A beautiful new hotel offering well-designed rooms and with impeccable service. The staff are friendly and professional, and seem to be exceptionally well-trained. The Level club lounge is a pleasant place to relax and enjoy refreshments after a long day of exploring Chiang Mai.

The food selection at the Level club lounge isn't especially extensive at afternoon tea and dinner. Minor complaint, but while the croissants are very crispy at the restaurant on the ground floor, they were considerably less so at the Level club lounge.

The pool area was very nice, with good space and offering both sun and shade. The location of the hotel was perfect, close to the night markets and the old town. The view from the room was nice, and the shower was great.

Staff at the rooftop bar were a little precious with the space - and there was a cord to stop people walking in, but it wasn't particularly well attended to. The breakfast did look good, but a little pricey.

The Melia was exceptional in every possible way. Loved the Spanish architectural influence and the level of service was outstanding. The rooms, the bathroom and all areas of the hotel are super neat and perfectly managed.

The pool closes too early at 7pm! After spending a hot day, I was looking forward to cooling off a the pool. However disappointed that it closes at 7pm which is rather strange given that's when most guests return from the day out to cool down.

Everything! The staff were brilliant, so friendly and helpful, especially Ploy and George. The room was probably the best room we’ve ever had in a hotel, we did upgrade to the Level Suit but it was worth it. We had access to the Level lounge where we were able to enjoy a quiet breakfast, we also had afternoon tea every day and there was usually food and drinks available as part of our package. The hotel is two minutes walk (through the car park) to the most amazing food night bazaar with all the shops, stalls, foods and massage places you could ever want.

The only thing that we were a bit unhappy with is one of the managers said they would help us organize a trip to an Elephant sanctuary and they never got back to us. Small issue, could have organized ourselves so no big problem.

beautiful hotel spa is amazing breakfast variety great cocktail bar amazing one staff member was amazing, I cannot remember his name he was on the helpdesk, he used to work at Lebua hotel! he should be at management level, he speaks fluently english is veryyyy helpful, always smiling and gave us so many tips during our stay! he even handled an issue we had with the credit card billing that the lady at reception could not help us understand! well done to you, if I am told the names I can remember

nothing much except it is very hot in the shower as everything is closed also, very bad that there is no window! staying too long in the room made us sick

Rooms are OK size, not that big. Appointed wonderfully. So very comfortable in every way. Pool is a lovely setting and great relaxing around. Not such a big pool though so if won't cope with a lot of guests. Hotel wasn't so busy when we stayed, so breakfast maybe wasn't quite what it could be. Was good though with a lovely setting and very nice staff but selection was perhaps a bit limited once you were there for a few days. English breakfast items are always poor in Thailand and here was no exception. Bread though was great and freshly baked.

Just so many places in Chiang Mai to compete with, it's very hard to stick out. This is a real quality hotel though.

Very nice hotel with a great interior decoration, well located. Very friendly and helpful staff who moved me into a bigger room due to too much noice from the aircon system in the first room in in the tower (hard to get a good nights sleep). Very good location with walking distance to the old town.

Groups travelling together filled out most of the pool during my stay. And very noicy in the restaurant on the ground floor. Maybe seat them in a corner away from the rest of the guests who also want to enjoy.

Melia is absolutely beautiful. The hotel is super new and the facilities are really clean and well designed. The pool us lush and the gym has amazing equipment. Beds are SO comfy and there's plenty of places around the hotel to sit and relax. Breakfast was good, especially like the omelette bar and Thai tea made for you in the morning.

Could have had a couple more water refilling stations around, but we just popped into the gym to fill up when heading out for the day. No worries!

Very nice modern, new hotel building, usual Melia and international standards. The room is also nicely appointed, with attention to details. There is good view from the sofa seater towards the city hillside or riverside. Breakfast is big 5* buffet, nice swimming pool and gym. A good high-quality accommodation to return to after a tiring sightseeing day. Many parking spaces in the courtyard.

The hotel is quite close to the night market and in general the busy and noisy tourist area. We thought that it is "far enough" and the isolation shall be sufficient for silence in the rooms, but in fact you may hear some noise until around 11 or midnight. Not too disturbing really - and if you put on the aircon in the room, the ventilation will cancel that noise out anyway.

Staffs were really friendly and helpful! The room is clean and beautiful. It is near to the market, money exchange and a Michelin Guide restaurant - Kiti Panit. Walkable distance to the Tha Phae Gate. Wide variety of breakfast as well :)

The smoke detector (im guessing) placed directly above our bed keeps flickering at night which was quite annoying and bothered me a lot. Also, found out that it is cheaper to book directly with the official website 🙊
