Great location

Had a mosquito problem Too much chlorine in the pool staff are very attentive but it could really do with a deep clean in rooms and lifts. The floor in our room wasn't mopped once, during a three week stay, the shower curtain and toilet curtains needed a good clean or replaced. Fingerprints on windows from previous guests.... We were in a superior room which is beautiful on first impressions until you actually stay in it and realise that room needs some TLC overall a nice place just needs some better consistency with cleaning and consistency. Staff are all very pleasant good breakfast selection.

Rooms were really nicely thought out and very clean and spacious. pool access was just lovely. Beautiful place to stay and very comfortable !! 10 min max to beach and they have bicycles to ride there. the area is super cute with quite a few eating places.

I had read other reviews about the staff being unfriendly so was interested to see if this was the case and unfortunately it was. Im not sure why, but you feel like everything is an annoyance for them. I did see another traveller get into an argument and I know it can’t be easy dealing with tourists all the time but they don’t make it easy for people, and stuggle with a simple smile. This person was probably frustrated at the lack of acknowledgment. There maybe something more behind the staff lack of enthusiasm that management need to look into. This was the only place I experienced this in the 4 places I stayed in the time I was there. Its a shame as the hotel is a otherwise a lovely place to stay, and a winner if you need to kill a night before a flight.

Overall is good. Room is very clean. We could request to have connecting room too. Unfortunately, I didn't have a chance to try the restaurant and swimming pool there.

Shower head - when you turn the tab to have water running, the shower head is thin and long, it keeps turning and it would wet my stuff or outside the room. So you need to hold it when you have a shower.

I stayed in this hotel for 1 nite for business purposes. This hotel is absolutely gorgeous. I booked a room with pool access on the 1st floor. The room is clean, and they even have a rattan made holder for mobile phone and ipad for you to put your stuff to move around. I was also impressed that there is also a bottle of hand sanitizer for the guests. Their hotel lobby is impressive with engraved ceiling, lots of greenery and bicycles for the guests to ride to the beach nearby. Their cafe, Angku Cafe ( which in Malaysian also means a type of pastry made of yellow bean wrapped in red skin made of flour, it is more of the cakes/ pastries from the Nyonya community. ) The restaurant decor has batik cloth wrapped around their vases/ pots, nicely built wall cabinet and well decorated. Their food is also well presented. I just love the cafe decoration and interior design!

Lovely hotel, very close to the airport and a very nice beach. A perfect location to start our Thailand trip. Very silent place. Comfortable beds.

A bit sad breakfast but this was really not an issue for us.

Newish hotel, well kept grounds nice pool areas & plenty of sun beds. Good sized rooms with nice balcony, very comfortable bed, good shower, clean, no noise good lifts. No complaints

The service was poor in general but abysmal at breakfast. At 9.15 ish there would not be a clean table anywhere, had to ask to get tables cleared daily to sit down. Ran out of plates, cutlery etc. Reasonable choice of nice food for hotel grade western & Thai. Reception staff bit abrupt. Pool bar closed had to search & go to reception to order, needs a sign on the bar & a waiter walking round occasionally. 2/3 times had to ring to get room serviced. Think they are short of staff in general or lack training or both.

Breakfast in the coffee shop was superb ! Maybe have some real butter :)

Great position with many things right on your doorstep. Rooms were very clean, modern and big and bright.

Unfortunately the breakfast was very disappointing. The service was slow. Selection not great. Tried it twice over a month apart and it is not recommended by us. The cost was Baht 300 per person but would not do it again. The restaurant was very slow with service of iced coffees and not friendly. One table had a glass slip, fall and break on the floor. No one came to clean up the mess or move the patrons. We all waited and no one did anything to assist. We wouldn't go to the restaurant again either.
