Lovely little aparthotel with lovely,kind and helpful staff. The rooms were clean, and the beds were very comfortable with two types of pillows to choose from. It's self check in after 4 pm. The rooms come with a large fridge, sink and microwave in a kitchen like area. There is also a hairdryer in the bathroom. We also adored the little touches of this place, like the small free breakfast bar and the little basket of hair ties and umbrellas for guests. Bottles of water and toilet paper are left at our door by the house maid every day, which we really appreciate.

The only downside really to Jiang Mai 81 is that there is no elevator. We were lucky to be staying on the first floor, but those who have luggage would have to track up flights of stairs. There was also a smell from the sink in the bathroom.

Very low key accommodation. Each floor is a different room so there’s very little guests actually staying here at a time. We really liked this. It was always quiet no matter the time. The street is a side street off the main road and there’s a ton of other hostels. The location is perfect for quick access to old town and the night market around the corner. The beds were comfortable and the rooms spacious. We liked it so much we extended our stay. The internet is great for remote workers there’s multiple extenders. The maid stays on property till 5:00pm and she’s very kind! She was always attentive and asking if we needed anything. Every morning you’ll find a lite breakfast bar with cereal, snacks, and coffee. We checked in late so we just picked up our keys and walked up to our room. A/C in the rooms are always welcoming to come home too. Our room had a kitchenette with a microwave. Very useful.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Jiang Mai 81 hotel, and I couldn't be happier with my experience. From the moment I arrived, the cleaner was extremely friendly and welcoming. She went above and beyond to make sure that my room was clean and comfortable, and she always had a smile on her face. One of the things I appreciated most about my stay was the excellent communication via WhatsApp. The staff was always quick to respond to any questions or concerns I had, and they were always willing to go the extra mile to make sure that I was satisfied. The hotel itself was also top-notch. The room was spacious and well-appointed, and the amenities were top-notch. The location was also great, with many restaurants and shops nearby. Overall, my stay at Jiang Mai 81 hotel was a true pleasure, and I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable and enjoyable stay in the area. Great directions to the property. We were received kindly by a lady who is in the building for the day and care takes. The room was spacious and had all we needed. The beds were comfy.

The bathroom had mould and all taps were working but not fixed. The kitchen provisions (cutlery/crockery) were very sparse. The location compared to other areas in 'old' Chiang Mai is not fantastic but at walkable distance.

We really like the hospitality of the staff. The lady taking care of the place was always friendly, helpful and even gave our small child a gift. The room is spacious, clean and the location is amazing. Very close to the old city and many nice restaurants.

I'd like if the room had a stove or cooktop and maybe other small appliances to cook. Also, one day we had a bad smell coming from the air conditioner, but I suppose it was something outside of the building.

Perfect place, in a calm street full of hotels/hostels, right next to the old town. Both the owner and the maid were really helpful and nice. Clean, functioning.

Maybe a little shelf system/drawers to store our clothes would be nice.

I enjoyed my stay here very much and if I'm ever back in Chiang Mai, I'd stay here again. Great location, spacious and clean, very friendly staff:)

Bed could be more comfortable, but was OK:)

The room was a nice size with enough space for luggage. The aircon worked quickly to cool down the room. The bathroom had a nice size shower and the water heater worked great and temperature was easy to adjust. Location was just outside old town with many nice street food markets close by. Cheap tour operators just down the road and scooter rental close by. Staff were friendly and helpful, stored our luggage after check out as our train left at 18h00 only. We had a very nice stay here. Will book again.

No elevator is a very minor inconvenience.

everything was really beautiful and comfortable! maybe in real life even better than on the photos. super comfortable beds, really spacious bathroom with nice shower. even your own little kitchen with refrigerator and microwave! it’s also really quiet so you can sleep very well in these apartments. the location is perfect, everything in walking distance.
