The location of the hotel is great, right on the beach and next to shops, restaurants and fruits stands. I also enjoyed the hotel facilities- the pool, the massage places and the restaurants. The hotel provided also sun beds and towels. The hotel staff was very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was tasty and variate, including fresh local fruits. In the restaurant, there were organized festive and thematic dinners, with entertainment and good food. Our room was spacious and clean, with view to the pool and tropical garden, with good isolation from outside noise. Overall, the hotel is good value for money.

The air conditioning in the room was centrally set on very cold temperature and could not be modified from inside the room. To ensure a pleasant temperature, it was needed sometime to open the windows to get some hot air. The WI-FI had some downtime in the peak hours when many users were connected.

The hotel staff were excellent and well prepared for our visit. Our room was very good, clean and comfortable. Unfortunately, we were only there for a night. The hotel is in a very good location with restaurants across the road and the beach on the doorstep literally. I’d recommend the hotel as a good place to stay.

No lift to upper floors so if your lugagge is heavy or you have multiple pieces it’s a small piece of hard work to get it to your room.

Lovely rooms, two large and excellent pools, plus a little one for the kids. Breakfast was great. Amazing massage. Staff were fantastic, typical Thai hospitality which was lovely. It was wonderful to be back in Thailand after so long, especially with Covid in between, and this place did not disappoint. There are a few really nice restaurants very nearby, shout out to the Siam Mumbai and one next door which had bungalows and a pool which I think was called La Maison or something like that. Also, Beer Garden was good and the owners very friendly. Bangtao was quiet, being the off season and travel just having opened fully, but there were a few people about. To be noted, this hotel doesn't have beds actually on the beach as the tide gets really high at this part, but it has beds on a raised banking right next to the beach. Overall a great hotel and we enjoyed our stay very much.

Nothing really, I would just say that the steps down to the beach are not for the faint hearted, but if need be you can walk round the road to a more accessible beach access.

The seaside restaurant

Evening buffet very poor, themed evenings ridiculous no Thai green curry or Tom yam soup on Thai nights, bbq night had kebabs cooked in kitchen no bbq to speak of. They Put instructions not to reserve sun loungers before 9.30 but did not enforce it making it virtually impossible to find a lounger by 9.15

The breakfast was excellent with large variety. The two big pools were also great. It was nice to be able to walk on the beach which is with nice fine sand.

The sea water was not very clear, at least during our stay.

Bangtao resort filled us with so many beautiful moments that we're going to cherish for a lifetime. The room that we were given was great with the unique view of Bangtao Beach and the pool straight away from our bedroom! We were really happy from the staff's manners and their all time urge to help us with direct tips for our exploration of Phuket! The same feelings accompany. our view towards the services and the amenities that we were offered during our 5 day stay in the hotel, including the restaurant and the thai massage that left us amazed.

Coffee could be better.

We stayed at the hotel on 11/2022 with my husband. We were looking for a quiet, peaceful and clean environment right by the beach. This hotel fulfilled our expectations. What bothered us a little was the gently sloping access to the beach, as there are stone steps in front of the hotel, which are difficult to get to the sea at high tide. From the food we ordered only breakfast, which was rich and very tasty. Lunch or dinner we enjoyed in local restaurants, where the service was very nice and the local cuisine tasty. The hotel complex was clean and very well maintained. I recommend the hotel, for visitors who are looking for rest, relaxation without noise. Zuzana

Couldn't really wish more for breakfast, a wide selection of everything from full english to asian style, and amazing omelets by friendly chefs on top. We had breakfast for hours after early morning runs on the beach, and felt life is pretty good. Good mix of guest from all over the world. Friendly staff and sunbeds with beach view without having to occupy them at sunrise. I'd be happy to revisit this place....

...would revisit..... if it wasn't for the gym. A tiny room, over crowded if four people enters. It's a material downside to anyone keen to combine holiday with excercise.

The hotel is nice . Stuff is friendly and helpful. The atmosphere also nice and it’s Asian style of houses , that why I like it. The view from our balcony was awesome

The property is kinda old ) the ac is too loud and so cold and can’t regulate it. The sockets are not working properly, only one out of 4 was ok. Also the beach was dirty, I mean the sea wasn’t clean , we swim only 2 days out of 7 If you non driving it will be kinda far . Sometimes I was traveling to tourist places 1 hour from there and it kinda long and costly.

The location is good—near the beach, everything is nearby, and the staff is friendly except the front desk staff.

The front desk staff's behaviour could be more patient in answering the question. I have received a letter from the hotel, and they say to enclose a bill and want me to check and confirm the bill. I could not find the bill, so I went to the front desk and asked the staff, but they repeated it three times, saying they just wanted me to know the check-out time. No matter what I ask, they don't want to answer. The WiFi needs to improve. When I was watching YouTube, the WiFi would suddenly disconnect.
