This hotel, the staff, the location, made us fall in love with thailand. Our first visit and we plan to stay here again. To share some information that I was looking for before the trip but couldnt find, to help anyone: Every room has a shattaf/butt gun hose/bidet. Decent pressure. breakfast buffet is very good, I dont understand the negative reviews. Its smaller than, say, luxury resorts, but has a good variety and halal options. There is always a counter filled with salad options, always 3 different kinds of eggs, always beef, chicken, noodles, veg, pastries, coffee, cold water, etc. Staff is amazing and helpful. Everyone not just in the hotel, but around speaks english. there isnt exactly a beach view from the rooms, but all you have to do is walk a few steps and patong beach is right in front of you with a world of options. Jet ski, food, drinks, beach side massage. 7/11, smoke shops, markets, subway sandwiches, arabic restaurants pharmacies, starbucks, thai food, coconuts, clothes, snacks, foot massage places, literally everything, is steps away. Truly anything you will need is steps away. bangla road is a 5 minute walk. If you have mobility issues, there are 2 bridges that go over the pool that are hard to step across. But if you enter the front of the hotel near the spa, and stay to the left, you will find a secret elevator that will take you to your room without having to use the bridges. Also, the hotel has a side enterance that takes you right to the lobby. But the steps are a bit steep. Easier than the 2 bridges for me. Great AC. Nice pool view. every room has a kettle and a mini fridge. The mini fridge is cool but not COLD. If youre like me and need ice cold drinks, walk the few steps to the little 7 /11 or the mini mart next to subway and fill up a few giant cups with their ice machine. NUGGET PELLET ICE. tour package stands everywhere.

The rooms with direct pool access on the bottom floor sounds tempting and are pricier, but theyre honestly nothing special. You have absolutely no privacy in those rooms. Everyone swimming and walking by can look right into them unless your curtians are shut. I was on the 4th floor but spoke to people on the bottom pool side floor who complained about this. And yes swimming in the pool I could see inside every room with pool access. Do not keep ANYTHING provided from the room. There are bags and slippers and such to use but MUST be left in room when you check out. Also the room key cards must be returned or you will be charged.

Surrounded by attractions and amenities, I could easily walk to everything without needing transportation. It added a sense of convenience and spontaneity to my stay, allowing me to fully immerse myself in the vibrant energy of the city. If you want a hotel that puts you in the heart of the action, Baan Laimai is the perfect choice. What truly stood out, however, was the staff. Their friendliness and attentiveness made me feel right at home. They went above and beyond to ensure that every aspect of my stay was comfortable and enjoyable. Their genuine smiles and willingness to assist truly made a difference. One unique feature of Baan Laimai that I particularly appreciated was their washing cloth area. It may seem like a small detail, but having a designated space to freshen up my clothes was incredibly convenient and thoughtful. Overall, my experience at Baan Laimai was nothing short of remarkable. Delicious food, breathtaking surroundings, friendly staff, and thoughtful amenities make it a standout choice for anyone looking for a memorable stay. I can't wait to return!

One downside of my stay at Baan laimai was the presence of a notable number of flies. While the hotel offered many positives, including great food and a friendly staff, the issue with flies was noticeable and detracted from the overall experience. It's something to be aware of for future guests.

Great staff. Perfect location if you like Phuket. Live music and restaurant beachfront.

2 things: 1. Rooms facing the pool became peep varandahs for girls sun-baking. 2. Many groups of men staying here. Some from Aramaic speaking countries that were disrespectful to other people wanting to sleep. Many nights these men shouted across the verandahs to each other and talked loudly on their mobiles until 6 am….at which time they went to sleep. Security were there when a complaint was made. However, it was such loud consistent behaviour that should have been curbed from 11pm by staff, without the need for complaints. Maybe this is not recurrent but it was in our stay.

Breakfast was lovely, the open air setting with views of the beach were superb. The room was significantly larger than we expected, it had lots of storage areas, a sofa and coffee table and a dressing table with huge mirror. The bed was huge and etxremely comfortable. Our room was cleaned daily and towels and bottled water were replaced on a daily basis. The water pressure in the shower was great. The room came ready with beach bag, beach towels, flip flops all of which were high quality.

The staff at the front desk are probably a bit direct for us brits, I think this is mainly down to the language barrier, however they do make every effort to understand. The hotel is very particular about any damage to the rooms and they do check thoroughly before you check out. Its best to report any defects upon arrival or as you become aware of them. One of our silk bath robes had a damaged belt loop so we reported it on the first day, it was replaced immediately and there was no charge to us.

This place was awesome, the convenience of the location to the main shopping and party streets. Just opposite the beautiful Patong beach. Close to many travel agencies and pubs. Lots of transport available.

The room (second floor, balcony to the pool) was big, clean, and modern, we loved everything about it! The pool was amazing too. The food at the restaurant was very tasty and the breakfast buffet highly recommended! It was the perfect place to relax. One street away from the beach and walking distance from so many restaurants and bars, yet completely quiet inside of the room.

I wouldn't recommend a room next to the pool (either you don't mind about your privacy or just keep the blinds closed the whole time). Happy we didn't stay in one of those rooms 😊.

Property location was great, directly across from the beach and a short walk to Bangla Walking street. Most rooms have a partial ocean view which is nice. Buffet breakfast has a great selection each morning and the meals from the restaurant were good with large portions.

There was construction going on which we weren’t aware of and an unfortunate smell outside the lift to our level. Our garden view room was above the restaurant which was very loud and noisy until about 12-1am every night (cheapest option but do not recommend garden view). There was also illegal fireworks on the beach out front every night (no fault of the hotel but very annoying non the less).

Great staff and the breakfast has a good selection and location. The room was spacious .

After asking 3 times in as many days that the shower was at room temperature only . “NO HOT WATER” This was never fixed . The staff made promises they could not keep . I have stayed at this hotel for 4 other visits and the showers were always hot . Not sure why this has happened ?? I am disappointed ☹️

Great location, great value! Extremely clean and the staff was great.

Not guest friendly. Even if you book 1 room, 2 guest they still make you pay $1000 baht a night to have a friend over unless you check that 1 person in upon your arrival. Because of that I will not return.

Locatipn and poolside, breakfast very good so also restaurant.

The poolbottom in some area is damaged and missing tiles gives sharp cutting edges. Risk for damaged foots are impending and happened to 2 of us. Should be repaired and damaged areas closed until fixed. No warning signs.
