Location is good right on the Bosphorus. Breakfast buffet had good selection and nice fresh juice. Easy to park with free valet. Nice traditional ottoman palace type decor.

The sound proofing is not very good and as most rooms have a window into the lobby atrium which leads to the function room, at the weekends when they host wedding parties is crazy noisey till past midnight. Can Clarke hear music, people talking and kids playing till 1am. With the bedrooms over this space they need to address this issue or nee the doors closed and have strict policies about partying in the atrium area. My kids had school the next day and couldn’t sleep till midnight.

The location, architecture and scenery are unique. The historical building has been restored very well and the decoration is done in the appropriate dose for the building. Having its own parking lot is a great convenience. The breakfast is not very rich but sufficient.

The room facing the atrium where we stayed was very small and hot. Although we requested a low pillow beforehand, we were told that there was only one type of pillow. The feeling I got while staying was as if it was closing at the end of the season and we were the last customers to come. We had no contact with any staff other than check-in and check-out.

The only problem is with WiFi. The connectivity was the worst. Even unable to make a WhatsApp call and sometimes not suitable for SMS also. The hotel authority had added additional security for WiFi, however they forgot to improve the connectivity. This was not my solo problem. This is common for other travellers also.

Fuat Pasa Yalisi well exceeded our expectations. Breakfast and restaurant were excellent. We stayed in a room with sea view, which had a fab view of Istanbul. This is certainly one of my top hotels to visit again when I'm in Istanbul next.

Some of the city-view rooms were a bit too small, that's why we upgraded our rooms, and are very pleased with the new rooms.

We would like to thank the lady at the reception who helped us get to the room immediately without waiting at the entrance. All of the staff are extremely friendly and high-level people. The breakfast room and breakfast of this hotel, whose location I know well, are excellent. Hope to See you again.

There is nothing I don't like

Nice rooms and comfortable bed. We had a problem with the safe in the room and got a new bigger room. Service is very good. Breakfast was good, and the restaurant too. There are many restaurants around the hotel, we got recommended from our hotel a fish restaurant two minutes walk, we eat there two days in a row. It's a 15-minute walk to Sariyer centre along the coast with a wieu of the boats.

Close to the road with traffic. Exept for that, nothing.

Lovely old style building, right on the Bosphorus shore. Nice atmosphere of being in an old fishing village while still in the big city conurbation of Istanbul. Classy dining room with good food at relatively ordinary prices. Good breakfast too.

We booked a standard room but that turned out to be a fairly small room looking into the central lobby of the hotel; so we paid extra to upgrade to a room with sea view that also was larger and more comfortable.

There was a good selection for breakfast, cereal, fruits, hot plates. juice, teas, coffee etc. The breakfast area was both inside and outside and it was lovely to sit in the morning and enjoy the fresh air. Staff were attentive abd polite.

Staff, view, cleanness were totally one. Staff was kind and very helpful. Loved the terrace!

Even there were several comments in an opposite way, it was not so noisy. That’s true it’s not a silent hotel but the building is historical and old, that’s a kind of normal.
