I stayed here for 19 nights 1. Convenient location - it is accessible by MRT (few minutes’ walk), two BTS stations (Chong Nonsi and Sala Daeng) by 13-15 mins walk; Si Phraya pier/ River City centre by 20 mins walk. Multiple bus routes are available 2. Value for Money- a relative large room for less than 52cad per night 3. The hotel is located close to Mitrtown, Sam Yan Market and Chula area - with a lot of affordable eatery 4. Staff are helpful though not fluent in English, they ensure the taxi is waiting for my departure to BKK at 3am 5. Two 7-11 convenient shop in few minutes walk- you need to buy water, then the location is great

1. Cleanliness and maintenance- it is a relatively new hotel but the maintenance is rather poor. Floors are broken, toilet seat is broken. housekeeping does not do well in cleaning the room 2. Noisy and busy street - it is on the main Si Phraya road, very busy and noisy. I was assigned in the room facing the main road, I could not sleep on the first night, then I demand to change to another side, they did accommodate and help put a thick pad to eliminate the gap at the bottom of the door to reduce noise level . if you are light sleeper, ask for room facing the other side

I don’t normally write reviews, only provide scores but at Samyan Serene hotel, I absolutely loved the design and size of our room. The huge mirrors were just plus. Bed was really comfy, the staff exceptionally friendly and accommodating. Highly recommended and I will definitely return if I visit Bangkok again. :)

As others suggested, it is a bit noisy due to the hotel’s location but we slept just fine. The breakfast is a bit limited but we only stayed for 2 nights so we did not get the chance to get bored of it, however it might be concerning for those who stays longer.

The Sam Yam MRT is within 5-min walk while the Samyan Mitrtown shopping mall is 3-min walk away which has all you need including good restaurants & the Big C supermarket. I booked the accommodation with breakfast. Thip is the person in charge of the restaurant. She’s caring & friendly. Her cooking is great too. The congee is a must-try dish. All staff are helpful & friendly especially the night shift staff as I always checked in very late. They have a weight at their storage room which is absolutely helpful if you carry lots of luggage. The room is simple & spacious but spotless clean. I’ll surely book again in future.

My first stay in this hotel was at the beginning of June. Booking.com got me a free upgrade from superior twin room to deluxe twin room. As I changed my travel plans, I was forced to book the second stay myself which the hotel had an upgrade for me from deluxe twin room to deluxe king room. In fact Booking.com’s customer service is always very helpful to assist when I hv any change in bookings. This was my third stay here in July. Hotel has no balconies even when you can book them. Not so cool

We got an early check-in at no extra cost. Staff helped us arrange a one-day excursion on the same day and also getting a taxi to BKK airport (500THB, all inclusive). Breakfast is quite limited, but enough. Perfect location, well connected.

Our room had a (closed) door that connected to the room right next to us, so we could hear everything from there. The street where the hotel is located is quite noisy, so do not expect absolute silence at night.

Room is very spacious and very bright. Bed and linen very comfortable. Plenty of space for luggage and clothes, and nice couch for sitting. Great internet.

Breakfast options are very limited, but sweet lady working at restaurant will do her best to accomodate you, and you won't leave hungry. It gets very noisy in the night, due to traffic, but that is to be expected being in a such central location.

The location is great. Very close to mrt. Short walk to shopping nalks. Restaurants ect. Rooms are big, great fridge to keep cold drinks or food . Staff very helpful. Arrive early morning was given place could sit and wait until they could clean my room and let me check in early . They had been fully booked night before .

The location is in the city and very near to the Sam Yan MRT station. It is also very near to Sam Yan Mitrtown shopping complex so food, restaurants and basic necessities are all within easy reach. The beds are comfy. The room is spacious and clean. Room cleaning is done daily without need to ask. Can really feel the floor is clean everyday we come back to the hotel room.

THE ROOM was nice, recently refurbished, clean, spacious and modern style. THE STAFF at the reception very kind. THE LOCATION was very convenient: walk distance to a MRT station, close to a modern shopping mall (Midrtown) and even the MBK shopping mall and from there Siam, Sukhumvit road, etc was at about 20 mins walk distance.

THE NOISE from the traffic outside. It is located on a trafficed road that can be heard from the room. However, it must be said that the traffic stopped at night and, more or less from 7 pm to 6 am, I was able to sleep peacefully.
