We rested at the hotel for 8 days, after an intense wedding in Australia Our villa had a terrace and had a beautiful view of the ocean , all around it was quiet and peaceful, only the sounds of birds and insects. The room is spacious with a large bed, the bathroom is simple and comfortable. The hotel has two swimming pools, which are refreshing on a hot day. The hotel staff is very professional and helpful, 10*. We take advantage of the trips offered to us around the island of Phuket, which were organized for us by the hotel employee (thanks to her). Would stay again and recommend to your family and friends

Friendly staff, beautiful views and delicious breakfast.

The location on the cliff makes it hard to get to the beach (you can rely on a shuttle at limited times or walk down a jungle path for 10mins, which is not ideal if you are not fit). The gate for the path closes at 6pm so the only way back is via taxi or Tuk tuk. We found it to be a bit too far away from all the shops and restaurants

The villa is big enough. We had an ocean view, which was spectacular and had a view on all Karon beach. The pool area is nice and very relaxing, fills like a tropical garden. The breakfast was also good, although it has the same variety every day. The location is also great if you rent a bike, otherwise you have to take a tuktuk for 200 bht per person every time you want to go to the Karon or Patong city. The personnel is very helpful and smiling and made our stay very enjoyable.

You should take into account your personal physical shape as the resort is located on the hill and has a lot of stairs in order to move from one place to another.

The location is good. Quiet place with excellent sea view. Centara Villa is supported by Centara Grand Hotel in using their facilities. That makes the Centara Villa value for money.

Improve room facilities, especially main door. Also water leaked in bathroom from roof. Although not significant but should take care off. Good morning

the location is amazing, it over looks Karon Beach, great views. The resort is very private no one other than guests can enter. The villas are all separate with a veranda and seating area outside, ours weren’t overlooked. it’s very quiet just the sounds of nature, no traffic. The gardens are very lush and home to many beautiful butterflies and fire flies. The pools are nicely shaded in parts by the gardens.it really is beautiful.

For me nothing. The resort is built on a hill and there is a car pick up service if you don’t want to walk up and down.

We loved the views from just about anywhere on the property and the lush greenery that surrounded everything. The staff was helpful and friendly, they were the best. The pool areas were fabulous and cool, shaded by the trees.

My only minor complaint is the verticality of the property, but if you were young and buffed, or were willing to wait for the tuck tuck, which we did, there were no problems. The view, drinks, and dining from the top were fabulous. 

The private pool villa comes with a surprisingly large and clean pool and additional private outdoor space to relax and enjoy (two sun loungers plus parasol, two chairs and small table). The view from our villa was fantastic, which may be the luck of the draw because we noticed other pool villas were situated closer to the spa building. The staff are very friendly and always do their best even with language barriers. Housekeeping came daily on a reliable schedule and would also return at a later time if the initial visit was not at the right moment. They would also be willing to provide additional clean towels on request. Great water pressure in the shower. Handy to have the public pathway to the beach. Although I did not use the hotel pool, it looked very clean, calm, and inviting from what I could see.

The hotel is perhaps a little bit dated and this can be seen in some spots, but generally it is in good shape for a 4 star property in Thailand. For example, the room finishes are quite basic and the terrace lounge chairs had seen better times. The reception area as well as the Cliff restaurant were not very inviting and lacked some ambiance however the meal I had there was good.

Very friendly and helpful staff; went beyond requirements. Beautiful well kept gardens and setting with great views of the ocean. Rooms large and spacious with comfy bed. Excellent shower. Breakfast was plentiful and taken in the restaurant/bar overlooking the sea and Karon Beach. Good deals at Happy hour in the bar. The massage at the spa was excellent.

Rooms could probably do with some TLC although roomy and comfortable. Lots of steps up and down to reception and to the pool although good for exercise not disability friendly. Transport was provided, just needed to buzz reception, but the elderly, infirm or those with disabilities would not be able to get into the Tuk Tuks used for transportation

Stunning location, awe-inspiring views, very private and comfortable villas with great beds and good AC and curtains to guarantee a good nights sleep. The serenity of this place is incredible. Lovely staff, excellent buffet breakfast and food offering, we loved every minute of our stay and highly recommend it. Perched on a cliff top, the resort is nestled amongst lush well maintained tropical gardens. The two pools are at the bottom of the property, set in a beautiful lush area overlooking the sea and Karon Beach. You’ll get fit here, the stairs are a killer at first! But so worth it. Be mindful it is a lovely 40 minute walk to shops and restaurants via the beach from the bottom of the property. A shuttle bus runs to Karon Beach throughout the day.

Can’t pick a single thing!

The hotel is very quaint. Staff are nice. All the bungalows are cut into the hillside with wandering pathways and stairs. There is a Tuk Tuk that can pick up and drop off. The rooms are very private, well appointed, good internet, TV and bathroom. Our was halfway between the pool and the reception / restaurant. The best aspect was being able to walk to the sister resort down the beach path. Provided there is space you can use sunloungers. All facities in the resort can be used including the water slides, lazy river, restaurants, swim up bar.
