The hotel was very "Serene" tucked away at the end of a little road but right in the middle of where you want to be and close to the beach, we had a very nice view of the ocean. It was a smart, airy building. The room was nice with an amazingly comfortable bed. The staff were efficient and friendly and good breakfast.

We had asked for a room with bath but the water wasn't hot enought to fill it! my Husband had to make it hot by taking hot water from the sink (seperate heater) with the kettle. The WIFI was terrible. (Just a little point that the restaurant is quite warm so the milk and butter would benefit from being kept on ice)

The location was great & Central & set in the historic city walls. Easy to get around walking or local transport. The staff we met were all helpful and friendly. The pool was great & we spent most afternoons there. The room we had was comfortable, clean, quiet, maintained & spacious. The hotel was lovely set in lovely gardens with a big pond with fountains & an amazing wall with historic designs. The breakfast buffet was sufficient, we could have had a bit more choice but overall it was nice. Thank you to everyone for a very enjoyable stay.

Beautiful place hidden inside the old town. The surroundings were so pretty and quiet. Having breakfast every morning was so serene and calm. The staff were super friendly! Great location, you can walk anywhere. There’s a 7/11 right in front of the hotel. The bed and pillows were super comfortable.

If I have to pick on something, I guess I was expecting tooth brushes but there weren’t any, however there’s a 7/11 across the street which is super convenient.

Pretty much everything, especially for the price. Great location Staff are not pushy with excursions/ trip booking but it is there if you ask.

No smoking area inside the hotel. You have to stand outside the front. This may be a plus for some people, but for me, I like to smoke a cigar in the evening when I am on holdiay, so this would have been nice. I appreciate the need to be respectful to other guests though and i wouldn't hesitate to stay here again. This is the only reason for 9/10

Lovely hotel. The room was vast and beautifully decorated with a balcony overlooking the garden. Facilities were amazing. The pool was great and the bar in just the right spot next to the pool. The lady minding the bar was very helpful and friendly and served delicious cocktails. Breakfasts were delicious. Great location to explore the city

It would have been nice if the bar had opened later but maybe it was just that we were there in rainy season - had lots of fun in the pool in the rain

nice hotel with charm, VERY WELL loacted in the down town, large room, good breakfast We were upgraded from a suite to an excellent family appartment , with 2 large rooms, living, kitche and 2 excellent bath rooms

The facilities were a bit outdated, great problem with water in the shower, it did not work regularly. In my appartement it worked only in one bathroom, but it was not always the same bathroom, it changed along the day. My daughter had a suite and she had no/little water in the shower most of the time. This is a great failure of this hotel.

Amazing place for the money! The courtyard with the fountain and trees is my definition of serene. The breakfast is good and you can enjoy it while watching the fountain and listening to the birds. There's also a nice lounging area, bar and pool upstairs. The location inside the old city and near the gate and night market is perfect. The room was very big and came with an outsized bath tub. It's very quiet overall!

The building and rooms are a bit on the older side (which kinda fits into Chiang Mai). A do over with new floors and bath would really lift the value!

Nice large hotel with great parking in a convenient location in Chiang Mai. The main pool is fabulous, nice and clean with a helpful attendant. Also a great size and lots of shaded seating around. They actually have two pools, the smaller could be great for small children as not so deep. The room was spacious for three of us, also a nice big bathroom and huge bathtub. The drying rack was a great addition.

The staff could have been more friendly/helpful. Often felt you were bing ignored as opposed to them being there to help. The breakfast is also quite poor, as other reviews mentioned. While there is variety, and it seems to change daily, the buffet style is hard to master.

The breakfast was adequate and it was a very quaint hotel with traditional Thai furniture. The gardens were beautiful!

We were disappointed that they didn't do evening dinner and there was no bar during the evening to have a drink. There was a bar attached to the lovely swimming pool where we enjoyed a cocktail during the day.

Great location and walking distance to Thapae gate. Staffs was very friendly and reply promptly to my requests before my stay. Room is great but suitable for couple as the bathroom was not fully covered.

There is no lift for higher floor rooms but staff are helpful and assist in carrying our luggage.
