It would be a long list of things that I liked. Clean dorm, bathroom and toilets. I was a little sceptical at first about the shared bathroom, but it was very clean. The corridors, lobby area, elevator, everything was great. They really meet the standard of hygiene. The environment has a kind of a party vibe, so you will definitely enjoy it if are a fun-loving person. For people who want solitude, this place will give you that too. You will only find noise in the bar. People only come to the dorm, when they badly need sleep. The bonus is the proximity to the beach. You can buy some snacks or drinks from the seven-eleven store and then off to the beach.

The cost of drinking water was too high. They should provide drinking water free of cost. I find the ventilation is not good in the rooms. There should be some exhaust fan or something. My roommate has smelly shoes and even when he kept them outside, the room was still full of that bad smell.

very nice hostel, big swimming pool, the rooms were really nice, my room had only 4 beds, with enough space and lockers to put your stuff, stairs instead a ladder for the upperbunk which was nice, the room was very clean too, the bathrooms were super nice, clean and spacious as well, they have a working space area, the lobby was nicely arranged with a lot of seating, the hostel organized events like pub crawls, poolparties etc.,

the check-in process did take quite long but maybe I arrived at a very busy time; I organized an airport transfer through the hotel and the driver was 25minutes late, also not a big deal because I had enough time

Friendly receptionist on late arrival, 24 hours reception, 5-10 minutes to the beach, nearby bars restaurants night clubs, Bangla Rd 10-15 minutes walk. Clean dorm and beds with light, side table, large locker, modern hostel with dorms and privet rooms, large swimming pool, comfy sofa beds to relax, bar for drinks and food, many activities offered. good service from bar man, they come to you to offer drinks. Would stay here again, although a bit pricy compared to other hostels.

Privacy curtain in mixed dorm only covers half of the bunk beds, toilets and showers were not clean as often as other hostels, people pissing on the floor, smiles bad and left unclean. Would expect more for the price, AC was way too cold and could not control it

Good location and clean rooms. Nice staff. After we made a complaint of the noise, the hotel was kind to give us a new room at the other side of the hotel. Deluxe rooms are nice size.

This hotel is a partyhotel. Little bit loud music in the restaurant. At first we had a junior room and there was no fridge. The junior room is really small. We had a lot of luggage and had some trouble to fit it all in the room.

Lub D is an amazing hotel! The best I have stayed at. Lots of young people stay here and party EVERY NIGHT! If you want to heavy party, this is the best place to stay, honestly. They have a different (alco-)activity each day, that’s amazing. Staff is suuuuper-friendly! Great cafe at the lobby: cheap, tasty, hearty food. Loads of places all around to eat, party, relax, smoke weed, etc. Just 10 minutes from a must-visit Bangla Road street. Highly recommend!

No gym but it’s not really necessary. Lobby bar/cafe is open air, so it gets hot sometimes. But there are a lot of places around to eat, so you may have a breakfast in conditioned Coffee Club or Joe’s nearby. Great place anyway! :)

The facilities were amazing, and they have a section of the hostel where you can book tours and excursions which is really useful. Also they host activities within the hostel like pub crawls etc which is a great way to socialise. Location is great and would recommend for group and solo travellers as it’s super easy to meet people here.

Just be aware this is a party hostel so there will be music on for most of the day and it can get quite loud, however this all stops before midnight so no need to worry about struggling to sleep.

Staying in a hostel was a bit nerve-wracking for me as it was my first time. However, the moment I stepped into Lub-d, my apprehension vanished. It was delightful to lounge by the pool, meet people from around the globe, and hear their fascinating stories. If you're looking to broaden your horizons, I highly recommend staying here. The staff is exceptionally helpful, the food is delicious, and the drinks are both good and reasonably priced. There's a wide array of activities available as well. I opted for a single room, which was both clean and efficient. Special thanks to Ponpang, who was incredibly kind and warm. Also, kudos to the wonderful lady at the travel desk; booking tickets there is both cost-effective and efficient.

Nothing at all

The location was perfect, everything is nearby, large variaty of restaurants, shops, massages and the beach is a few minutes walking. The hotel itself was alright, I liked that there were activities for people to socialise pretty much everyday.

I was a solo female traveler and it seemed that about 80% of guest were males. Would have been nice if there was more females, so I could have had girls company. The private room was very small, not enough place to even open the laugage fully!

The location was great, very close to Patong Beach. The street was not very busy, so it was very easy to take a walk around. The hotel had ala carte breakfast which was delicious. The hotel had an amazing vibe, there was some party happening every day. Hotel staff was very nice, the tour desk was very helpful. We booked tours from there and rented a bike as well.

Room was very small, but for the price it was fine. Room did not have a refrigerator. In Phuket's heat, we couldn't keep our water cold.
