So much about this place. It’s in the most idyllic setting. The wonderful pool overlooks the sea. The little pier with the fishing boats coming and going. No restaurant but we had breakfast at Bailan Cafe, which was wonderful. A wonderful place to slow down & recharge the batteries. There are some negatives but these are far outweighed by the positives. We will certainly be going again.

No sun beds so you couldn’t lay down at the pool comfortably. Our bed was incredibly hard & actually hurt my hip & shoulder. A/C quite noisy. Cold shower. Brown water in bathroom sink. Noisy fridge.

Fantastic resort, located at Bailan beach. The resort is located in a beautiful area, quiet and peaceful. The swimming pool is great, always clean and you can actually spend hours just relaxing in the resort area. There is an option to go to the sea, it is rocky. Lonely beach which is a lovely sandy beach is 5 minutes drive away. The room is big and clean, the bed is very comfortable, Wifi connection is very good, and the room has a very nice and clean bathroom. The owner is amazing!!! so nice and super friendly, and also one of the funniest owners I have met during my travels. He is always attentive and asked if I needed any help with anything. I really felt at home :) I loved this place !!! I will come back for sure when I am back to Koh Chang.

The staff is very welcoming, the place is cosy and has very nice views over the bay area. There are good restaurants and cafes nearby. The bungalows are comfortable. Overall it's a great alternative if you are not keen on being directly on the beach and it's good value for money.

Nothing major - some sunbeds would be very useful, instead of the plastic chairs. Also, filtered water instead of plastic bottles would be great (I believe they're working on it).

Though these bungalows are older, and more rustic, you cannot beat the value for the price. Comparable bungalows would cost a lot more on Koh Chang. There was a full bar, pool table, nearby restaurants, privacy as it is near one end of the island - WiFi, swimming pool, on the sea, GOOD cable TV channels, and AC w. fan.

Water pressure was low, and Wifi was slow - but that is sometimes due to the weather conditions.

Our room had a sea view, every evening we enjoyed the sunset directly from the pool. There is only a stony entrance to the sea, Lonely beach is approx. 3 km. The resort is quiet, the staff was always helpful and friendly.

Electricity distributions .....wires right next to the pillow. There was a mess around the resort, trash thrown around.

Nice quiet resort at the ocean. Good pool. Nice room. Great staff! There are good places for food on the main street.

Internet didn‘t work in the room and the bathroom could be nicer - it smelled a bit. In general the resort could be upgraded with small features, like sunbeds instead of old plastic chairs, more shade, a restaurant (they have a delivery service though). And maybe important to know, there is no beach close by.

Nice bungalow with an ocean view. Rocky beach but you can swim at high tide. Hammock to hang out in and watch the sunset. And it's always nice to have a place with a pool.

Too bad it doesn't have a restaurant. I tried several restaurants in the Bailan area but found the quality of the food in most to be lacking. Coconut Café was the exception, great breakfast!

Nice bungalows, well maintained resort with great view of the water. Nearby many small restaurants and a couple of mini marts. Perfect place for relaxing on the island. Also, the outdoor private bathrooms are both stunning and separated from the main bedroom area.

Not a dislike, but note that you are a bit of a distance from the beach and busier parts of the island. You can easily get a taxi or motorbike if you need

location was beautiful, the pool was always clean and inviting. the swing over the sea was a gorgeous little bonus!

the air conditioning in our room was placed so only the people sleeping in the double bed could feel it. My friend staying on the single bed, found it very difficult to sleep due to the heat and no air con.

A very good team !!! The manager and all the staff... they listen to your needs and help you in your trip... it is a place that exudes peace and happiness. the water in the pool is extremely clean compared to some resorts around... Kindness is the word !

No beach but a lot of beautiful beaches nearby !
