Beautiful rooms with traditional Thai furnishings. We loved our ground floor room which allowed us to go to access our own balcony and room straight from the pool instead of having to take a lift up to another floor when you are still a little damp from swimming. Very nice pool and area. Inside the walls of the old city so very handy to sightsee and market.

Breakfast was not really aimed to include western tourists - there was an abundance of Asian noodles/rice/soups etc but not much on offer for westerners with the exception of fruit and eggs. Maybe they don't expect too many western tourists but when we were there, there was a number of westerners staying as well. I'm all for trying out the local cuisine, but not just first thing in the morning and every day!

The location of the hotel is perfect being right near the Thai Pae Gate - you couldn't get much better if you want to stay near the old city. The rooms/hotel itself is absolutely stunning too - much better than expected and even better than the photos! Pool was great too. Breakfast was simple and small but all that I really need.

Spa in the room was broken - when we advised reception regarding this, they simply said 'we know' with no other explanation or apology. Should have clearly been told this prior to check-in. Also, on the last night we hired a second room where the a/c was also broken. I did not find out about this until check-out the next day so can't confirm if the hotels reaction to this.

The staff at the hotel were very nice and helpful. They always greeted us when we walked by and were happy to help with different things like refilling our bottle with ice and water anytime we asked. They were always smiling. There was also a concierge who helped us book two different tours at a reasonable price. As far as the room, the blackout curtains blocked out all of the light. The bed was big, the TV huge and modern, and the jet tub large enough to hold two people.

The wooden frame around the bathroom mirror had visible dust. The breakfast was okay but limited. Understandable for a small, budget property.

The location of this hotel is in the middle of the historical centre of Chiang Mai and thus serves as a perfect starting point for your travels and adentures. It features a nice outdoor pool and the rooms are spacious and fitted with beautiful, massive, wooden furniture. The hotel staff was friendly and one of them informs you about all kinds of tours and events that are available for guests of the city, which was perfect for us as first-time visitors.

We were very happy with the accommodation overall, we only found the quality of the breakfast to be a bit lacking, especially when compared with other accommodation we have stayed at during our Thailand travels. However for us this was a relatively minor inconvenience.

A nice hotel with a more "traditional" style and aesthetic. The staff was the highlight for us. We unknowingly booked the wrong date for a tour and were waiting in the hotel lobby to be picked up. Wasan, at the front desk, asked us what tour we were waiting for and what time pick-up was. As more time passed, he offered to call the tour company. He found out we booked the wrong date and managed to fit us into the tour still the same day. Due to our busy itinerary, Wasan really saved our trip to Chiang Mai and we can't thank him and the staff at Villa Sirilanna Hotel enough.

There were mosquitoes in our room.

Staff was extraordinarily courteous and polite. The fascilities were very good and clean. Beautiful just.like in the photographs. Breakfast was nice and had a big variety.

The pool was out of order, but the management had apologized with a letter (!) and offered us an apology complimentary cocktail. The water pressure in the shower was a bit weak for my taste. And sound proofing to the room next door with which we had a shared locked door wasn't good and we could hear the guests enjoying their vacation.

Early check in was welcomed Offered Breakfast on the day we arrived early The room was beautiful. Double jacuzzi bath 4 poster bed room 101 ground floor . No balcony but pool loungers right outside of the room. Staff extremely friendly . Reception very helpful printed off our boarding cards for us and arranged taxis . You can book all trips at a little desk in the lobby

Pool went a little green after being clear when we arrived . Not much sun around the pool just 3 sunbeds that got a little afternoon .the other 3 in the shade most of the day. Small bar in the breakfast room with a few drinks on offer but No cocktail happy hour

1. Location was great for all local amenities and the Sunday night Market. 2. Lovely decoration in traditional style and big rooms. 3. Breakfast had a good variety if items and freshly made eggs everyday. 4. They let us use another room to shower after checkout as our flight was later in the day.

1. Rooms could be a little cleaner but I think the dust generally comes from the fires in the forest which would need constantly cleaning throughout the day.

The breakfast was very poor and also when things ran out, they did not replace them. Also, We were about to miss the flight because of the receptionist since he doesn't speak any English. The day before our flight we asked this receptionist for a taxi for three Large suitcases plus three small suitcases plus three people and he ordered a small taxi so we had to wait for another taxi that took half an hour to come so we were about to Arriving late at the airport. It is incomprehensible that a hotel receptionist does not speak English.

The staff went out of their way to help us with getting taxis, booking activities, and generally were very friendly and helpful. The hotel rooms were very beautifully decorated, and had a really nice jacuzzi bathtub. The hotel was clean and comfortable. There were different breakfast options each day of our stay. The location was really convenient for sightseeing, with lots of places to eat and drink nearby.

The room didn't have a window and this wasn't clearly advertised, however, overall it didn't impact on our stay as the room was really nice otherwise.
