We love the room with direct access to pool and beach access really easy only 200m walk. The beach is nice and clean. Loving the vibe all around.

Actually the breakfast needs more variety. I eat the same breakfast everyday.

We got a room with pool access and it was wonderful, highly recommend paying a little more for this. We had a fantastic relaxing time in the pool with cocktails and new friends. Breakfast was a lovely daily treat, personalized omelette made my every morning along with the croissants and danishes. I loved the extras like free water whenever I asked for it and games of table tennis. Perfect location, away from the hustle of Patong but close enough to visit in a tuktuk with the flashing lights and loud music. The beach is only a 2 min walk and heaps of restaurants and bars nearby to enjoy. Everyone was so friendly. Can’t wait to come back!

The location alone makes this place perfect. It sits right across from Karon Beach, surrounded by shopping and food... Tuk Tuks line the street and will get you anywhere you need to go. We were no more than 25min from each the Monkey Hill Viewpoint, Elephant Jungle Sanctuary, Phuket Central mall and Aquarium, and the Patong Boxing Stadium. We had a pool access room. The room was super clean and the housekeeping was fantastic and friendly. It was a spacious room with comfortable beds, a stand-alone tub, and a mini bar. Our own deck with table and chairs and its own tiled stairs into the pool along with a water massage chair completed our desires. Swim or relax in the water whenever you like. The room service isn't around the clock like you might find in a big-name chain hotel, but the quality and price of the food more than makes up for it. The staff were amazingly welcoming. They worked to accommodate us in whatever way they could. The best part for me was how each of them took even just a moment of their time to play or joke with my four year old. Making him feel welcome and comfortable and seeing the joy light up on his face in response to the staff made the Old Phuket a true gem. Hands-down the best vacation my family has had and The Old Phuket played a very large role in that experience.

The pool bar was slighltly untrained and took a bit long to get drinks. That's really more nit-picky than anything. We really had an amazing time here.

The location is ideal. Just a bit back from the beach with an easy walk across. Lots of food options on the way to the beach. The pool access room in the serene wing is great. Step directly in the pool. The staff is wonderful and always helpful.

I was disappointed that only the serene wing was open.

the buffet breakfast was very limited. no doubt due to the lack of guests. we had stayed in another hotel that had removed the buffet and went for an unlimited alacarte menu. I feel this is better.

Some morning’s breakfast was good with chose we did go out for breakfast one morning, The lighting for reading at night was very poor, The pool area was great.

The lights in the room all on one side of the room and red lamps by the bed no good for reading day or night

. The pool was just great with two 45 metres LAP POOLS. The ambience with pleasant gardens and Architecture calming. The staff are lovely. Meekpooh was amazing. She had been there merely 2 days and was performing well and charming. Beach side exit from the resort led to an Avenue of quality Massage Parlours and Restaurants.

The Old Phuket Resort is a lovely place to stay. It is very quiet and only a 5 minute walk to the beach. The staff are very friendly and the breakfast was healthy and nice. It offers a great view to the hills east of the resort, with the Big Buddha at the peak of the hill to the south. The swimming pool is big and relaxing.

The resort is a bit dated and a little overpriced. The airconditioning in the room was too loud, although that is because it is an older resort and the infrastructure is rather old. The breakfast was good, however, it would be good to have more vegetarian options.
