The breakfast was nice. We’ve had more elaborate breakfast at other Dars.

There could / should have been a welcome water and fruit - especially as one has to be careful drinking the local water. Dinner a little pricey …and no wine or beer available.

Charming guest house in a great location inside the old walled Medina of Sousse. The staff were wonderful, nothing was too much trouble. An eSIM I'd bought online for Tunisia didn't work so Hanen took me to the local Orange shop and helped with sorting out a new SIM so I could access mobile data. We'd have been really stuck otherwise as were relying on using Google Maps to find our way around in our rental car. The breakfasts were delicious and featured lots of local Tunisian specialities to try out. The restaurant was good but very expensive - European prices rather than local prices.

There were no tea or coffee making facilities and they didn't give you any water after the first bottle on arrival. Although there was a little kitchen there was nothing there to make a tea or coffee.

This is a beautiful hotel and the bedroom was comfy and clean. It had a nice rooftop with a restaurant/bar and there was another similar place downstairs. The food was delicious they both have chefs on site so everything is local, fresh and prepared on site. The hotel is in the beginning of the Medina, so it’s an excellent and easy to find location. The staff was really helpful and answered all of my questions. They also provided suggestions and advice that made the whole experience easier and more enjoyable.

The wifi did not work a few different times but when it did, it was reliable and pretty fast. My room was under the rooftop so I could hear all the people walking around and moving tables every night. It stayed like this until around midnight each night when everyone finally ended their night. Also, in the morning the downstairs would start playing loud music around 7:30am. So it was difficult to sleep later into the morning after long night of loud noise.

Very nice old house at the Sousse medina. Actually, it is two houses united: exquisite decoration and adaptation as hotel, with charming spaces to stay and relax, nice roof with views to the town and a small pool, a small library... And, since it is in the medina, you can easily arrive to the most interesting places to visit. But it is in a very quiet street, silent and far of the noise of the market and shops of other places in the medina. Very kind staff and good breakfast.

Maybe it could be a bit problematic for disabled or old people: it is an old house and there are stairs. There are, however, rooms in the ground floor, with only one or two steps from the street, and you can reach the restaurant from the street, too, as it is on the ground floor of the other house.

The breakfast was great. The restaurant is excellent. Quite French as opposed to Tunisian. It has alcohol, nice local wines and cocktails too. For more Tunisian fare we ate outside the hotel. Sana who served breakfast and seemed to do all sorts of things was kind and awesome. She took us to the nearest bank and pharmacy personally. Arranged drivers for us to visit El Jem and Kairouan one day. Then a driver to take us to Djerba when we checked out. Nothing was too much trouble.

WiFi was slightly weak at times, if this is an issue for you.

Dar Antonia is a wonderful hotel in the middle of the Sousse Medina. The architecture and furnishings were beautiful, traditional Tunisian style. They had fresh rose petals in the courtyard fountain every day. Breakfast was delicious, rooms were very large and comfortable. The rooftop bar and restaurant was excellent! The entire staff were so friendly and gracious and helpful with any questions or needs. Definitely recommend if staying in Sousse city.

The only thing we didn't like so much was the surrounding area. It was quite run down and many feral cats.

I had an excellent experience at this hotel. The cleanliness and tranquility were standout features. The service exceeded my expectations, especially when I arrived late one day and the hotel's restaurant was closed. After reaching out on WhatsApp for nearby restaurant recommendations, they went above and beyond, delivering a menu to my room and arranging for dinner to be brought to me. The room itself was delightful, and the breakfast arranged at the yard was truly unforgettable. The overall vibes, service, and accommodation made my stay highly enjoyable. Highly recommended!

The staff were very helpful and friendly. I want to mention Sana particularly her English was good and she was ever so helpful to answer our questions giving us recommendations around the area. The location itself was great. It is actually within the Medina. For those taking the taxi. Ask them to stop at Porte Ben Jdid. You'll have to walk through the Medina gate and follow google maps to Dar Antonia. The subway that u can take to Monastir is also just 300m walk. The room was very clean. Beautiful chique design boutique hotel style. It is very clear a fair bit of effort went into making those rooms. Breakfast was great and the portions were generous.

No wifi coverage in the room but there is outside. Not to do with the property but food is scarce at night around the area because the Medina closes so make sure you have food with you. There is a restaurant upstairs but we were more interested in Tunisian food so didn't really try it.

The architecture was between tradition and contemporary. The decoration and the vibe were great. The rooftop is nice in the heart of sousse.

The room was missing a fridge, which is important in summer. The mirrors were all too small to check yourself. The breakfast was good but too tunisian oriented, so too restricted for people who don't like that style of food.
