The hotel is in a really nice quiet and shady area, next to a big temple, and not far from the old city, like a 5-8 minute walk. Some of the staff are really lovely and friendly, especially the older lady. The room was super comfy, good bed, the shower offered hot and cold (some places it's just lukewarm), and the wi-fi was very good. For the price, I don't think I could find anything better than this. I came to train Muay Thai for a week and it was a quick walk to both The Bear and Sting gyms. Also, I was surprised by how few mosquitoes there were.

One female receptionist was abjectly useless. When I asked her about a laundry service she looked at me like I was born on another planet. I asked again if there was a laundry shop nearby where I could drop off my clothes to be washed. She didn't know, but pointed me to a laundrette (not what I wanted). Never mind. I asked her where the nearest restaurant was, and she had zero idea. I was tired and hungry, so I stepped out of the hotel, turned right and walked about 10 metres and there is a fantastic pizza restaurant. Why did she not know this? It feels like laundry service and local food are things that your receptionist should know to help guests. Weird. Could do with buying some new pillows as they were a bit lumpy, but still comfy.

Quiet street at night

Air con filters had not been cleaned for some time.

The staff at front desk and housekeeping. The housekeeping staff does a wonderful job. Well maintained pool. Location a short walk to the night food market and next to the Silver temple. Located at quite a distance from the bus terminal 3,but once you are there you are peace. Would recommend and visit again.

Small bathrooms. No place for basic toiletries. No wardrobes. Room size small just enough for a couple, but comfortable. No elevators. Ask for #301 one of the better rooms with a small balcony. There was a water problem two consecutive days. Guess it was a technical issue, and it was resolved.

Really great location, you can walk all around the city from the hotel. Plus a big walking market is just down the street every Saturday! The staff was nice and helpful whenever I needed something. The hotel was overall quiet and clean, and the lobby was comfortable and pleasant to hang at. The room (3rd floor) was what I expected for the price. We were there for new years and we saw 6 different fireworks from our small balcony, it was awesome! We didn't try the breakfast but saw other people having it and it looked good.

The shower system was old and most of the time, even strictly applying the instructions given, we only got lukewarm water and not actual hot water. It's only my personal preference, but the beds were too soft. Our mattresses were not clean under the sheets (no washable covers). The pool wasn't heated so the water was quite cold - even my 5 years old couldn't go in and he usually doesn't mind.

Great stay in Chiang Mai! It's very quiet, room size is good, AC and shower work fine, staff is very nice. The location is good and the swimming pool is a big plus! Recommended!

Doors can only be locked from inside, which means you have to slam it when you leave the room to have it locked. That means every time someone leaves their room, well you'll hear it.

Great location and really nice pool.

Balcony is a concrete enclosed sweat box. At least 15 degrees hotter than outside temp. When the outside temp is 41c, it makes the balcony unusable. The A.C. is really, really weak. It made the whole stay quite uncomfortable as the temperature was 30c+ overnight.

Lovely helpful happy staff. Perfectly situated hotel, within a short distance of the hustle and bustle. Down a side street with hardly any traffic noise, and a beautiful temple at the end of the road. Will definitely use this hotel again when visiting Chiang Mai, as very affordable and a lovely pool. You can even buy your own food and eat it at the hotel.

Nothing to dislike at all. The hotel even when busy, was tranquil and easy to relax in.

nice pool, comfortable room with private bathroom, strong air-con and free water every day which was nice and close to southern gate food markets

15-20 min walk to town centre, advertised “balcony” was not really somewhere you want to hang out as not even room for a chair or table but fine if you’re a smoker I suppose.

A simply furnished hotel nicely situated 5 mins from the southern gate to the old city. Nice pool that got the sun til mid afternoon. Breakfast extra, ok, but cheap. The staff were excellent and very helpful.

Never got the hang of the shower so cool showers.

Right in amongst the walking street next to the Silver Temple and walking distance to South Gate Market. 7/11 2 mins walk. Staff very nice. Common area very pleasant, adjacent to a lovely pool.

We needed extension leads to have power by the bed. Everything else great.
