar & restaurant.

Not a fan of rooms with full carpet.

We’re regular visitors to Bangkok and the Rembrandt is our go-to hotel. Over the years we have tried various hotels across Bangkok (eg last year we spent 14 room nights at Sofitel in Sukumvit and didn’t aa much as this hotel. )… so we’re back and will always consider. We are travelling - family - in August and are back again. at the Rembrandt. looking forward to it.

The room I had was a little dated. My sister and brother in law visited a few weeks ago and they got the new rooms so I know the hotel are transforming the rooms.
