Arnold and his staff went the extra mile to make sure all our needs were met. location was brilliant - right on the beach. It's not Club Med so don't expect those amenities but if you want a relaxing, carefree holiday this is the place.

breakfast was generally good - but why you serve cheese in a high end hotel like this - in a under average level? i am from Switzerland - Europeans like real cheese - maybe you should let you recommend by some experts - i would help - will import cheese - in my future - because many hotels serve cheese in a really poor quality - and they have international guests like you - so please let the guest feel you care for him also on this. also i was disapointed about the fruits - you are the country with the most wonderful fruits - the variety was poor on the breakfast buffet - don‘t understand this

A lovely warm welcome from the host. Throughout our stay he couldn't have been more friendly and helpful. Plenty of fresh fruit with breakfast was great. The location is brilliant. The hotel sits directly at a section of the beach which is almost private. The gardens are beautiful and add to the calming atmosphere around the hotel.

A Thai option with breakfast would have been great. This is a very minor gripe. We thoroughly enjoyed our breakfasts looking out onto the sea. This hotel is not as fancy as some of its neighbours but would suit anyone who, like us, prefers their accommodation to be down to earth, homely and to include a personal feel.

Lovely little bungalows set back from the beach in beautifully maintained gardens. Room was very tastefully decorated - comfy bed, good aircon - everything you need. Location is great - the beach is fine (not great) but the best beach in Phuket is 5 mins drive away.

garden view is amazing. Sea and beach is close. Dinner and breakfast have good sea view. Very good massage, outside with view on the sea with kind, professional masseuses. Very good dinner. Kind hotel staff, very helpful. Nice welcome with coconut juice. Garden is well maintained. Excellent to sit outside with an amazing view on this garden and the sea. Good shower with big bathroom, but old. We enjoyed our stay!

The American breakfast: eggs not baked well, I don't like sausage. I prefer a buffet or at least more options. Give the option for local, Asian breakfast. I'm not an American, but a European. Thai dinner was good. The bedroom/villa is already old. My suggestion: make sure that the doors can lock well. There was no safety box. Besides these negative aspects, we still enjoyed our stay!!

A down-to-earth little beachfront resort with a lot of greenery around and an excellent view. Our hut was cozy and spacious. The American breakfast wasn't very impressive but the fruit platter every morning was great! The staff were friendly and pleasant.

Restaurant is amazing, the best Thai food I have ever had.

Surin beach, located 15 min away from the resort is way better than Bag Tao beach.

We loved the location, the bungalow was quirky & rustic, and beach front view was amazing! The staff were friendly, especially the manager, gardener & my massage from Jenny at the bungalows was professional & incredible! The best I have ever had! Thanks for having us, we'll be back!

Only that on the first night we were offered the superior suite room that I hadn't booked on this site, it was larger but not what I had wanted and the bed was rock hard so no sleep on the first night. It was rectified quickly though, & our remaining stay was in the beach front room & was much more comfortable. Overall no complaints. We enjoyed the area & location close to all restaurants & on the beach. Breakfast was good & staff work hard & were efficient. There's a beautiful swimming beach nearby in Surin, which we frequented & really loved!

We had 2 “beach huts” and they were a treat. Simple but charming. Right on the beach, albeit not the nicest section of beach. You need to keep in mind that this is a genuine ‘local’ property. The staff that we interacted with were outstanding. Arnold & Amal. Very helpful and obliging. Tons of fresh-cut fruit at breakfast.

The entrance is a bit of a let down for the property. Other guests agreed that when you first arrive it looks a bit run down in the entrance.
