I recently stayed at a wonderful hotel located right in the center of Göreme, and I couldn't have asked for a better experience. The location is perfect, with all the main activities within walking distance. Whether you're exploring the stunning rock formations, visiting museums, or booking a hot air balloon ride, everything is conveniently close by. There are also numerous restaurants in the vicinity, offering a wide variety of delicious dining options. From traditional Turkish cuisine to international dishes, there's something to satisfy every craving. The hotel staff were incredibly friendly and helpful throughout our stay. They went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed, and their warm hospitality made us feel right at home. The breakfast served each morning was very good, providing a great start to our day with a variety of tasty options. A special mention must go to the hotel owner, Mehmet-bay. He is a very nice person who put in a lot of effort to make our stay unforgettable. His assistance and genuine care for the guests truly made a difference. If you're looking for a centrally located hotel in Göreme with excellent service, friendly staff, and a great breakfast, this is the place to stay. Highly recommended!

We stayed in many fantastic hotels during our 11-day trip in Turkiye, but Old Town Stone House was the best! The breakfast is fit for kings, and the terrace has a spectacular view of the balloons. The decor is old-timey, romantic, and highlights the best of Turkiye. It's a place built and maintained with a lot of love. Mehmet and his staff went above and beyond in making us feel welcome and comfortable. It was a pleasure to chat with them every morning at breakfast. Mehmet got us a great last-minute deal for the hot-air balloon ride, which was the highlight of our trip. He also has the best tips for food, shopping, and local activities. I loved my stay here so much, I was teary-eyed during check-out. Hope we can come back again some day :)

We liked the room's cleanliness, coziness, and charm of the place. Everything was very detailed, and the breakfast was AMAZING!. The overall view of the hotel inside was unique and cute. We rented 4 rooms and our needs were met proficiently in all the rooms. Additionally, the hotel is close to public transportation, tons of activities, and a small town with many attractions. The plus was the staff, everyone was very friendly and helpful. We LOVED it!

Only a suggestion: A full-length mirror, ladies, for the most part, love to see how they look before heading out the door. This is the only suggestion.

This one is hard to beat! The hotel has it all: great location, amazing views, the best breakfast you could ever wish for while traveling, the nicest and warmest staff and the room was cozy and large, with a bathroom just as large too. Besides that, once we got there, the balloon trip, the tours around Capadocia and the transportation to the airport was all arranged by them. I don't have enough space here to explain how wonderful was our stay here! We adored every minute!

Nothing at all, there's nothing bad to say here

We stayed early January for 5 nights, I picked this hotel as I read good reviews, from day one we felt very comfortable and welcomed by everyone here. The manager and staff work very hard to make their customers happy and are always friendly and helpful. The hotel is small lovely and peaceful our room was very cosy and the shower was great. Fresh towels and bottles of water were left for us every day. We had a great view of the balloons from our room and there was a shared balcony just outside (I imagine this is even better in the summer) Breakfast was good with plenty of choice and fresh omelette’s made to order. We loved the location it was right near shops and restaurants on a small incline and only a short walk to the sunset view point. We enjoyed our holiday and would come back here again. Thank you :)

If I had to choose something I didn’t like it was that there wasn’t a lot of wardrobe space.

The hotel is particularly well located, close to the city center, shops, restaurants and activities. It also offers a magnificent view over the whole city, with a terrace that's particularly pleasant for watching hot-air balloon flights at sunrise, or enjoying the starry sky at the end of the day. We stayed in a very nice, large room, equipped with a large bathtub and whirlpool bath. The welcome at the hotel was particularly warm, and the owner is one of the nicest people we've ever met. He helped us enormously in organizing our trip, and advised us in our choice of activities, with a great deal of kindness and benevolence. The hotel also serves an incredible breakfast, with a huge choice, in a beautiful room overlooking the whole city. We really enjoyed our stay at this hotel, and only wish we could have stayed longer!

Such a great place with a magical view of the hot air balloons in the morning. The rooms were very clean and comfortable and uniquely decorated. Breakfast was exceptional, many delicious options, fruits and vegetables, cereal, coffee and tea, different spread, cheeses, definitely enough to please everyone. The staff was very kind and friendly. Checking in late was no problem. Also, we were able to leave our luggage after checkout and even got a little souvenir at the end. Would definitely stay here again and can only recommend this place!

Everything was wonderful!

The breakfast buffet at this location was magical! So much to choose from and the owner comes up to welcome you and ask about your stay. They will coordinate everything for you: transportation to and from the airport, tours, shows, and hot air balloons. I had left my passport at the hotel and they were able to negotiate a private taxi for me back to the airport to retrieve it. They held my bags on the day of checkout and even provided a gift magnet upon leaving. Excellent choice for your stay!

Honestly I liked everything, the AC worked well, the shower water pressure was great, and the shower gel smelled wonderful. The only thing I didn’t like was the stairs but that’s unavoidable here wherever you stay.

We really liked the location of the the hotel. It is conveniently located at the center of the town, where you could easily find places to eat or just have some coffee. In addition to this, the view at the balcony where we had our daily breakfast was really beautiful too. The room was clean and comfortable with an old time charm, and all the staff was amazing. They went over and beyond to help make our stay enjoyable. The hospitality of Mehmet was immeasurable! We arrived late at night, but he waited for us and made sure that we were having a great time during our entire stay. He also assisted us in finding a reputable company for the hot air balloon ride, despite it being cancelled three times due to the wind and weather situation. He even offered an alternative which I really appreciated.

We were there during winter and felt that the heating system could be a little better.

This was one of the best stays I ever I had, all thanks to Mehmet who was very welcoming, he made sure my stay was perfect, providing and organizing my shuttle from and to the airport, the ballon ride since before arriving. He also provided all kind of information and tips, and helped with the ATV and other tours (which where very nice and professional). The room was clean and the beds are very confy. The breakfast was amazing, everything is fresh and delicious, not to mention the balcony restaurant city view where you can also see balloons with cozy music. It was so relaxing and chill 😊
