Very comfortable hotel with spacious, clean rooms. Nice lobby/seating area downstairs with a seperate air conditioned workspace room. Cafe and restaurant open mornings and early afternoon. Reasonable priced breakfast/lunch. Fridge with drinks and snacks for sale. 24hour coffee, tea and juice available. Staff were always friendly.

Nothing major to complain about really. Maybe staff could have been a bit more attentive to the pool area. Often the used pool towel basket was overflowing onto the floor. And at times there were beer bottles left by the pool from the night before (more the responsibility of person drinking the beer to clear but anyway..) Bar was also closed during our stay, although you could buy beers/wine etc from reception and bring them to the rooftop

I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Isty Hotel, and I must say that my experience was nothing short of exceptional. From the moment I arrived until the day I checked out, the staff made me feel so welcome and comfortable. I stayed for 10 nights, and during that time, everything was perfect. One of the things that stood out to me about the Isty Hotel was the fast internet connection. As someone who needs to work remotely, this was a game-changer for me. They also have a co-working room which was fantastic. It was spacious, quiet, and equipped with everything I needed to get my work done. The pool area was another highlight of my stay. It was the perfect place to unwind after a long day of work or exploring the city. The staff were always on hand to provide me with towels and drinks, making my experience all the more enjoyable. I cannot speak highly enough of the staff at the Isty Hotel. They were so friendly, helpful, and accommodating throughout my stay. They assisted me in renting a scooter and arranging tours, which made my trip so much more memorable. The price of the hotel was also very reasonable, given the quality of the facilities and service. The rooms were spotlessly clean, and the breakfast options were fantastic. The only minor thing I could suggest for improvement would be to add more variety to the breakfast options, such as rice dishes for breakfast. Overall, my experience at the Isty Hotel was fantastic, and I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable, affordable, and convenient place to stay in the area. The staff, facilities, and service were all top-notch, and I look forward to staying there again in the future.

The staff are amazing, helping with everything to make each day brilliant. The pool is gorgeous surrounded by climbing plants and trees and sky, makes you forget you're in a big city. The location is on a quiet side road but very close to a street market, a vegan restaurant which has infinite lovely food and the International Thai Massage school, where there are brilliant introductions to the ancient massage, with its combination of acupressure and stretching. And makes the area very multinational. The hotel has a rooftop bar from which you can have the best cocktails or a champagne magnum of Unpasteurized Chang Beer. The rooms are lovely and have nice lighting. There are several spaces open for guests to get creative and or be served with real coffee. There are little quotes of wisdom everywhere and each one adds to the positive atmosphere. But it's the people that make it. I've never met so many people who smile as much as I do before. It's a perfect place to visit for a week or longer. It was way longer in my case. But that's how I know the happiness is authentic, the staff never tired of my brilliant ideas and helping me make them happen. Going to the elephants or to learn to cook or to the amazing gold temples were easy as organized by the staff and totally affordable too.

I liked everything!

Super comfortable bed, clean quiet space, small but nice balcony, good accessibility, everything very convenient, incredibly friendly and helpful staff (the manager even personally cooked me a meal one day as the kitchen was closed). I was travelling with a health condition so spent more time than most in the room but I was looked after by all the staff, who always came with a smile. They were also very happy to bring in special dietary items for me, which I was very grateful for.

There can be a little noise from the corridor during the day but it didn't disturb me, and I'm quite sensitive to these things. It was very peaceful at night. I think, like most places, it can be difficult for hotels to compete with the quality of food available at local restaurants, of which there are many to be enjoyed closeby. It's in a good area for this.

We liked the set up of the restaurant and pool area , was nice to relax in and good atmosphere. Staff were friendly and helpful with booking tours. Complimentary water /juice was great and handy that you could also buy snack etc from the hotel and use their coffee shop. Beds were very comfy and rooms had everything we needed. Lots of good food places around the hotel.

Restaurant doesn't offer dinner - this could have been useful on evenings you don't want to venture out. Bathroom ceiling is low and unpractical layout. If you have just showered then everything is then wet to walk across to use the sink. Shower was also cold every time. Bit of a walk to main attractions but not a big issue.

The room is quiet big and it was cleaned. We had arrived around lunch time but we could only check in after 2pm, so staff let us waited in a working room, which was a great offered because it was so comfortable in there too.

I didn't like how they desinged a swimming pool because it's has no privacy at all. The Swimming pool is right next to the elevator and very close to the reception so everybody can see you when you swim. also the hotel has a very limited parking spaces (maybe only for 4 or 5 cars) but you can still park at the opposite area wher they have so many restaurants.

I think this is one of the best experiences I had with staying in a Hotel in Thailand! We came to stay for 2 nights, but ended up staying 5 night to finish some work. The room was nice and cozy. I liked the fact that was situated on the ground floor and I could open the window to go out. The AC was good and the bed comfortable. Another thing to mention is the fact that they had Cacao, Coffee, Tea and Juice available for free all day long. As we mostly stay in to work, that was really helpful. The Wi-Fi is very good and fast. The staff are really nice and helpful. The environment is perfect for working but also for leisure. We used the pool a few times and it was good. They have breakfast available every morning and from what I saw from other people it looked good. I didn’t tried because as a vegan I didn’t quite like what they had available, but that wasn’t a problem for me. I tried the coffee from the coffee shop and it was tasty.

As a recommendation: some curtains have stains and looked a bit over used, so maybe some renovation would be beneficial. And working a bit on cleaning the table area, sometimes the tables were sticky.

Modern, clean & friendly / safe atmosphere. Chiang Mai was our second stop of our ‘backpacking’ travels and this place was perfect for us. Cheap but amazing value for what it is, the staff made us feel so welcome and helped us out with everything we needed e.g. booking transport for days out, suggesting things to do / places to eat. I would 100% go back there if we ever visit Chiang Mai again. Location is great too only 5-10 minute grab which is around 70 baht to most places (markets, restaurants).

Nothing we disliked

Such a great place to stay in Chiang Mai! We booked the small double room & it was perfect, not really small at all! Everything is clean & rooms cleaned every day if you want Water machines everywhere, free tea/coffee/hot choc & fresh juice!! Bed was so comfy & two pillows!! Shower was small but good temp & pressure Pool area was lovely but not loads of beds so can get busy Location is great if you have a scooter or want to rent a bicycle (there’s rentable bikes parted right outside), for us it would be a bit far to walk into the old town everyday but fine if you like walking a lot! Really really recommend this place to stay, we’ve stayed in 4 other places in Chiang Mai and this was 100% the best & we’ll definitely stay here again next time we visit. Our only grumble would be the plastic water bottles given every day when the room is cleaned are so not necessary when there are so many refill machines throughout the hotel!

Arrived with three friends and stayed 8 days. The hotel is in the heart of Chiang Mai around the corner from Tops Market and several coffee shops, and is accessible to all the markets, several Korean BBQ's, and many massage shops just a quick Tuk Tuk or Grab car ride away. The rooms are clean, the service excellent, the pool cool and clean, and the roof top bar area with a bar, tables, soft chairs, and small electric "fire pit" is the perfect place to relax and watch the sunrise. The breakfast has changed from a buffet to a pay as you go order system, Breakfast comes with fruit, toast, and a shot glass of corn flakes (yes, a shot glass!). You can order eggs over or scrambled. Pancakes are medium sized and fluffy, but it all gets old fast. They do provide Tang, water, and guava juice for free all day which was a comfort. If you arrive early or leave later, they will secure your luggage until you are ready to head out to the airport. Our overall stay was wonderful and well worth the trip. Yes, we will use this hotel again next year.
