Hotel is on a quiet street, in a pleasant neighbourhood, close to the main historic sites- 10min walk. Close by you have tram station 15min walk and bus station 5-10min walk. Good room size, well decorated and clean, beds are comfortable, they would come every day and clean the room. There is a terrace upstairs with good views on the Bosphorus, where you can relax. Friendly and helpful staff, the manager offered to book us tours of Istanbul and Bosphorus dinner cruise. They also offered taxi from / to airport for 45Eur. Something to take in consideration -> if you are a light sleeper you should consider earplugs. The hotel is near mosques so you will hear the call to prayer in the afternoon/evening.

There is no dedicated parking at the hotel, but you can find it on the nearby streets for free, or paid parking near mosques, aprox 5-10Eur/day. Noise isolation is not very good, you could hear the water flush from other rooms.

The hotel location was perfect it was where you could walk to most of the sites and we even walked one time back from Galata tower stopping off for food and at the New mosque and through the posh tea places and back past the Blue mosque. The hotel, though, as mentioned in a few reviews I read, was a little dated, but that adds I suppose to the charm. It was clean, and that's the main thing. It was cleaned daily, and the room was mainly to lay our heads, so it was perfect. Breakfast was a fresh and clean area and nice variety. Most importantly, the two managers, Ergun and Ali, were amazing and sorted everything for us. If we were stuck, they would either do it for us or point us in the rice direction. Overall made our first stay in Istanbul memorable and want to come back.

That there wasn't a Bidet sprayer in our room

We had booked a standard room but I wanted a room with a balcony and a sea view and the hotel manager Ergun did not disappoint us and gave us a higher class room and did not reflect the price difference thank you for making our stay as good as possible . The hotel is close to everywhere, you can find the whole historical peninsula in the palm of your hand, the rooms are cleaned every day and the staff's attention is great, I hope to come again

First of all, the caring and kind attitudes of the employees continued from the first welcome until the departure. The manager Ergun and his team do a great job. The hotel is very close to all attractions. The hotel offers all kinds of tour services at the most affordable prices. You can enjoy the breakfast and the sea view on the terrace. We stayed here with our family for 9 days and we are very pleased. I recommend it and I will be looking forward to coming again.

The hotel staff was very friendly, helpful, professional and approachable. Walid and Ergun were there at all times to assist with routes, trips, airport transfer, or simple chit chats. Thank you very much for your assistance. Dylara is excellent cook and hostess. Her homemade breakfasts were delicious! Thank you, Dylara! Location is excellent and very walkable to all famous sites. The hotel is located in the heart of Istanbul in a very safe and quite area. Our room was very clean, the beds are comfortable! My family will stay there again!

For the very, very low price you get all that you need, and that's great 👍🏽 We especially liked: - breakfast: not very diverse, but tasty, well-put and nourishing - location: right in the historical center with all the main attractions nearby and at the same time so close to all the public transportation system we don't have to use taxis even once - public terrace with great sea view - it was warm enough in the room, which is often a problem in İstanbul's historical buildings in autumn

The bed wasn't so comfortable: the mattress is much wider than the bed itself, so you need to get used to not lying on the sides.

Location is PERFECT+++. 5mn walkimg from the Sultan Ahmed square, Topkapi, Aya Sofya, 10 to 15mn walking Komkapi and pretty restaurant area, Bosphorus, walking path on the corniche..., Tram and Marmaray very close by Friendly Staff, helpful and Accommodating. Descent Breakfast and various choice. Quite area, we were on the ground floor and were expected noise from streets, but it was surprisingly quite. A lot of restaurant and cafe in the area. The Terrasse has a direct view on Aya Sofya in one side and the Bosphorus on the other side. AC working, clean, quite, and family friendly.

The bedsheet were old and with holes. the curtains keep falling out of the rode, the temporary fixed it. No water bottles in the room, we had to ask for it, The lady in the kitchen remembered and everyday she made sure to have a very cold bottle for us which was an very delicate attention (highly appreciated) But the staff is responsive and always accommodated our needs.

This hotel is nestled in the heart of the old district of Türkiye. The rooms are comfy and very affordable and you are a short stroll from great food and tourist highlights such as the Hagia Sophia, Blue Mosque and the Basilica Cistern. However, by far the greatest feature of the Maritime Hotel is its exceptional staff team led by Ergun and supported by both Qhalid and Dilyara this has a team of people dedicated to ensuring your time in Istanbul is everything you want it to be. Relaxing, exciting, fun-filled or authentic. The Showers are good, the rooftop is great, the breakfast is filling and delicious and the 24/7 mini shop across the street for snacks and drinks is ideal at the end of a day of sightseeing.

It's difficult to find fault with my time here, I had a brilliant experience. Two things, the team at the hotel offered me a transfer from the airport, but I wanted to navigate the subway system myself. Be advised that if you do this, you will have multiple changes as you jump across different lines.

Very good location - on a quite street away from the noise, but 5 min walk from Blue Mosque and Arasta Bazaar(hidden behind Blue Mosque). Room is spacious and clean with a seperate area for 3rd person. Loved the balcony facing sea side and nice roof terrace with wonderful view to the sea and Blue Mosque. Very comfortable beds and good breakfast what is very important when you having a very busy days with lots of walking. But the most wonderful about this hotel is employees. Very friendly and descreet. Seperate thanks to Walid - taking care about us in the middle of the night on arrival AND departure, helping with the luggage to and from 4th floor and arranging transportation on time. Teşekkürler!

That we had to leave so soon.

This is by no means a high-end hotel, but it's not a bad one either. The room were clean and the beds were comfortable. The staff were great, very welcoming and did their best to make our stay comfortable. The location is walking distance to main attractions and the tram line, and the the neighbourhood is pleasant.

The breakfast options are limited, some things are beginning to show their age.
