The hotel has always been of a high standard.

Fighting for sunbeds :-( at 8:00 in the morning there are no more free places by the pool, everyone puts down a towel in the morning and does not show up all day, the staff does not clean unused places during the day. Something should be done about it.

Secluded, private, great security considering the location proximity to Patong. Decent kids club (could use a bit of an upkeep considering it’s so popular with families), great pools, private beach and excellent spread for breakfast. Staff are really friendly too. Their onsite restaurants are great too.

Getting in and out of the hotel is a big expensive, because it’s so secluded. Something to consider if you’re going to be out and about in Phuket.

It has an absolutely exotic location, where two small hills isolate the beach on two sides - making the hotel's beach completely private . Its also a very pretty stretch of beach with the only downside being jelly fish , but thats nature and don't think the hotel can do much about it anyways . There are several pools and one of them is massisve - and its great to spend time swimming in the sea and then get back to the pools and poolside to rest up. Though the rooms are a bit dated - but its made up by the extra space , the balcony and great quality of housekeeping. In general the food was excellent , including breakfast buffet . However I must mention the japanese restaurant - its was a class apart with fantastic food and service and most evenings we landed up there. After having had 5-6 meals there I could not point out a single dish or dining experience that was sub-par. Can recommend if you like japanese food.

There is really nothing to complain about the hotel . The only factor could be its slightly isolated location which makes it a pain to access the happening areas - either on patong side or karon side. Transport is available but they charge 300 Bhat for a drop and the same while getting back. This starts adding up to a tidy sum in a few days and is bit of an irritant - I would really recommend the hotel to do a few complimentary trips ( say to Jungceylon mall and karon centre ) a few times each day which would largely resolve this and show the hotel's commitment to guest comfort.

Beach

AC in common areas was non existent such as reception, walking hallways, etc. We also hated it that not even juices or soft drinks are included as part of buffet. That was super illogical to us.

If you're like me - and like having top luxury close by (like walking out of the hotel room onto the beach), this is the resort for you. For me, the beach proximity and cleanliness (and swimmability) was a big draw. All the other luxury (service ,room, restaurants), were just icing on the cake. Half of the morning was spent 'wave crashing' and swimming on sunning on the beach. This was a repeat visit (first visit being over 10 years ago). The beach is as pristine as I remember it - as were the hotel facilities. The staff - well thai hospitality at it's best. With the hotel being at full capacity, we were expecting a few glitches/ delays, but everything was up to par and speedy (we asked for multiple items to be room delivered). The breakfast buffet is belly busting, as are the nightly dinner buffets. We ate mostly at the main restaurant by the lobby entrance, which had a multi cuisine menu - we tried indian, thai and some soups there - and were happy with each entree. We also ate Pizzas and Calzones and some drinks at the La Fiamma - which always delivered. To get to town was a flat rate of 300 baht by AC taxi. Oh - the rooms had quality mineral water for free, which was a nice touch. Also used the gym twice - once as part of a yoga class, which was excellent. Tour desk being right on property helped us with a Phi Phi island tour, we managed to get spots even less than 24 hours in advance. The shops inside the hotel are fairly high quality - we met a nice Italian boutique owner, where the wife got a nice dress. There's a whole swimwear selection , in case you've forgotten something. There's a spa which we did not try. We would take the taxi to Patong for our daily massages. Once you see the difference between Patong and this beach (Karon..), if you are like me, you will happily pay for the privacy and the additional cleanliness.

The hotel was FULL - but that's because it was peak season, xmas time. Some people kept smoking around the pool beach area, even though smoking isn't allowed. We had to politely ask them to shut it down, multiple times.

It’s our second time visiting the resort as it is without a doubt the most relaxing beautiful secluded resort away from the city but close enough by car. The staff are very welcoming and helpful. There was a beautiful welcome back setup in the room. We had a beautiful semi greenery semi ocean view. The beds were extremely comfortable and big in size compared to other hotels. Air conditioning was amazing and the rooms were clean. There are big kiddie pools where you can sit back and not have to worry. The beach is private and is quite big for everyone to enjoy!

The morning breakfast could at least end at 11am and perhaps offer a wider variety. The breakfast menu is exactly the same as it was the last time we visited 4 years ago. It would be nice to have a free shuttle service to and from Patong. It will also be nice if they provided in-resort activities for the kids or have some water slides for them to play with.

The room was excellent, with a stunning view of the pool and ocean. The pools were large and had different depths, making them suitable for people of all ages. The service was outstanding, with towels arriving within a minute of being requested. The resort was huge and offered a variety of activities, ensuring that there was something for everyone. The beach was breathtaking, with the waves crashing against the shore. The pizza and spaghetti were also delicious, and I would definitely recommend them to anyone staying at the resort.

The reception area was always crowded, regardless of the time of day. The breakfast area was also crowded, with long queues for the live cooking stations.

We loved our beautiful junior suite pool view room. Amazing hotel with huge pools and beautiful ocean views. Fantastic customer service and restaurants.. Breakfast was fantastic.. Private beach. We loved everything.. We came back to visit and celebrate our 25th year wedding anniversary.. Was so nice to be back after so long.. Highly recommend..

The Hotel loc is absolutely great with a private beach. I stayed 2 nights and it was a well-spent night with beautiful views, and facilities of the hotel including an exceptional fire show. Swimming pools are awesome, can be used by all ages and many more things in this hotel which I couldn't use all during my stay.

Gov tax and city tax must be mentioned during booking, not in the front. 11% is huge money for the total cost of the room. The value of the money is generally slightly high.

The location is excellent, the staff super friendly, wonderful private beach

Though not part of the main hotel ,the team that sales drinks and fruits on the beach could be cleaner
