Beautiful place with the most friendly and helpful staff. The bungalows are spacious, comfy and we'll serviced. Pool is peaceful and deep! The food was also good, breakfast two nights and one evening meal which was delicious.

The only minor downside was works to a bridge nearby meant a longer detour for tuk tuks and taxis, but the hotel could still arrange good rates for transport into the town and believe the bridge should reopen in October 23

Beautiful tropical setting, very peaceful. Great pool! Staff were very friendly and helpful. Food in the restaurant was great. A tip if you're arriving by train: it's a short 700m walk to the resort from the train station, not 2.5km over the main bridge as Google maps will show. Don't go out the front exit at the station, but make your way over the tracks to the back and you'll find yourself in the street that the resort is on.

Great hotel and very friendly and helpful staff. The food was very nice and fresh for dinner. Breakfast was also good. The location is a bit further away from the main town which was nice as it was very peaceful. The staff help to book a tuk tuk to town or wherever you want to go, which is at a good price. Or if you prefer to ride a bicycle they have them available to use. They also offer suggestions on what to see and do which was very helpful. Our room was by the lake which made a peaceful outlook and feeling, and the pool was really nice. Everything was clean. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay here, we felt welcomed and cared for, and it was a nice break from Bangkok.

This was an idyllic location and such a great contrast from being in Bankok. We loved being so immersed in nature and the accommodation was tastefully designed with perfectly equipped chalets. The staff were exceptionally friendly and did their upmost to make our stay as enjoyable as possible.

I had an enjoyable time using the pool. But it's not huge, so with 3 other people doing lengths it was a bit tight! There weren't any vertical steps to access the pool, so you do have to make sure you'll be able to exit before entering!!

EVERYTHING! This place is a little paradise and so good for the price. We walked wity our backpacks from the train station (a sweaty 10 min walk or short £2 tuk tuk) and Baan Thai is so beautiful and relaxing. The staff were incredible - so helpful and friendly. We stayed in the Thai Villa and had our own balcony, comfy bed and decent air con. Breakfast was great - lots of options and the evening meals were lovely too. The pool is clean and we had it to ourselves a lot. Bed was comfy and air con was good. Cycling around the temples on the free bikes was a bonus. They let us store our bags all day and use the pool and shower facilities all day as well as isong the bikes, until our sleeper train so we didn't feel like we were just hanging around.

That we only booked for two nights. Limited space to put bags/suitcases in the room and hang up clothes.

I frequently travel Thailand for business and I've stayed at several hotels, Baan Thai House exceeded my expectations in terms of staff service and room. The staff were all polite, friendly, respectful, and very helpful. The food was good, the room and the view was great, and the location was ideal for the places I wanted to go to. The place was peaceful. The restaurant doesn't have a lot of food options but you can order Grab food easily; that's what I did when I wanted milktea. It was also easy to book Grab car.

We will go back and tell our friends to stay here as well. We had problems with an excursion, and even the owner got involved. Without us even asking, they all started phoning around and sorted it. This was so amazing. The room we stayed in nr12 Thai house was gorgeous. I booked a massage as an add-on, and this was really nice. We loved the breakfast, not a big verity but enough and delicious. Ayutthaya as a community is really a trip worth.

Nothing, we fell in love with Baan Thai House

Our lovely spacious bungalow had a balcony overhanging the lake. No problems with insects. Restaurant and pool were great. Didn’t really enjoy the massage. Highlight of our stay was Benja, the friendly receptionist, who organised all our sightseeing and transport requests. Prices for these are all clearly displayed and reasonable.

A little way from the main tourist island but tuk tuks we’re cheap and always available to get there.

We loved everything! The place is absolutely beautiful with the pond, flowers and trees surrounding it; everything is very well maintained. Beautfiful, large and clean pool. Spa with massages available. Room was spacious and nicely decorated with a large bathroom. Very kind and helpful staff. Great food. Bicycles available for free to reach the temple area through a shortcut including a nice short boat ride.

We loved staying at Baan Thai House. This place is beautiful, well established, relaxing and comfortable in its own skin. We stayed in a villa and in a room and they were both full of character, spotless and had really comfy beds. All the staff (and owners) are friendly and helpful and it's easy to arrange trips, tuk tuks etc. If you're catching a late train you can leave your bags after check out and use the pool, showers etc. Then there are the beautiful grounds with ponds, lots of shaded seating areas and a lovely swimming pool. Finally we also had massages - recommended. We'll definitely be back.
