Overall a very nice place. Everything was brand new: our bed, the shower, both desks, the air conditioner, you name it. Seems like we were one of the first customers, if not the very first. The staff were truly exceptional, they brought us a second desk and a kettle after we asked for it, and even served us breakfast when we missed breakfast hours, so the quality of service was way above what we paid for. The WiFi connection was stable, 31 Mbps down / 6 Mbps up. This place is ideal for two people to live together and work remotely.

The main potential drawback is that the building itself lacks an elevator, so the only way you can get to your door is via the steep spiral staircase, the likes of which are very common in Istanbul. The second drawback is the lack of a breakfast buffet. On the other hand, pre-made breakfasts spare you the problem of choice =)

Our stay was amazing. Was greeted by the owner as we arrived late at 12.30am. Very nice and kind person. Speaks very good English. He upgraded us for free to a different room without even asking or telling us which was amazing. The cleaning is immaculate. Bathroom and bedroom spotlessly clean. We had breakfast once which was also very good. Complimentary water, tea and coffee in the room along with a refrigerator and mini safe. We asked for the room to be cleaned which it was perfectly cleaned and all toiletries replaced. Location is literally about 5mins walk to Arasta bazaar and blue mosque. No uphill walking or anything. The pictures of the rooms on the booking sites do not do it justice.

We really enjoyed our stay at Blue Sail Hotel. It has perfect location, walking distance (6-8 minutes) to Blue mosque/Hagia Sophia and also tram station. The room had everything we needed, there was air conditioning, fridge, wardrobe, towels, slippers, shampoo and shower gel. Breakfast are simple but tasty (honey,chocolate cream, cheeses, vegetables, ham, ham, bread, coffee, tea …).Wi-Fi working without problems. Emin, the owner of the hotel, is friendly person always ready to help, answer questions or recommend great places. I’d stay here gladly again 😊

The owner is easy to work with

Rooms are really small. The showers are slippery. There is a small closet, but without drawers and only 2 shelves and 2 hangers. The whole structure is quite narrow. Warning: do not eat at Romantica, the restaurant across the street. The food is low quality, the fish is old, and it's heavily overpriced. I make mention of it because the owner of Blue Sail Hotel will suggest eating there.

Good hotel in terms of price-quality ratio. Good location, not far from Hagia Sophia and the Blue Mosque. The T1 tram stop is within walking distance. The room had everything we needed (kettle, refrigerator, safe), it was warm. In general, the noise did not bother us. Breakfast is standard. The staff is friendly and helpful.

One day there was no breakfast, and they did not compensate for it, although they promised :)

Our host was truly wonderful and went to great efforts to make us feel at home. The room and bathroom including the tile were all very clean and the location was fantastic. I was surprised at how quiet it was for such a busy location.

I had forgotten how much cigarette smoke there is in general in Turkey and unfortunately, our room almost always smelled of cigarette smoke.

Very good location, near Hagia Sofia, Blue Mosque and Grand Bazar. Very comfortable beds. Very nice staff. Free parking just in front of the hotel.

The room is a bit small for 4 people, but that was ok because we spent just the night there. Very good value for money.

Breakfast was basic. Cheese, bread, cucumber, tomato, lettuce, Boiled eggs, omelette if desired. Tea coffee and juices. I asked for fruit and got some the following day.

Breakfast could have had some cereals or fruit salad or local cheeses.

The lady that makes breakfast is kind and lovely. The room is exactly as they look on the photos. The zone is excellent if you wanna walk the historical centre.
