Awesome ServIce levels by Ms Lak in the front office , Lovely spacious room , Good basic breakfast ,Restaurents near by , they organise tour as well for sight seeing . Will surely recommend to others who want quality with budget

There is no Elevatorr in the Property which can be difficult when you have to go to the 4th floor . My Room was in 4th floor , I don't mind going by stairs but not every time

Friendly staff. Nice big room with everything we needed - a couple surfaces to put things, lots of wall sockets, towel rack, mirror. Bed was comfy (very firm). Good location - quick walk to khao San road and down to the river to catch the ferry.

Only con was its not somewhere to meet other backpackers, didn't have a very social feel.

Walkable to bus stop , boat taxi & khaosan night party area . Friendly staff and reception . Receptionist(Lek) understands english & helps in getting to tourist attraction, though there are other receptionist too.Lek also provided me tourist map. . Clean rooms, clean & comfy beds, good air conditioned, hot water , clean washrooms, daily room cleaning. Definitely recommended. Stayed there for 3 days.

Washroom didn't have jet facility and only have toilet papers.

We booked a room for 2 nights. The booking says that the room has air conditioning. When we arrived we were given a room with a fan. They asked to pay the same amount of 800 Thai baht. The room cost 800 for two nights, I had to pay another 800 in cash. But I remember exactly that I booked a room with air conditioning !!! Unpleasant situation

Clean, simple room that provided good value for money. In a quiet street but within easy walking distance of restaurants, bars and the express river taxi stop.

Nothing of significance.

Being on that part of the town right at the heart of Bangkok tourist attractions like the Khaosan road (800mts), Wat Arun Ratchawararam (2.5kms) and the palace...this is on a fantastic place with great connectivity to the airport, bus terminal and walking distance to the Chao Phraya river on which lot of ferries ply. Not to mention the river side walk in the evening which is truly worth doing. As a vegetarian from India I had no problems finding veg restaurants near the Chakrabongse road tangent to Khaosan road.

I had booked the room with fan. Though the beds were great the bathroom was a real tight squeeze. There hardly was any room to move around in the shower.

the location was excellent accessible to pretty much everything I wanted to do and the stuff were immaculates at a time where I had to buy a phone they took me to a shopping center where I was able to get a phone which literally saved the rest of my trip so I would like to thank them for this huge favor.

nothing really. the block where the rooms are have four floors so people with walking difficulties may want to make a note that they want a room in lower floors. other than that I can't think of anything I didn't like.

It was my first accommodation arriving in Thailand. And after four weeks of traveling i returned. Sam Sen Sam is rather home than a hotel. I love the Ladies at the reception. The Sam Sen Sam massage right next to the place was the best (Thai Balm! Try!) during my whole trip from north to south and west to east. The location is just perfect: you want the buzz? Take a short walk. But when you come back, you have relaxing dead silence. Breakfast is offered, but i‘m rather a vape & coffee guy. Yes, it all could be a tad modernized and i‘d like my bed made, but but but… Will come back next year. It‘s all about the vibe…and it‘s a hearty one here! The original traditional stay. Khorp khun khrap !!!

Grant the venerable house a make up: stains on the walls (dead insects) are not representative for this beautiful building. Clean the dust. Make the beds. Little things like that, to make it truly THE stay in this particular area!

Is the second time I’m coming back to this hotel. Staff is very friendly and the position is amazing, is 10 min walk from khao San area and if you like to walk you can reach some touristic place. Otherwise lots of bus stop closed to it and is close to the pier for the taxi boat. Don’t expect to be in 5 star hotel but quality/price is very good. Im always going back to this hotel when I’m travel to Bangkok

I liked everything… maybe They can be more focus on general cleaning.

The location was perfect. Close to fun bars and great places to eat but a bit outside the noise and busy areas on a very pleasant quiet street. The house is comfortable and very clean and staff helpful (even though they were not very accommodating when we arrived before check in time, couldn’t even use a bathroom after a long flight)

Our room was very small and dark (the only window opened to a tiny “patio”) but the worst part was the bathroom, smallest bathroom ever and the shower was so small that you couldn’t hit the mirror! It was very clean and even after showers the floor was completely wet they will cleans and dry it everyday
