Homey vibe. Beautiful homestay. Clean environment. Breakfast included. We are muslim, and can't consume the bacon and sausage that are included the breakfast set so the staff took note of our diet and omit them (just fried egg, salad, fruits). Simple yet delicious. All staffs can't speak english but they tried their best to assist during our stay, and always smile. So happy with their service and accommodation. There are some bicycles that guests can use for free. If you want to cycle outside, don't forget to ask for bicycle lock chain from the staff. Walking distance to convenience shops. There is a local morning market down the road too.

No proper reception desk or any sign that indicate where to meet the homestay staff for check in/out. On our second day, a couple of new guests randomly walked into our house because they want to check-in, and thought that our unit is the reception (it's the first unit in the complex). The staff's quarter is the small house unit in between two larger units. But no signage to indicate it. That's the only uncomfortable experience. Other than that, everything was good.

This place is a hidden gem. Quiet, homey with beautiful artistic touches. Air conditioning works great. Staff is so kind and helpful even though we couldn’t speak the language. They connected us with a friendly tuktuk and boat tour. Very nice garden. This is walking distance from some shops and markets. The area outside the gates seems different but overall we were safe and people were friendly.

Bathrooms are a little old looking but they function fine. I did not know geckos were normal in Thailand, but once I realized they are harmless we were fine.

We had a great time, looks like a green oasis in the middle of Ayutthaya. The staff is lovely, had to translate everything using google, but nothing was too much to ask.

Room was lovely and good sanitary, but you will have to expect the bathroom being on the opposite site of a shared hall. Meaning you can't walk in your underwear for example. Bathroom was really hot, but clean and fine. There wasn't a bed, but a matras on the floor, once again, this wasn't anything bad, because the matras slept great. Just don't expect anything too fancy. Only thing we really were a little disappointed with was that the bicycles weren't available due to maintance. We sort of selected this stay because of that ability. Which meant we had to hire them at another place and paid for that.

A peaceful oasis of calm- a traditional Thai building set in a large garden just 2 minutes walk from the main drag and the main market area. Staff very kind and helped sort out an item we had left at a previous stop. Our three bedded house was charming and had fridge, kettle and water. Breakfast was a choice of western or Thai. Tourist maps were available at the train station at certain times but most of tuk tuks were keen to offer tours of the main temples for around 150 tbt per hour- it took us 2 hours but we were speedy. There’s a street where the Bangkok minibuses arrive which was a good place to find keen tuk tuk drivers and had three supermarkets.

The place is awesome, it has a beautiful garden with games for kids and the lady of the house very nice. It’s a beautiful retire place after a day in the Ayutthaya ruins. The breakfast is basic but well cooked, and the room was big and clean. They also suggest us a guy to pick us up at the airport and the day after in Ayutthaya with the Tuk Tuk, just ask the contact of Mr M at the hotel.

I loved my stay at Baan Suan Krung Kao. The accommodation was beautiful and clean, it was located in a good area, the staff were very helpful. The beds were super comfortable. A Breakfast was provided as well as drinking water and tea/coffee facilities. I would come again to stay here and will let others who come to Ayhutthaya know about the place.

There was nothing I didn't like

The property is really close to the Ayutthaya archeological park and the staff was very welcoming. We had the Thai breakfast, which was a delicious rice soup with pork and veggies.

There are hardly any walls, so if people in the room next door or outside are loud, you will definitely hear it.

The property was in a great location to the sites, places to eat and night markets. There were 3 rooms that all had bathrooms and could be used privately. But booked them all, as we are a family of 5. There was air con in each room, which we great appreciated after looking around the ruins. It was very clean and comfortable. Breakfast and the staff were lovely. Thank you.

We took the 4 bedroom house for a gathering of friends and had a great time here. The accommodations were exceptional for the cost and the staff was great. The well rounded breakfast included was beautifully presented. Bicycles were available for use. Location in the heart of old downtown Ayutthaya was perfect for exploring the traditional markets on foot or only a short tuktuk ride to the ancient ruins. All this in a peaceful garden like setting with free parking. Would stay here again...

the staff is very nice and helps you with anything you need the house and rooms are very cost and full of charm the location is great to wander around the city

communication is difficult so I advise you to take an application to speak with anyone because English is not much spoken the bathrooms are quite old and showers not always easy to use
