The location was perfect and the staff a genuine delight- a tremendous mixture of happiness but without infringing on your personal space. It was clean, always open and there’s a lot open space. Pound for pound the best place I’ve visited in Tunisia so far, a lot of other places could learn from this very professional and organised business.

Unfortunately I think some people in the property learned to speak in a helicopter. A common area for phone calls or the occasional suggestion to loud people to quieten down would complete this hotel- although I’m aware this is a difficult task to perform.

Concerning Hotel Paris, all the item are splendid except two items. One they cannot accept credit card. Second actually the location is so near (just only 10 steps) from the Main Entrance with Mosaic Wall, such statement isn’t written in Booking’s guidance. So I took some time to find your Hotel very late at night.

I loved the location in the medina and near to shops and bakeries. Lots of friendly staff in the hotel. The cleaning was excellent and the property was spotless. There was a nice roof patio area to relax. I could walk to the train station in minutes to get the morning train to El Jem and also to Monastir and Mahdia. The restaurant next door was good value either tasty food. Staff were helpful. I was here during Ramadan and the staff were able to.suggest where to eat, as most restaurants and cafes were shut. This was very helpful. Tunisia at this time was very peaceful and relaxing.

We recently had the pleasure of staying at Hotel Paris in the heart of Medina, Sousse, and we couldn't be more satisfied with our experience. From the moment we arrived, we felt right at home. The owner is an amazing person who is doing a wonderful job running this charming hotel. The staff are professional, always smiling, and eager to assist with any needs. Their warm hospitality made our stay even more enjoyable. The hotel is impeccably clean, and the attention to detail in maintaining the rooms and common areas is impressive. The location of Hotel Paris is perfect, situated right in the heart of Medina. This made it incredibly convenient for us to explore the vibrant surroundings and immerse ourselves in the local culture. We highly recommend Hotel Paris to anyone visiting Sousse. It’s a delightful place to stay, and we’re confident that you won’t regret choosing this wonderful hotel. There are bedrooms with bathroom inside and bedrooms with shared bathroom. I haven’t read the details, and we had a bedroom with no bathroom inside, but it did not ruin our stay. The sheared bathrooms were spotless. For the money you pay, you receive much more value. Location is excellent, just inside the medina wall. Close to train station and restaurants. Staff is very helpful, always smiling and a warm greeting. They upgraded us to a triple room No extra charge which was a blessing with all our luggage. There is a fridge you can store some food or drinks in. A heater was provided upon request which was greatly appreciated because I get cold easily. A short walk to the main square, ribat and main mosque. The value for price is very good, therefore I recommend staying here. Don't miss doing a day trip to El Jem, it is fabulous! The train system Tunis to Sousse is horrible, always late, overcrowded, although we bought 1st class tickets we never even got a seat.

I'll be honest, the hotel is a bit dated and gives a bit of a 70s motel vibe. Our toilet leaked a bit, no hot water one night and no water for a bit (not sure if this was government controlled because we experienced this in a restaurant too.). The shower is a bit awkward as it is hard to stand in the small tub and shower is hand held but a minor inconvenience.

The hotel is atmospheric and the terrace overlooking the Medina adds to its charm. The staff is very nice and immediately responds to the needs. Hot water available all the time, clean rooms.

Room B15 (double room); the minuses are: the condensing water on the ceiling in the bathroom and dripping on the floor which made the floor wet all the time (3 outer walls of the room were cooling down and thus the water condensed on the ceiling). The second minus was the low temperature in the room (hotel not heated). The second problem was solved immediately by the staff by inserting the radiator/heater into the room.

Beautifully painted common area and inner courtyard, rooftop terrace, comfortable bed. Quiet at night. Separate (shared) bathrooms for women and men. And especially amazing location: right at the corner of the medina, next to the local bus station, with a little 'fripe' just a few meters away :) I would always go back for the location alone! :)

There was a construction site outside and they started working at 7 am - not the hotel's fault, obviously. Because of the amazing - and very touristy - location, it took a few days until show owners let me pass without trying to get me into their shops.

Very clean, beautiful architecture and the location is beyond perfect. Near the metro for Monastir and Madia , the trains and inside la medina. For a solo traveler is an excellent choice, cause the room is single and small. The price is extremely cheap and to be honest it is the best choice for someone that wants to see sousse for one or two days. Extra plus are the people working in the reception, professional, smiling and helpful. 10 out of 10!!!

It can be a but noisy but you can have that problem in a 5 stars hotel, I can guarantee that. It feels safe and it is clean.
