Good location. About 7-10 mins walk to the centre of town/waterfront. Parking was easy. There is a secure carpark in front which costs 30TL per night. The room is new. The room is compact but well thought out. They were able to store our bags for the day.

The shower pressure is quite weak

I traveled in Turkey in different cities, but in Canakkale I found the most welcoming host and a wonderful place to stay at The Abies. From the interior of the room and the location to the extraordinary host. The gentleman who owns the location is an extraordinary man and the lady at the reception an angel. I wholeheartedly recommend the location for everything it can offer to the tourists staying. The host gave us great details about the locations to visit, coffee and a small lunch upon departure. The small room, but we knew this aspect, we chose it, it has a special interior, totally different from what we have seen in Turkey. You must stay at The Abies!

Lovely new and fresh boutique hotel in Canakkale. The rooms are not big, but they are arranged perfectly and decorated in a stylish manner. It is clear that the owners thought about every small detail in the room and in the bathroom. And even a pencil was put on the notebook on the table in a thoughtful and stylish way, and not just in an occasional manner. Stuff is super friendly and helpful and speaks English. There is private parking for a very low price just across the road, but you can also park for free on the street. Great continental breakfast Turkish style. AND! Due to the hotel's location you do not hear the mosque early in the morning :-)

Just nothing, everything was just perfect.

This hotel is a jewel. One can feel that it was designed and decorated with great care and infinite attention to detail. It is conveniently located within easy walking distance from the centre but away from the noise. Our room was spotlessly clean and very comfortable. The breakfast was excellent. Yet the best thing of all was an atmosphere of warm welcome. The Abies is a very special place, and I can only wish it to remain so.

I honestly cannot think of a single flaw. The place is perfect.

The proprietor was incredibly helpful and nice. The hotel is focused on sustainability and works hard to eliminate waste and plastic which is a relief for those of us who get tired of the endless plastic bottles and extra plastic bags that populate trips to Turkey and Greece. The rooms are contemporary, small, and well-appointed. The location is a 10 minute walk from the old-town seaside, located with easy parking and views of the river, Dardanelles, and boats.

Nothing. Not a thing. Great hotel

The hotel is a 10-minute walk from the city center. So, the hotel's location is a great advantage since most of the unique tastes and historical places you are looking for are in the city center. The room we stayed in was a bit of a small room, but it wasn't a problem for us as we planned to use room for just sleeping. In terms of architecture, it is impossible not to notice many details, and high-quality products are used, from soap to bed, considering customer comfort. And I think the most important thing is that today, where sustainability is more important than ever, The Abies has implemented many environmentally-oriented practices. In short, it is a green, friendly boutique hotel. By the way, the continuation of green practices is on the way, you can listen to these meaningful steps directly from the owner of the hotel, Kürşat. Speaking of Kürşat, he sincerely helped in every matter without exception, and his conversation was just as enjoyable. Since he is at the hotel all the time (and every time he has high energy, need to learn the secret :)) we always found ourselves in a deep conversation with a nice coffee, both at breakfast and on the way back to the hotel at night. I can say that he was our guide on Çanakkale as well :) Briefly, we felt like we were at home, not at the hotel, and we loved Çanakkale very much. When we come back, our choice is obvious :) Thank you again for everything.

Ecclectic modern room which was very spacious - we picked the larger room - with everything we needed for a short stay and exceptionally clean. It’s just on the edge of the main touristy area of Cannakale, do a 10 minute walk to the waterfront and all the restaurants and bars. The staff were so friendly and eager to make our stay positive. There was car parking right opposite the hotel. Good coffee with breakfast!!

The hotel is extremly clean,cozy and nice decorated which make you feel in a home not a hotel and that's nice.The host was very talkative,welcoming and prepared a delicious Turkish breakfast and first of all he tried to make us feel comfortable due to the fact that some people from neighborhood were too noisy.I recommend "the abies" hotel.

A clean & lovely little space to base ourselves from for ANZAC commemorations with a secured car park outside that you only have to pay a small amount for. Price of stay is super reasonable. Host is very accomodating.

The location is a bit further away from the port etc. and a little run down but the price of the rooms reflect this — literally only a 15 minute walk though so not a major at all!!!!

Quirky hotel on the edge of the bazaar area. Parking (paid) across the road. Lovely breakfast. Friendly helpful staff. Loved the quirky decor and our double room was very good. Twin room was compact but also good. 15 min walk to seaside restaurants or 5 min drive. Good wifi.
