gorgeous sunsets from beach and pier. beautiful double delux sea view room. love the window between bathroom/bedroom and the egg chair on balcony. gorgeous turqouise paintings. great choice at breakfast - bought there for a good price! Nice swimming pool. lovely beach. quaint traditional village compared to some more touristy places nearby. lots of nice restaurants nearby. no atm or supermarket, but tiny shops nearby with basics.

no English tv/films or very limited choice. otherwise everything else was fabulous, no complaints at all!

The hotel is on a secluded beach which provides privacy safety and quiet. The rooms were spacious, and clean. The employees were kind friendly and keen to please. lastly it has a gym and a lovely spa. The food was very good from the restaurant. We had some dinners and a random lunch. We did not have breakfast. Once though the chicken wings were raw inside.

The mattress was on an elevated space on the floor and too hard for our bones. The bathtub in our room was leaking when I needed to use it after a cold. The cleaning was not sufficient the first two days, for example there were stains on the floor and the mirror on the door was left smudged. But when I went to the reception and asked for it all was done perfect. Lastly the sea was not clean most of the days - in my experience this was a most general problem on the island unfortunately- and the tide left it very shallow late afternoon. It was impossible for me to swim there so I preferred the pool which doesn’t have a deep end.

Nice Location in a quiet area of Koh Chang about 30 mins drive from ferry terminal. Rooms are spacious and clean. Swimming pools are great and there is a long pool you can do laps in. Small ( Man made) beach with slightly coarse sand..its a bit mudder further out and shallow..OK for building sand castles though. Breakfast is very good with eggs how you like..real bacon..cold cuts, cheeses, salad and a good variety of Thai food..as well as good coffee..tea ..pastries and cake..short walk to local restaurants..but there are about 4 to choose from..Hotel prices a bit high for food and drinks..VAT is included in shown price though! You will need a car/ Scooter to explore the island..but most beaches are just 5-20 mins drive away..there are also taxi truck to get you there. Hotel also has a tour office for boat trips

It desperately needs some repair/ maintenance..its a beautiful Hotel..but loose floor tiles in the room..and some general tlc let it down..you can see its just been ticking over during lockdown( covid)..They have canoes etc but you have to pay to use them..which could be a courtesy ..if you get a good deal on a room including breakfast you,ll be happy..

I really liked the space of the room and that there was a private beach for the resort. The resort was a relaxing and romantic atmosphere. I felt really comfortable and safe and I liked that it was clean. Staff were so friendly and room service was good , some things were reasonably priced.

Not the resorts fault , but the location was far from most things such as 7/11 or other big convenience stores. Had to get a taxi to other beaches and it would be expensive travelling everyday as things weren't walking distance. The area had a very small town with a few small shops and places to eat but not much choices. The resort is also located far from the pier

First off. Mercurey Koh Chang team. I can't thank you enough. To have stayed with you was the perfect fit for a well and truly overdue holiday break. The ambiance and location of the property offers everything that is needed to revitalise mind, body and soul. Trust me, we will be back soon. Thank you for honouring my booking for such a long time. We never had such a comfortable bed in our whole Thailand stay of 4 months. It was extremely cozy and we loved the room in general. we booked sea view and it was a pool view in the end with a tiny bit of sea.

The hotel and also the rooms need renovation! the sun beds are really all almost not usable anymore which is a shame and it smells quite mouldy in the bathroom. The food prices in the hotel are also really really high that's why we always went outside to eat.

Decent location on the beach, albeit a little far from the main centre. The staff were very friendly, especially the car park attendant, who was very helpful. Seating and tables at the beachfront were free to use.

There was very little that I disliked about the resort. The only thing that was a little annoying was that there was no warm/hot water in the shower, despite someone coming to 'fix it'.

The beach was great and the breakfast was really good! The staff was friendly an helpful, and the town nearby was really cute.

First, I stayed in the cheapest room. It turned out that it didn't have windows, or, the window was blurred and faced right into a wall. I decided to upgrade and had a great time after. Had some trouble with the wifi on and of, but when it was working, i was able to do zoom-calls etc.

Like most places, this hotel is still recovering. They are advertising for staff, as is just about everywhere on the island. The room was lovely, staff lovely just need more of them. Breakfast buffet was very nice. Aircon in the room was very new and quiet.

The area near the beach could be better. The beach bar seemed to only have one barman who knew what he was doing. When he wasn't there it all went pear shaped. Took them 20 mins to open a beer. One couple waited an hour for cocktails, and then left. There were three large sack of rubbish next to the bar that didn't move for two days. And the shower was awful, either boiling hot or stone cold with no pressure. Which was a shame as everything else about the room was excellent.

Stylish hotel with very nice rooms. Excellent swimming pool. Reasonably priced food from a wide menu. Sea good for swimming and floating apart from when the tide is fully out. Nice mix of overseas people and Thai families. The massage ladies by the poolside provide a very relaxing service.

Towels beginning to wear a bit thin. Otherwise nothing to complain about.
