The hotel is in prime location, close to everything you might need; the room (we got the basement room) was spacious, bright, and super clean, with good heating AC and hot shower water. The receptionist was also super hospitable and helpful. We left our bags at the reception after checkout, and came back to collect them when our ride arrived.

The phone in the room was not working, but they offered to check it out when mentioned (we were there for one night, so it was not a big deal). No door for the shower (just a small partition), which was a bit awkward.

The hotel is in an upscale neighborhood of Beyoglu district. There are lots of must-see things in just 5 minutes walking distance. You have Galata Tower, Istiklal street, old palaces, Bosporus, etc. Historical peninsula is just 20 minute-walk. And to the places you cannot walk, you have several different options to commute including tram, subway, bus, ferries. Traffic is a bit problem during rush hours and sometimes even outside of rush hours, so you need to ask the hotel staff what is the best way to go. They are always helpful and polite. They know taxi drivers whom you can trust. I highly recommend to do it:) Also, their breakfast was the most surprising thing for me. Everything is fresh, clean and tasty. They even bring your breakfast to your room if you want. You need to try their cheese. For dinner, you have tons of options around, but I recommend the hotel dinner as well. They have very tasty and interesting pizzas for example. We spent two nights there and we will stay more as we have just discovered their bar nights. The atmosphere at Ansen Suites pub is amazing. We came to the hotel a bit late so we did not realize that from the first day. So, give a chance to yourself for a night at the Eftalikus pub of the hotel. I specifically want to thank Ilyas and Dogus as they did their best to make us comfortable. See you next time bros.

Our expectations were not not so high but for those expecting too much, my answer is "Try it. You will not regret."

The location of Ansen Suites is great: just a few minutes walk from Istiklal and access to the nearby Sishane Metro station with connections to the Tünel funicular (to the tram line) as well as the historic trolley that runs down Istiklal. The staff is super friendly and we loved how the bar/restaurant in the lobby always seems to have beautiful, hip locals perched at the tables that straddle the window, inside and outside the building. The 5th floor executive suite is gorgeous!

Beware of the street-facing rooms on Fridays and weekends since the parties definitely keep rockin' through the night. Unless you're out enjoying the nearby clubs, the party and street noise will NOT help with getting a well-rested night's sleep.

Place is at great location right in the city centre and also if you are looking for Istanbul nightlife style with locational comfort. But be careful if you're looking for a quiet place as this is not the one at all and I won't recommend it to anyone who's looking for a quiet nights. The staff there is great, very helpful and provides with any requests possible. Saw recently other people talking about water issues in the facility, but we haven't seen any and everything was working just fine. Rooms are very big if you are looking for a spacial stay. City street view is much better than that on pictures! Can't say much about breakfast as it was never attended. If you like paying by card this is the place to stay at.

Not sure what's the point of kitchen as there's not basic utilities at all on arrival. Shower doors in our room require fix. Rooms are not quite clean, not sure if floors are being hoovered at all. Once again the place is for nightlife so be ready for loud music and screaming people.

Perfect location, helpful and heartwarming staff (reception/housekeeping/bar), huge room, comfy bed, central area. Anything you might need within walking distance. All main attractions nearby.

There's a cooking area in the room, but no pans or plates/ cutlery provided. Open shower, bathroom gets easily flooded. Other than that everything was spot on.

Spent 5 nights in the penthouse suite. What a room. Has the luxury wow factor with the authentic appeal that you can expect from Istanbul which gives it the perfect charm. Still can’t believe the view. Young team, genuine people, with great taste and good vibes. They booked us the Hammam, taxi services, had brilliant recommendations. Service was impeccable. Fresh breakfast, generous portions. A walk away from the best night life in town. As a young and well-traveled couple, it made our stay.

We stayed 5 nights in the hotel and to summarize about my experience for the hotel : The location was perfect just 5 mins walk from the most famous and lively ISTIKLAL STREET, 15mins walk from TAKSIM SQUARE & 10 mins walk from GALATA TOWER. situated in the lanes of PERA district away from all the hustle & bustle of ISTIKLAL STREET so you can sleep peacefully. The staff was very nice and helpful from the manager (Mr.Ilyas) to everyone working there. Rooms were very clean and met our expectations. Breakfast was decent spread. Very safe and clean facility and that's what someone coming to visit Turkey with family will always expect. The best i liked was the friendly atmosphere in and around the hotel on the streets it was so lively and lovely.

Nothing was just perfect !!

The location is great, just a few metered away from istiklal street and from galata tower. It's surrounded by good cafes and restaurants. The room was big, note that I booked a bigger room than the usual ones, it was spacious, clean and elegant also it got a nice view of the city. I like the staff, very helpful and very friendly. I forgot my earring in the room but found it kept in the reception. Ilyas the owner is very welcoming and friendly, and he used a sentence that I loved when he said, this hotel with its guests and staff are like a family.. A really fit description of what I felt while there.

There was a fire exit door in the bathroom which made me feel a little anxious, but I talked to the staff and they confirmed that it's absolutely safe and no one can open the door.

Very comfortable suits in a well-renovated historical building; the location is great if you want to spend time in Taksim-Galata-Karakoy region as well as the Historical Peninsula. Walking to these is very easy; moreover there's the Sishane metro stop only few meters from the hotel. Lastly, there is the Tepebasi Parking not far away (which is a reliable parking if you're driving).

Nothing major

Design, space, location, mood. Very well-done modern hotel in a lovely quarter, still central. Lots of space in the rooms, contemporary design, comfy furniture. Every area is made with great taste, you'll appreciate. And AWESOME music in the bar, you would shazam it all.

Probably, the only thing is the breakfasts could be a bit more varied. You get the same Turkish breakfast each day (just eggs change the format - fried eggs, scrambled eggs, etc). But that's the only one)
