I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Lord of Cappadocia Hotel, and it was an unforgettable experience. This family-run hotel is exceptional, with meticulous attention to detail and a focus on creating a remarkable guest experience. The rooms are beautifully decorated and incredibly comfortable, making you feel right at home. The lovely breakfast each morning was a delightful start to the day, featuring delicious local dishes. The outstanding terrace, offering the best view of the city both day and night, quickly became one of our favorite spots. A special mention must go to Ersel, the owner, and his son, Al, for their extraordinary service that goes far beyond just the hotel. Ersel joined us in lovely chats where we learned a lot about Cappadocia, adding a personal touch to our stay. They were incredibly helpful with everything we needed to make our visit to Cappadocia unique and memorable. The hotel’s convenient location near all major attractions made exploring the area effortless. Staff was very helpful and nice, room was cosy, location was central and the decorations and facade were lovely.

Better directions to the hotel from the bus stop if we are walking to the hotel. Google maps was awful especially since we had luggage and it took us from a inclined non-paved road when there was a much easier way available. An email with a sort directional map can be sent a day before arrival.

Everything was as expected. Excellent location, staff always ready to help , clean comfortable room, terrace with great view, good breakfast. We would like to thank hotel staff for making our short stay memorable .

Upon entering the hotel, the hotel itself looks very lovely and traditional. We were greeted by accommodating staff and they were very kind. I have asked the owner if he could help me with the birthday surprise of my partner and he has kindly help me with it, even getting us a very delicious cake and balloons. Thank you so much! ❤️ In the room, the sheets were very clean amd very comfortable. We had a very nice and relaxing sleep after a long day of hot air balloon and other tours. Food was great as well! Everything was delicous! Location is cherry on top! It’s very accessible, we just walked around the city and we can go back to the hotel anytime without feeling tired! I felt very safe, relaxed, and welcomed. We even stayed at the hotel to wait for out transfer and they were very kind to let us use the facilities while waiting. Nothing, I loved everything!

The hotel is well located, a 10-minute walk to the centre. Nice views on the terrace where you can see the last balloons on the sky (because ballons start earlier than breakfast). They let us leave our luggage with the receptionist after check out because we were leaving in the evening. And while we waited for the transfer to pick us up they told us we could wait in the breakfast room and served us coffee.

There were two big steps to enter the bathroom. It is understandable because in Cappadocia most places are carved in caves, but they were quite steep, you have to be careful. After we left the hotel for a full day excursion, they asked via whatsapp if we wanted to have the room cleaned. We did not have internet so when we arrived back in the evening the room was not done. They said since the pandemic some people do not like it when people enter the room to clean. But they should ask that in person before you leave the hotel, not via message after you have left.

exceeded all my expectations, primarily due to its outstanding location and the friendliness of its staff. This hotel truly deserves every bit of praise it receives. it offers an unparalleled experience when it comes to accessibility and convenience. As soon as I arrived, I was struck by the hotel's proximity to some of the city's most iconic landmarks and attractions. Watching the sun set over the hotel from the hotel's rooftop terrace was a truly magical experience that I will cherish forever. the breakfast is very nice and recommended.

Excellent location of the hotel. Right before the Town Centre. It was a really cute alley walk to the town centre which is super crowded. So the walk along the small stream was very pleasant. And the view of the hot air balloons in the mornings was very nice. They have good breakfast and the receptionist Barees was very helpful in arranging the tours and hot air balloons. Cute hotel.

For the rate of the rooms, it's quite expensive I felt. There were better rooms with better views. Honestly I didn't know about this before visiting Cappadocia. So next time I might book one of those rooms on top of the hills for better view. Other than that I didn't have any problems.

Our stay was an amazing experience! Clean and tidy room and location is ideal. The staff was kind and helpful. Ersel helped in booking airport transfer and renting of a car. He is the best :) The view on the terrace is quite amazing! It is nicely decorated with pillows and rugs so you can take amazing photos at sunrise with the balloons. Thank you for the perfect stay!

The location is excellent. The owner is a very genuine and helpful person, which is of great help to travellers in a tourist hub like Goreme. A special mention to Baris-he is as genuine , helpful and as nice as it gets in terms of being a good human being. People like Baris elevate your experience to the next level because of their wonderful, friendly and genuinely helpful nature-such people are an asset to any organisation.

The size of the wash basin is too small

Amazing Hotel ..Amazing staff..Amazing Location. The host arranged everything for us..Hotel transfer and Hot air baloon tour was flawless which was arranged by Hotel on same day of our arrival and cherry on top was the cost was lesser than online pricing. Breakfast was fresh and tasty with lots of variety. We also had the best turkiah food in a nearby Restaurant on Host recommendation which was just 5 miniutes away from the hotel with reasonable pricing. They also booked tours based on our timings which was great. If ever i will come to cappdocia definitely i will stay at this place.. Higly recommended 😊😊😊
