Wonderful, friendly, knowledgeable, helpful staff. Convenient location: historic area two blocks from Grand Bazaar & tram station on Divanyolu, lively during the day but very quiet neighborhood at night. Spectacular views of sea and historical buildings (including a 15th century, still-functioning, hamam) from rooftop terrace. Many electrical outlets made charging electronic devices easy.

Bed was very uncomfortable, but perhaps that was just my room. Other suites had different layouts, and perhaps different beds. As an older person, I found the steep circular staircases a bit challenging, although they were part of the charm of the old historic building. Breakfast was lackluster, and the pre-arranged breakfast trays seemed wasteful, since they contained items one might not have chosen for oneself and, I noticed, a lot was left uneaten by guests. However, when requested, the breakfast lady was gracious and very willing to accommodate individual tastes and needs to the extent possible.

Oban suites is the best hotel for everything, location, staff, breakfast, comfort and cleanliness. It was definitely value for money. Is is very near all attractions where we walked. Owners Hido and his brother Irfan were extremely helpful. They advised for everything like shopping, travelling and eating out. Location was excellent. We walked to all the visiting place, even it is walking distance to Eminonu. Only 12 minutes walk if you go through grand bazar, (follow Google directions). From Eminonu we travelled on ferry to Bursa and next day to Buyukada (princess Island). There are lot of choices of eating places around Oban suites. We are very grateful for the support of owners Hido and his brother Irfan.

The location was excellent, about 400m from the Grand Bazaar and within a 10 minute walk to the Hagia Sophia and Blue Mosque. The Metro line was also at the top of the road, so it has excellent transport links. It was clean, tidy, comfortable, and good value for money, and it felt like home for the duration of our stay. By far, the best thing was the staff. They were all helpful and kind, and my 3 year old daughter took a real shine to them. The gentleman on the check-in desk at night (Sefer) was particularly sweet to her; she always looked for him. They would have a nice "chat" every day and created bonded. The staff also helped us plan an itinerary that met our needs and gave us some local tips and knowledge. They always had plenty of time for us, which was much appreciated.

The only thing I would say were that the overhead lamps in the room didn't work, but it was not an issue.

The location was close to our line of business. Tram station was just five minutes' walk from the hotel. There are lots of small restaurants in the vicinity of the hotel. Breakfast was healthy enough - Turkish Breakfast. The room was comfortable enough including the new refurbished bathroom. Though it was quite cold outside the room was warm enough - well heated. Staff was always ready to assist whenever required. We were assisted with an early check-in in a different room in the early morning until our room was ready.

Location and the 2 brothers who ran the hotel were great. Breakfast was better than expected (having read the reviews), loved the fact there were traditional options and the view from the dining area was stunning. Room was a great size and bathroom was very good.

Just little things, room wasn’t dirty but probably needed a spring clean. Towels while there plenty were a bit threadbare and ability to make coffee/ tea in room would have been good.

The staff were amazing especially irfan and his brother, they will go out of their way to give you the best experience. The location is also great, you have the tram station just up the road, the sea is 5 minutes walk down the road. You can walk to Blue Masjid (10 to 15 minutes walk) Or two stations away in a tram. Two turkish restaurant are opposite the venue, which do nice turkish food or grilled food. Lots of restaurants on the road, plenty of choice. The room was nice and clean, (2 adults and 2 kids stay), we requested cleaning everyday and it was done to good standard. Would definitely visit again.

Breakfast could be improved, could include some fruits or toaster machine. The lady serving was very helpful and did try her best to accommodate our needs.

The owners and staff were among some of the nicest people we met in Instanbul. Their warmth more than made up for some of the other limitations of the room! A special mention to Hidayat for his proactivity and high orientation to customer service. The location is one of the best in Instanbul, a couple of minutes away from the Tram station and the Grand Bazar. Plenty of eateries and groceries nearby. This is meant for families with kids on a budget as well as need to be in proximity of conveniences as well as tourist hubs.

I was on vacations with my wife & 2 kids. This hotel is being managed by 2 brothers and they are super friendly and helpful. Always welcoming with a smile on their face. They helped and guided us on many instances, what things to watch out for and how to travel within city easily and comfortably. The room were neat and clean just as shown in the pictures. The breakfast is available on rooftop early in the morning and can also be arranged in the room if requested. Washrooms were clean as shown with all the necessary amenities. 24 hours hot running water. Grand Bazaar on 5 min walk. Havaist Bus Stop on 10 Min Walk Metro Train Stop 5 Min Walk. I rate this hotel highly specially because of the people who are running this place. Keep up the amazing work.

Nothing. There is literally nothing that I may not have liked. All was perfectly managed.

The staff were welcoming and helpful throughout the stay. They provided suggestions in what to do within the area and the best modes of transport to use i.e. trams.

The breakfast was very Turkish style, I feel it could have been more continental to cater to everyone. The room could have been cleaned better - they forgot to take out the bins and it seemed like the bedding was not changed but just altered to look more presentable.

Love the hotel, the property is very clean and breakfast is wonderful, but internet connection is very weak. Location is in the center of everything, very close to blue mosque, Grand Bazaar is across the Main Street 7 min walk. Other this is one of my best choice hotel in Turkey.
