The resort is located 30 mins away from Patong beach and 5-10 mins away from Rassada pier. It is a beautiful resort with very helpful and polite staff. The ambience is quiet and peaceful and away from the hustle and bustle of the main city centre and beach area. You can always take a cab/ book a grab taxi to and from the hotel to travel anywhere in the city. The location is favorable if you have to take a ferry to go to phi phi, krabi or other islands because the pier is nearby. The rooms are spacious and have all facilities. They provide extra towels, an umbrella and a pair of slippers to use at the pool/ beach. The rooms come with a private pool area. The breakfast included in the room rent is delicious and wholesome. We had a pleasant stay at the hotel.

Location was perfect for our purposes which was basically somewhere to stop for 2 nights following a flight from UK with the intention of gettibg a speedboat to Koh Lanta the following morning. Very pleasantly surprised to find a very priuvate plunge pool at the rear of our room, which I wasn't expecting. Perfect after a long flight. The main swimming pool was immediately in front of our room with a number of loungers on both sides. A nice place to spend the afternoon after a good lie in. Very comfortable beds. Just down the road we found an excellent and very cheap restaurant that seemed mainly to cater for locals buying takeaways which we took to be a good sign of quality. Breakfast fairly standard with the ubiquitous excellent eggs Really really good mango lassis served at the pool bar. Best we had all holiday 5 minutes taxi ride to the Rassada Pier. Will definitely stay here again if doing same trip.

Would have been nice if the pool bar had been manned all of the time. Some snacks and beers would have been nice but hey, it's Thailand, and nowhere is ever quite perfect.

I loved having a private pool! It's always been a dream of mine! The room was huge and comfortable with a beautiful bathroom. The staff was sp kind!

It's in the middle of nowhere! Perfect for a couples weekend away. Luckily you can get a Grab or Bolt for really cheap if you need to go most places. The restaraunt and pool bar wasn't open. It seemed pretty deserted. But probably because the locations isn't prime. I wish the pool came with a net so I could clean it myself in the mornings. The second day there were too many little critters for me to want to get in but I would have happily cleaned it myself.

We simply love the quietness, spacious and fabulous room, especially with a private pool. Even though location isn't all ideal, nonetheless it was easy enough to get around with a GRAB car or a bike. Room size was excellent, pool water temperature was prefect. Outdoor shower was great. Staff are really nice people. Helpful, and friendly. We really enjoyed the old town area too. Highly recommended.

Breakfast could be better. Wish they've at least a coffee/latte/cappuccino option instead of instant coffee only.

Everything! - we stayed for two nights only, before traveling further in Thailand. The hotel exceeded my expectations - the staff - oh, so nice and accommodating girls at the reception - helped us with everything - our tours, transfers, some local advices - everything with a smile and sincere willingness to help and make our stay even better! Great breakfast. Amazing swimming pool outside of the room, and great private pool in the backyard. The location was excellent for us, as we only wanted to travel around Phuket and then take a ferry - the Rassada pier is very close to the hotel. 7-eleven is nearby, for all the immediate necessities. 20-minutes long drive to Phuket Old Town. Warmest recommendations for the resort!!!

Restaurant service can be improved

I'm staying at Malabar Pool Villa. It has an excellent, long pool that's usually quite free - so you can really swim, it's no paddling pool. But it also has a bar at one end if you want to take it easy. There's also a private jacuzzi in the room, which is sizable. At night the ambiance out by the jacuzzi is serene and lovely. The room is pleasant and spacious. Generally this strikes me as a serene environment that's family-friendly or just a haven for the introverts among us. This hotel is towards the eastern coast, meaning it's not in a touristy area. There are amenities close by (shops, a few places to eat) but the vibe is definitely not touristy, rather it's authentic and local which has a charm to it, with friendly people who want to chat and to help out. A bit of a journey (an hour or so) to get across to the western coast where the main beaches etc are, and around 20 minutes to get to Phuket Old Town and other inland parts of Phuket. But I think that the serenity and pleasantness of the hotel, and the great pool, more than make up for that and I'd recommend this place especially if you're having a low-key holiday and are planning on just spending time by the pool.

A beautiful place with clean spacious rooms. It was located in a quiet area far from the famous areas and beaches. We had a car so that didn't bother much. Very close to the ferry pier for Phi Phi Islands. Super helpful staff.

The water supply in the tap stopped one morning. The manager only realized after we complained. It took half an hour for the supply to resume. That was quite frustrating.

It is a lovely place to stay perk was having a plunge pool

The breakfast area is not able to cater for many tables maybe like 7 rooms only at a time. We were fine most days but last day we have to eat outside at the bar pool which is found a big inconvenience with the food buffet being inside and also the heat ! Also found not much to choose from breakfast. The waiter/cook/server takes an order mainly for omelet with different add ons and also there are noodles but very little choice.
