the location was convenient.. the receptionist was one of the sweetest & nicest one I’ve met.. the room was clean & comfortable…good facilities..the fridge inside was very handy…

I stayed there for 5 nights… mistakenly booked a room without windows & there was a very strong smell in the room..i left the door open many times but didn’t change it.. I think it was coming from the AC…it was very much disturbing…I suggest no one get the rooms without windows… it felt like I’m in a box! the receptionist & staff speaking very loud to each other from 7,8 morning… so if you had a night out & need to sleep till late, then you’ll be disturbed by hearing them from early morning…

- Location: quite good Located in a peaceful and clean alley (but not too narrow, 2 taxi cab can pass through) Close to Khaosan area, 25min by walking to The Grand Palace with Phra Sumen Fort, Phra Athit Pier (to take the boat to Iconsiam and so on) on the way. Local restaurants nearby are stunning and chill, you can sit at the side walk and drink beer without disturbing from vehicles - Room and amenities: room is spacious, clean and style in design. All the interior, tile color, furniture make it like in an old movie with Indochine vibe. All the picture you see in website/comment/google maps are true. The room and guest house look exactly like what i have read and even more vivid in the real life. - Receptionist: the warmly welcome that hardly get in a guest house, they open AC before we check in, so went we entry the room, everything is ready. The lobby is small but chamring - Minus point: they dont have elevator but thats not a big problem i think Sadly we dont have enough time to capture all the corner of this place 😔😔😔 If I have a chance to visit Bangkok again, I would stay here for sure ~~~

The location is perfect and walkable to most of the attractions around the old town. The hotel is very quiet and no bar or club nearby, My boyfriend and I had such a wonderful sleep. The bed is also soft and comfy. The staff is very friendly and helpful. I recommend this hotel and will definitely come back if I have a chance.

- Internet is weak in some room or floor. - No elevator, it's fine for me but in case you have a very big or several suitcases. You might need to consider this. - The room has no window which can be inconvenient for someone but I love it as I tend to wake up easily with any light or noise. So this is perfect for me.

Exceptional rooms. Very relaxing and comfortable bed's. Actuall hot shower with excellent water pressure. Within walking distance of restraints and convince store. I will definitely stay again.

Internet was hard to connect to. I was on the second floor and had to use the first floor connection as it was more stable. Walls are thin. Family in next room apologized for their kids playing. As they knew if they hear my tv, I would hear the kids. This was not a problem for me but might be for others, so thought I would mention.

Nice location and very close to nearby harbor to get to Wat Arun and other places. Near the hotel also a local market where you can explore for food...there is also some local restaurant nearby hotel and a long the river otw to harbor. The hotel is small but value for money.

There is no lift, so you need to carry your luggage for the room located upstair. There is no breakfast include but you can easily buy it at the restaurant nearby or at the market for street food.

Although I hadn’t notices that I had booked a room without a window, it didn’t bother me. The room was spotless and the 42 inch TV more than made up for no window. Everyone from the lovely receptionist to the maids, were excellent. Something you rarely see, the owner of the Hotel was in attendance, what a delightful man. Everything about this hotel including the price couldn’t be better. I highly recommend this Hotel, it’s in a great position to be able to walk to bars and restaurants. Genuine value for money.

Amazing hotel! My girlfriend and I booked for 2 nights and ended up extending by an extra 2 nights because we loved it so much. It’s close to a lot of the main touristy areas but also tucked away on a cute street so it’s nice and quiet. We were upgraded for free which was really lovely and they kindly checked us in early at 6:30am for an extra 300 baht since we arrived by night coach. The lady at reception had good knowledge about the west of the city and suggested things for us to do. It feels very safe and homely in this hotel. We really like that there is an inside chain on the room door for extra safety. Room service came everyday to make the bed and provide fresh towels, coffee etc.

Didn’t have a hairdryer in the room but as soon as I asked for one they gave it to us immediately. The hot water broke one evening but they came to fix it as soon as we notified them.

Clean ! up kept older home.💠 nicely furnished, comfortable. Great location.. close to restaurants.. Thamna ( great vegetarian!) left on Samson between soi 3-5. Jade House just across Samsen ( soi 2) next door Indian .. also good✔️ JOKS seafood is 1st left off soi 2 middle block .. outdoor seating. Vespa coffee on soi 3 ( the river side ). Food market & department store.4-5 blocks to right on Samsen. Easy access to river taxis and historic forts and museums. OLD town Bangkok 💌

Patrick at the front desk was very friendly and helpful. He upgraded us to a beautiful room at no additional cost because upon arrival, he informed us that the room we booked had an issue with it. We had so much space and slept like babies!

We booked for three nights and unfortunately they only had two nights available for us. Patrick re-booked us at a couple of places that didn't work out and it was a hassle at the last minute to find another place. Fortunately it all worked out in the end.

Absolutely beautiful hotel, everything and a room looks exactly like on the pictures! Very comfy bed, good shower. Friendly and very helpful receptionist Pathrik (thank your for you kindness)! Fridge, water, coffee, tea in a room. The location is great, i've been coming to Bangkok since 2013 and always stay in this area! Highly recommend to book a room in the Orchid House 153!
