I loved the pool - the staff at the pool bar were excellent. Breakfast had a lovely selection of European food as well as some thai food and treats, fruit and smoothies to try. We did the cooking course at the hotel, the cooking part was excellent - we thought that we would be buying the ingredients at the market - but this wasn't the case - i think this part of the tour is not necessary but all in all it was a great experience learning how to cook Thai food with the patient chefs. I appreciated the bamboo toothbrush in the room kits - i think this was a nice touch and sustainable. I would like to thank Oil for her help with check in, Cindy and Alvin (?) for my very efficient early morning check out, and to the drivers from the hotel who drove me there from the airport and back again, i would like to extend my appreciation.

The airconditioners were very cold in the bathrooms next to the restaurant and pool. There were a few things like bottles etc that were lying around longer than should be. But all in all it was a nice stay and not much else went wrong for me.

You greeted with a smile by friendly staff. The reception areas welcoming and you given welcome drinks and cold towels. The room is very nice and the bed quite comfortable.

To get to my room it was quite a room walk. At night I walking along corridor to my room I felt unsafe, it seems a long walk with no one in sight lack of lighting.

Lots of options for breakfast, the pool bar staff were very helpful and happy to give restaurant recommendations. The hotel was a little bit further from the beach than expected, but still within walking distance. Would recommend eating out each night as the dinner options in the hotel restaurant were quite expensive compared to what you could get at local restaurants.

More affordable lunch and dinner options. The kids pool slide got taken away during our stay. Being able to use apps like Netflix/Amazon Prime on TV.

Breakfast area was overcrowded, we missed breakfast twice due to the area being full and no tables available.

Great check-in experience; they check us in fast and a little early. The hotel and the rooms are spotless and lovely hotel. The staff is accommodating and attentive. The front desk is excellent and professional. We got upgraded to 2 bedroom villa, and it was fantastic, spacious, and it has its own pool. Thank you soo much, Mercure and the front office manager, for the great offer. We appreciated it.

The location is good and the staff were amazing. The vila was nicely arranged and the furniture was nice and clean. The service was good along with the staff.

The breakfast didn’t have the variety for the tourists. It can be improved.

Great hotel with a very good restaurant and exceptional breakfast, the room was spacious and cleaned on a daily basis. Overall I would highly recommend this hotel if you're staying in Patong area.

The lighting in the room was a bit too dim, especially in the bathroom. One downside of staying in Patong is that you do need to catch a taxi to visit a nice beach, Patong beach is not worth it unless you're doing water sports such as jet ski, hence it would be nice if the hotel provided a shuttle bus to a better beach.

Everything! Loved our stay. The breakfast was fantastic, one of the best buffets we have ever had. We had a pool access room, we had to move after the first night as our first room was in the corner and infested with mosquitoes. 2nd room was brilliant and minimal mosquitoes. Every staff member we encountered was beautiful, kind, happy, friendly and helpful. Bess, Jasmine and Ryan at breakfast were bloody brilliant. After 2 days my hubby didn't even have to ask for his cafe latte, Jasmine had it on the table waiting for him before he had sat down. I can't empathise enough how much the staff influenced our stay.

Mosquitoes can be a problem in the pool access rooms in the corner with all the plants. I'm not complaining, but the rooms are smaller, BUT this slight inconvenience is outwayed by the staff. Mattress is hard but I asked for a overlay and it helped.
