perfection location for our last night in Turkey although the modest entrance is deceiving! The receptionist who welcomed us (Sim?) was exceptional, and the Harley rider (name?!) who helped us to our taxi very helpful as well

entrance not well marked and not very appealing, no lift up to reception could be an issue for some, although reception staff did help with luggage

The staff was very friendly, polite and helpfull. The room was big enough for us to even leave our big luggage open on the floor! Another positive thing is that we had free bottled water every day in our room...!

Unfortunately on the top floor of the building there is a restaurant which transforms into a club on Saturdays and the insulation is not good so it makes it difficult to fall asleep...

Location was excellent and Sim at reception was lovely. It was a spacious apartment with a comfortable bed. Tastefully decorated. Even though you are right on istiklal street, the double glazed windows do a really good job of blocking out the noise however if you are a light sleeper it won't block out all noise and you will still get some disturbance from the busiest street in Istanbul as to be expected... The curtains also are good however have some light leaks around the corners and so sometimes there are flashes from police cars going down istiklal street which can be annoying.

Bathroom ceiling was dropping paint and a chunk of marble was missing as you stepped out of the shower making it a little dangerous but the rest of the room was was well maintained. The hot water also doesn't last forever at certain times but most of the time it was good. Our freezer was section of the fridge was also completely frozen over so that you couldn't put anything in there but it was ok because we could just ask staff for a bucket of ice for our drinks. The floorboards are also quite old and have decent sized gaps in-between them which means that quite a lot of dust, crumbs, gunk etc build up between them and you really notice it when you are sitting on the toilet for example. Not too bad in the main part of the bedroom.

I liked the fact that it was on the main street, location was great to get to the M2 line and work. There were lots of touristy stuff to see in a 30 minute radius by foot, it's a great location for tourism on foot.

It was a bit noisy up to 1 am if you get a city view room but that was also part of the charm so I can't say I did not like it, I'm just thinking this could be something some people might not like.

This was our second visit to this hotel ... we had stayed here a week earlier. This time, we had a sea-view room (see photo below, taken from the balcony) ... which was very clean and full of character. The hotel location was excellent, on Istiklal Caddesi ... Istanbul's premier shopping street. The staff were very friendly, and accommodating (!). . An important note for during the CoVID-19 Pandemic ... staff arranged for somebody to come to the hotel and carry out a PCR (Polymerase Chain Reaction) Test on a Sunday morning. The test results arrived later that evening.

Breakfast was not included which I was so confused about it. I never book any hotels in Istanbul without including Breakfast. They stuff told me we don't server Breakfast and it was a mistake on booking website.

I was shocked when I noticed when u enter the apartment building there is no elevator. I had to carry 4 suitcase all the way up and take stairs. From second floor you can get an elevator. I found this very uncomfortable but One of the staff helped me to carry half of my suitcases .

The staff was courteous, friendly and very helpful. Gave recommendations to local restaurants and even called to reserve a hamam at the last minute for us. The hotel is in smack center of the busy Istaklal street but you couldn’t hear the noise from the room. It’s only a few minutes walk to the train station. 10 minutes walk to taksim square & galata tower. Only draw back is taxi can’t drop you off at front entrance of the hotel although it’s only a 1 minute walk from the taxi drop off. Also you have to carry your luggage up 1 staircase before you get to the lobby then there’s elevator from there up to your room.

Thank you all the staff for the amazing and comfortable stay. Everyone were very nice and always ready to help. The room was clean and nice, the view is amazing (especially from the balcony).

The rooms are nice and the location is perfect. Definitely in the heart of the city. The balcony with Istiklal view is really nice.

Half of the lights in the room didn't work and certain parts of the room should be repaired (floor, balcony door, lights, kitchen...)

The location and the staff eapecially Emre. The location was near everything, it is in isticlal, the busy small padestrian street. Taksim square, Galata tower, etc are walkable. Emre was very helpful- he helped us carry our big luggage from ground floor to firts floor. The room was spacious, we felt at home and the view to the street from a tiny balcony was very good.

We did not realize that the hotel was not accesable by taxi/car so we had to stop about 150M from the hotel and carried our own luggage to the hotel. I did not recall booking.com or reviewers mentioned about this. It was not easy for us as he had 4 luggage (long travelling) and the street to the hotel was hilly. When we arrived at the hotel, we were shocked to find that no lift from the ground floor but fortunately Emre helped us bring the luggage upstairs. I am not sure if booking.com should call this an hotel, it is more like an apartment to me.
