Hotel rooms are really nice. Fridge etc. There's no kettles in the room as stated and only expensive rooms have hair dryers. I was able to rebook with the hotel however had to move rooms. Pool is lovely all be it freezing cold. Staff are very nice. The lady on reception seems to run the whole place. Very very helpful. Not a pushy hotel. 30 minutes walk from Saturday Market and 10 minute walk from Sunday Market. X2 7elevens 10 minute walks in opposite direction Free water.

No atmosphere Restaurant only able to do one vegetarian meal. Not many restaurants in the vicinity. Bathroom shower drains in to the main bathroom area, soaking the whole of the floor. Lighting isn't the best in the rooms.

Cleanliness of the whole property and the pool. The bed was extremely comfortable, the room was spacious, free drinking water, the fan was great, good wifi almost everywhere, hot water and normal water pressure; maintenance of the room everyday. The location is great because we were in 5min by walking in Old town, yet we enjoyed the quiet and peaceful Oase.

They don’t let guests borrow their iron. I asked to pay for the iron so I could be ironing my dress myself because it is very delicate. But they didn’t allow

The general cleanliness of the place if really great. The look of the room was a bit old but the bed was extra clean and comfy. The pool is great and also super clean. Air con worked great and the location was ok. They allowed me to use the pool after my check out cause my plane was later that day, which I appreciated. Good price for what you get overall.

No outside visitors allowed to the pool, which I can understand, but we did offer they pay a fee, the pool was not crowded at all, and still wasn’t possible. Policy I guess !

The pool was really nice and the staff were superb.

The staffs are friendly and they always stay the front desk 24 hours a day. It is within walking distance of Chiang Mai Old Town and there is a market nearby. It is also very close to places where red cars from tourist destinations such as Doi Step are gathered. Because it is away from entertainment facilities, it is quiet at night. Although the facilities are a bit old, it was a comfortable stay and overall, I highly recommend it.

We loved this hotel, it is one of the very best budget hotels we have ever stayed in - and we've stayed in many! The outside space was perfect, with tables in the shady garden or sunbeds and umbrellas by the pool. The bar area was comfy and shaded. It's family run and everyone was helpful. Just an easy walk to a day time market for breakfast or lunch. There's a really good night market at the end of the road before you enter the old city. The restaurant at the end of the driveway and the one opposite on the main road are both excellent for delicious, simple local food. The hotel's western style breakfast was very good. The location means it's quiet but only a short walk to all the sights and bars, but if you are feeling lazy you can get a songthaew (communal taxi) for 30 baht.

there was nothing that wasn't good

I loved this hotel! It’s in a peaceful location away from the main road, and my room on the ground floor was spacious, comfortable, and well-furnished. It has a pool and plenty of pleasant open communal spaces that you can just hang out in. Staff were very friendly and helpful. it also has a restaurant serving Thai food and drinks at very reasonable prices that’s great if you don’t feel like going further afield to eat. It’s close to one of the bus stations and a short walk to the Old Town and some good local restaurants. I recommend it!

Wifi was a bit unreliable, and seemed to be switched off at night until morning (but immediately reset and switched on again if I asked). There was only one accessible electric socket in the room.

Changpuak Hotel is conveniently situated 10 minutes away from Changpuak Gate. The hotel is hidden from the main road, so it is peaceful and quiet. A real oasis in the middle of the city, with a beautiful pool and very friendly staff. Rooms are cleaned everyday, the lobby/dining area is large and welcoming. We highly recommend it!

Pool wonderful , a good size and salt water . Breakfast very good and at a good price of 120 baht Room was of a good size , a very comfortable bed , and a good bathroom , with good quality towels and bed linen .

Nothing to complain about really , as I booked for one week , and stayed for three !
